From beginning to end she was communicative, professional and so very easy to work with. During the shoot she worked with my other littles so patiently and her work is so beautiful. I had not felt very pretty or photogenic during this pregnancy but Monique made me comfortable and made sure i felt beautiful, she captured gorgeous photos of my whole family. WHAT A GREAT experience with Monique!!! We found her right before Xmas and were desperate to get our family portraits done before the holiday season! Monique worked around her schedule and squeezed us in over a weekend. She was SOOOOOOOOOO good with my two children (7 year old girl and 3 year old boy)... She got their attention by learning about them before the photo shoot, and she was so patient with them as well. Monique did a fantastic job from start to finish with our wedding photography. She was very involved and proactive with planning, engagement photo coordination, meeting and planning the wedding photography, and didn't skip a beat during the wedding. Monique and her team captured our engagement a few weeks ago in Half Moon Bay. They were a pleasure to work with and we would highly recommend. We booked through Bark. About 2 weeks before the event, Monique met personally on the site to scout the location and talk through logistics, which was incredibly helpful. On the day of, the photographer Chris was easy to coordinate with and timely - he was patient when my date was late, and helped also capture the moment on my personal go pro. It took a little over a week to get the photos, and they gave us the whole catalog of photos from the event, with the ability to download all of them easily and share them. Monique is not only a great photographer but one of the best people that I have had the pleasure of meeting. She went so far above the call of duty to destroy my expectations that she has earned a permanent place in me and my significant other's heart. It all started with my planned proposal to the love of my life. In normal guy fashion, I completely forgot about some important plans that she told me about (probably during the Bears game) and scheduled my proposal on the same weekend. In a panic, I needed to speed up the proposal to take place in less than 36 hours. I patiently waited for her to fall asleep and started frantically contacting photographers at 11:30PM on Thursday for a Saturday proposal. The next morning after a lot of laughs from other photographers and enough panic that I needed to practice my calming breathing techniques, I received an email from Monique....... and all of a sudden, I started to feel like everything was going to be ok. Now I just needed to find a spot to pop the big question, since, of course, the spot I had originally booked was taken this weekend, (things couldn't have been that easy). After aimlessly driving around San Ramon/Danville for hours, not knowing what I was looking for and putting Monique through 3 different site changes. I looked up and saw that glorious Mt. Diablo, I figured it was worth a try. As I drove up the side of the mountain looking in every picnic area, campground, nook and cranny for a place that would be perfect enough for the women who is strong enough to put up with me every day for the last 6 1/2 years. When I called Monique and laid out my plans, I thought she would respond like most people would and say I am crazy or say it was out of the service area or try to tack on some extra costs, but Monique just said "let me know when you find the perfect spot and I will come meet you." After a little searching and searching and searching, I found a place that we will remember the rest of our lives. Fast forward an hour or so Monique meets me at the gate to the park and we drive to the spot where I am planning to pledge my neverending love. Monique not only took her time making sure that we had the right lighting and setup but also helped me plan out, what I think, was one of the most beautiful and epic proposals in the history of mankind (Kanye has nothing on me). And I got the pictures to prove it. The big day arrives and Monique drives up to Mt. Diablo, she is waiting and posing like she is a photographer just getting prepared to shoot the sunset. My lovely better half and I put a blanket on the grass and have a little Saturday picnic. The day prior Monique and I had planned on the perfect sunset proposal time being at 4:53PM. Too early and it would be too bright for the biggest moment of my life and any later.....we wouldn't have enough sunlight for the post proposal photoshoot. 4:53 came, I stood up with my future Mrs., dropped to one knee and asked her to make me the happiest man in the entire world. All while Monique was capturing every moment. The happiness and joy Monique brought to us that day is beyond any amount I could have paid. She made us feel like we were the only people in the world that mattered and as the tears flowed and kisses ensued, Monique was there to capture every moment for us to enjoy with our families, future children and grandchildren. I wouldn't only recommend Monique as a photographer, I would recommend her as a friend. The customer service and care she provided is seldom seen in today's world. If you have a special moment that you want to capture for a lifetime, do yourself a favor an give her a call. P.S. my soon to be wife said yes that day, I'm not sure if her answer would have been different if Monique wasn't photographing but I guess we will never know............ After multiple miscarriages I was broken. I got pregnant again and week after week my baby was growing and surviving. After so many losses I was terrified to document anything but at 35 weeks I was able to take a small breath and smile for the camera which Monique was holding. She took the most beautiful pictures of me and my pregnancy. I will always cherish them because I was almost too afraid to take any but she reassured me, held my hand and reminded me to celebrate this time and my baby. I cannot thank her enough for the photos, for the beautiful location she suggested, my hair and makeup (she knew who to call) and her kindness and love during this time in my life - I will never, ever forget the support and love. I do not recommend Monique. I found her pushy and not a kind person. I understand that contracts must be followed but we are in the middle of a pandemic and everyone is bending the rules to help each other during this horrible time, but not Monique. If you hire her she won't support you and it will be like dealing with a lawyer. I would recommend you take your business to someone that is supporting and understanding. read more

She makes you feel so comfortable and the result is you get such a genuine natural photo. My fiance was in the US on a work visa and got laid off due to Covid-19, he had to return to India and has not been able to come back. We decided to cancel our plans to get married because we don't know when this will be over and when will our families be able to come to SF to share what was supposed to be the happiest day of our lives. Monique kept messaging us asking when will the events happened (pushy) after I told her our situation and that I would like her know when we knew what was going to happen. She kept messaging us. After thinking over a lot we decided that it was best to just gift the two sessions to my sisters that both live where she lives. She wouldn't have to come to SF, pay tolls and parking. I messaged her and she said that she would cancel our events and that she would give my sisters a good rate. I thought this meant she was going to return our money due to the extraordinary circumstances, but no she was just planning on keeping the money (because it was it says on the contract) and she thought I would recommend her! Dealing with her is like dealing with a lawyer, she is heartless and won't work with you, even though we lost our jobs and each other. She won't accommodate you and support you. She doesn't treat you like a human being, you are just a contract and a number to her. I am in the events industry as well and I have accommodated people in difficult situations because I am a good person and it literally cost ZERO to be a decent and kind person. It would've also costed her ZERO to allow me to do a nice thing for my sisters. Please think it over many times because you won't be treated with kindness. This is the most horrible time in my life, I've lost everything and she did not care. read more
