I was looking for a Dean Martin album for my Dad for his birthday. I called everywhere! Finally, I found this unique Jem. Now, vinyls are making a comeback, but thereby been out of the main rotation for so long, you don't see copious amounts of them.... Until now. This guy is a straight up original, authentic hippy that is also an avid collector. Not only does he have a million records in his giant store, but he also has various knick- knacks like lamps, shirts, old toys, comics and second hand jewelry. Like I said, he's a collector. He's really helpful also. He has SO many records, but if you ask him where one is, he'll take you right to it. He's the Rainman of vinyl.... I really like crate digging here...but the last few times I've bought several records and get them home only to find many of them warped and unplayable. It's now happened a few times and I know ultimately I should be checking each record - but just a caution to others - because most of the shops I go to do their own quality control and I don't usually feel the need to check records unless it's a record show, garage sale or thrift store. So just be careful here. But I do love hanging and digging here. read more

Majority of the records I own were purchased here. There's records, CD's, antiques, posters! Idk how many times I've gone there, but EVERY time I have the owner had shown me Something new and exciting related to what I'm looking at. This place is so cool. They have a huge selection of records- mostly rock, jazz and blues. The prices are very reasonable. The owner was very friendly and knowledgeable. He said what's in the store is only the tip of the ice berg. He most all of the albums I was looking for. I could spend hours here. They also have a stage and occasionally have concerts in the store. I thought I was coming to this store and would find a bunch of "everybody has these" records for way too much money. But this place has SO many great finds. This place is the place I envision when I think of digging for records. My first visit here and I left with over 25 records, mostly all stuff I didn't know I needed until I saw them. Such a fantastic selection and also of those 25+ records I bought, only ONE was in less than great condition. This place has SO MUCH STUFF! It's really overwhelming. I could spend an entire day in there. As others have said, it's pretty disorganized but they have the big stuff, meaning high quality vintage vinyl, organized well. People say the prices are high, but the stuff that's actually priced is in mint shape. And, if you have a problem with some after you get it home they'll let you bring it back and give you a trade for another item. If you miss vinyl and magnetic media, plan an afternoon (or six) and dive in! In the end, we've always gotten a good deal between the priced and non-priced stuff. read more

Wow this shop was one of the best stops on my trip to OKC - I wish I lived closer because I would make this place a weekly stop on my vinyl hunting route. There are thousands of records spanning all genres of music, and the owner is such a cool guy with lots of music knowledge. Everything I bought was in NM to VG condition at reasonable prices, and I even found a couple of very rare items here. This is a classic old record store full of history it seems. Very friendly fellow behind the counter. This store has a massive selection if records. There is a reason for the massive selection. The pricing here is in the absurd scale. Most titles starting at 20 per record. Brother, your Rush and Van Halen records are worth 8-10 tops. This is one of those stores I just don't get. Prices way way way outside competition in the area. Guestroom records have just as good selection priced accordingly. Skip this unless you just want nostalgia. read more
