After signing in and taking care of the paperwork she asked me to go ahead and have a seat. When I went to sit down I noticed a faint sound of me being at the beach. I heard waves crashing delicately against the rocks to and fro. I heard seagulls and a few other birds as well as a slight sound of wind. This was so cool. I looked around and found a white sound machine sitting on one of the tables in the well decorated waiting room. I was already so nervous and this completely calmed me down. I loved it! I was called in approximately 15 minutes after my appointment time and Dr. Jablecki introduced himself. We sat down and began to discuss my case when I noticed that he has five pens (my favorite ones too) in his top left shirt pocket. While he is talking I start noticing ink appearing on his shirt. I didn't know whether to ignore it or tell him. You know me Yelp peeps. I excused myself for interrupting and advised him that it was leaking. The Dr. removed the pen and got up to put white tape to cover up the ink so that it wouldn't bother me. How could he tell I was OCD? lol. That was a great customer service move! We went on with the intake and then went into the examination room. This room was very well decorated and homely at the same time. It was a cross between a doctors room and a vintage massage room. I noticed a complete wall with accommodations and degree wall of fame which also included an official award from the President of the United states certificate signed by the Secretary of State. My favorite was the award for him being an honorary Eagle Scout with The Boy Scouts of America! As I looked at the wall the only thing that I could think of was "I really bet that his Momma must have been so proud!". While I waited I was thirsty and the receptionist brought me some nice cold water (that is customer service). I did not like the process that I needed to have done but Dr. Jablecki made it more tolerable. He is very polite and personable. He will answer every question you have and not mince words. He tapes all of his findings with you sitting right there which keeps you in the loop of your prognosis even if you do not understand everything he is saying. My experience over all was exceptional. I would recommend you check out the health grades below if you are in need of his services please give him a call.. Everyone else loves this Dr as well. http://www.healthgrades.com/physician/dr-charles-jablecki-xqsgr Please also check out this site: http://www.avvo.com/doctors/charles-jablecki-2219558.html On a personal note: I really thank God for leading me to this Dr. It could have been a really bad experience and it turned out to be great! A couple of months ago, I felt my head spinning…read more I was sitting in a chair reading and literally, anything I looked at was spinning counter clockwise. Scary stuff. Ended up getting a lift to the ER. You know, lights and sirens. So my doctor recommended Dr Purcell and his team. Thank you G-d! I went through a battery of tests and we got to the bottom of it. Extreme Vertigo. But I feel much better now and I know what to watch for. The so-called triggers Sorry to all my Yelp friends if I've been MIA. Like I said, scary... (sugar, honey, ice, tea). Again, THANK YOU Dr Purcell!

I did have a moment with Dr Patel and she seemed very capable, understanding and patient, also. Unfortunately I mainly dealt with a PA by the name of CARTER COPELAND, who turned out to be UN-humourous, impatient, headstrong and forceful ----- to try to convince me that I have MultipleSchlerosis... Thanks !! This is a big diagnosis - or preliminary diagnosis - to take in, and my repeated mentions that I do not want to submit myself to a lumbar puncture or further FOUR MRIs --- were not even considered -HE JUST TALKED OVER ME. You did not even listen to me, when I mentioned I think there is a NERVE impinging on my shoulder, pain lessening, and turning to tingling -- He refused to think about, or even consider my longLasting chronic exhaustion; and he barely considered sleep testing for me.... Thanks, PaL. I doubt I will get my sleep studied at all..... Gotta change providers.. I feel like he is the LAST and least possible person I want to speak to, or 'trust', from this Purcell practice. I did not speak with Doctor P....! I WILL SWITCH MY INSURANCE, AND GO TO UCSD !!!! I asked Mr CarterCopeland about the possibility to be referred for testing on a British / NEW MRI, which relies heavily on 3D FLAIR and T2-weighted sequences, a 20 minute MRI --which does not also need a spinal tap / do I need a referral to UCSD ?? THIS MAN REFUSED TO ANSWER.. Carter's simple, rushed & sardonic advice/wish/demand was that I get my spine drained through a dodgy (painful and possibly subject to infection) lumbar puncture, and to submit to loud hoursLong invasive MRIs ---- to make his facilitated diagnosis even MORE cloudy..... ........."NEXT".......

I came to this clinic with MRI-confirmed disc injuries, including annular fissures and mild canal narrowing at C5-C7, along with persistent cervical pain that had not responded to conservative care. I had completed physical therapy, chiropractic treatment, massage, and multiple rounds of medication. Early in my treatment, a cervical epidural steroid injection (CESI) was presented as a next step if symptoms continued. I followed through with everything recommended. When my symptoms persisted, I expressed that I was ready to move forward with the CESI and made it clear that cost would not be a barrier--I was willing to pay cash. Despite this, the CESI was then walked back with shifting justifications: first citing cost, then later saying the disc bulges were "too small," even though the imaging findings had been available for weeks and hadn't changed. There has been no new information medically--only a changing explanation that doesn't align with the original plan of care. As a patient, this experience has been frustrating. If the provider or clinic is simply uncomfortable with performing the procedure, that should be communicated clearly and early--not repositioned after the patient agrees to proceed. I'm seeking a second opinion elsewhere and hope this review encourages a more transparent and consistent approach for future patients.

Today I terminated Dr. Grisolia after only seeing him one time. I went to him for very severe cluster headaches. He didn't order any labs or exams. He simply threw drugs at me... He attempted to talk me into using a psychoactive mind-altering drug that is on my allergy list, that I had severe side effects from 20 years ago. I'm a cardiac patient but he then prescribed a medication for me that is contraindicated for cardiac patients ....it causes chest pain, heart problems and vomiting. He did not even explain or warn me about the side effects. I spent two nights vomiting on the toilet. I had to learn about the FDA box warning level from Google. This is not competence nor professionalism. And I echo the other reviews about his receptionist Yolanda who is rude and abrupt
