When we raised this concern and suggested that she either get another staff member or perhaps keep the kids in a more confined area so they can be watched closer, she decided to expel our son. It is nice in the beginning being able to check in over the web cam. My kids were always so excited to see their friends from school walking around the neighborhood. They also developed great foundational skills, learning their alphabet, letter sound relationships, counting and some Spanish and sign language. They loved the weekly visits from the music/ASL teacher. The teachers also helped greatly with potty training once we started at home. It was also great knowing that lunch and snacks were taken care of and that our kids were trying new foods.

Our first daughter and the anxiety of having a stranger watch my 6month old was SCARY! I mean, I was crying every night thinking about it. I found this daycare on yelp and with one review of 5 stars I said "why not". I called and spoke to Damasa (the owner). She asked me to come after daycare hours which I responded "I would rather come during the day to see how it is with the children there". Do you know what her response was? "No, I need to focus on the children and I would much rather after hours". I appreciated this answer so much because it made me feel that she cared about the children and not just a quick buck! When we went to tour the place we immediately noticed the camera outside the door. The gates all over the house. The guards on all cabinet doors. Every time we would enter or leave the room she made sure to close the gate right behind us. (Safety first!) If you are a parent that cares about violations and etc (as I am) I will have you know that this daycare does not have ANY violations. (Yes, I did my research before enrolling and during enrollment). Damasa is VERY strict about parents having all proper paperwork. I appreciate that so much! She truly cares. Fast forward to a year later and we absolutely LOVE AND APPRECIATE ALL THAT THEY DO FOR OUR DAUGHTER. She is allergic to peanuts, wheat, soy, eggs, dairy and MORE! We send her food and bottles everyday and they have a special spot in the fridge just for her. They also asked all parents not to send anything with peanuts as my daughter is severely allergic. When my daughter is sick she will call or text to find out if she's ok everyday. They even help me whenever my daughter is going through something and her own doctor couldn't even help. They will even FaceTime my daughter if she hasn't been to daycare for days. I KNOW that Damasa and her team care and love my daughter. I went from panicking, crying and even hyperventilating to now not worrying at all when my daughter is in daycare. They truly care, they are honest and they enjoy what they do. From the beginning I explained the type of mother I am...A worrying Mommy lol. We have such a great relationship as far as communication goes and I love all the themes and fun activities they plan. They have decorations for EVERY SINGLE THEME lol. I love it. Every holiday the children leave daycare with cute treat bags. I would recommend any parent that truly cares about having more of a family around their child rather than a center to visit Wishes and Dreams. They are smiling and engaging with the children as soon as they open the doors. My daughter gets excited EVERYDAY when we drop her off in the mornings. I tell them all the time, they are stuck with her until she starts school :-) She's not going anywhere.
