I'm originally from Long Island N.Y and have been to many record shops but never one like this, I was blown back of how knowledgeable they are of any music you're looking for. The Gentleman John gave me the full tour of all of the music available. Great guy everyone in that store could not have been nicer to me which I'm not used to. I was lucky enough to meet the drummer from Seether, what a cool guy, he signed an album for me and took a photo with me. One of my best Mondays in a long time will definitely go back. Staff can find anything in stock in a minute, and get most anything they don't have, including rare recordings, in a week. Monkey Feet has a huge selection of LP records, spanning 5 different rooms. Monkey Feet has all the greats and classics of rock, jazz, blues, country, you name it. There's also a selection of more modern records that I was not expecting; I'm talking Def Jam. The owner is extremely friendly and gave me a tour of the place since I was a first time costumer. I also got a 10% discount because it was my first time - yay! In addition to the regular prices, there are tons of bins with 3 for $10 records. There's also a large selection of holiday music for $2, which I'm sure parents and grandparents would enjoy when the time of year rolls around again. Yes, it's in law office. I think it adds to the charm. Because of this, it's only open on Saturday and Sunday. Though the owner did give me his business card in case I ever want to make a purchase on a weekday. There is so much to love about this place -- from the weird location (slightly hidden in a law office suite) to the wall-to-wall vinyl that dominates the two rooms (replete with wood paneling for that super-"aging rocker" vibe), but don't be fooled by the decor. Both guys there are more than willing to let you peruse at your leisure, talk music if you want, and there are some great deals, including dollar bins! I'm more of an Ella Fitzgerald guy than a fan of some obscure Seventies indie band, granted, but a boy can find it all here, and for very little green. It's decorated to resemble your grandmother's basement ca. 1974, granted, but that's part of the charm. Friendly service. Convenient but odd location. read more

A hidden treasure in OKC, for sure. Great selection of Japanese imports, vintage equipment and rare/old vinyl. It's a unique, unassuming space with a laid back vibe. Ed & Laura and the rest of the staff are super kind and helpful and their hospitality further enhances the experience. They welcome you into their space as if it were a ma and pa grocer for you to find your sonic produce. Definitely a solid stop for crate digging in the OKC area. read more
