Finally checked out our local record shop, and was pleasantly surprised. What impressed me the most was the organization. I've been to other shops where it was hard to find what you're looking for. Everything here is labeled, and they have an accurate inventory and were helpful when I asked about a particular album. I was also pleasantly surprised that used vinyl was 20% off. Not sure if that was a special deal today or if it's always the case. They also have the list price so you can compare. Very nice store and experience. We left with 4 records today, two new and two vintage. Will definitely be back. read more

Would not purchase from this company EVER again. The way the owner watches over the place is eerie in itself. The owner was friendly, however, a little off. The employees were phenomenal.. the layout was decent but confusing at first New Vs Old.. agree with a few other reviews .. their pricing is not even on par .. They had a sale , but in several used there would be a sticker .. no discount .. also too many stickers .. they have a "perceived value" than their price .. was very confusing And 45s should seldom be priced above $5.. looked at some more than readily available Bee Gees.. they were all over $5.. need to possibly do a massive overhaul on pricing .. you sell by volume not margin .. mark the entire store at 65% off and everything must go.. this overinflated brick and mortar approach is not sustainable.. back to EBay read more

Great record store. This was my first time ever entering one. I got word that this was a hole in the wall spot that had a vintage feel and esthetic. I must say that the information that was relayed to me was 100% accurate. The owners were very helpful in helping me find the vinyls I was looking for. I visit a lot of record stores and have a pretty good handle on prices. This store CONFUSED me. Their new records are pretty reasonably priced. But that's about it. No rhyme or reason on why an old Frank Sinatra album (that could reasonably be found for $8 or less anywhere) has a sticker that says it's a $125 album but marked down to $80. Old Jimmie Smith albums for $80?! Really?! Can get those for less than $10 anywhere. Won't be back here again. read more

Somewhere in between on this place. I've been here a bunch of times, but the pricing is all over the place. Some are priced as expected and some are astronomically more expensive than I've ever seen (like the highest price ever on Discogs). There are always always discounts on the used stuff, but I would be more appreciative if it were just straightforward. read more

I wrote this fear in my heart: if too many people discover this amazing business I might miss out on some rare finds. But the wonderful couple who own this spot deserve the love and the patronage. So if I pull up and find this spot packed I will be nothing but happy for them. When other friends tell tales of long lines and maddening waits to maybe find one rare platter I always laugh at them. Friends from all over the country hate that I can tell them on big sale days the owners have doughnuts and smiles ready for all of us diving through the crates. In fact I usually end up finding things no one else can- and they spent hours and all I did was walk in and say hello. We are gifted with some great record stores in OKC. And I do frequent most of them, but I am always drawn back to this cares for family business. They love what they do and it shows day after day. I never leave here disappointed. Sometimes I leave without exactly what I hoped to find, but my arms are still clutching some great buys. read more

Untrustworthy thieves. I brought my collection of records here to see what they would be willing to offer me. The owner said he would look at them and call me about 4-5 days later to let me know what he would pay. End result is after almost 2 weeks of me calling and not being able to get a hold of the owner with whom I left all my records with I finally decided to just go in and get my records back. When I get there and tell them I came to pick up my records I was told that they only had 35 out of the 47 records I left them and they will give me $50 for the 12 records they kept. I told them I wasn't happy with that offer so no thank you and I said that I would be willing to pay them for their time and for whatever price he charges for doing an appraisal but I'd like to just keep them all, I was told that THEY HAD ALREADY SOLD MY RECORDS!!! I know for a fact that one out of the FIVE beatles albums I had in there was worth $128 in of itself because I had it appraised prior to taking the albums there. This place stole the 12 most valuable records I owned. The owner is a straight up liar and he is a thief hiding behind the fact that he owns a business. Pls don't support this business bc they are shady and do horrible business. They are willing to steal from their customers and they do not care about you in any way shape or form. read more

This place is wonderful! They have a terrific selection of new and vintage records and the staff is knowledgeable. To give you an example, a young lady probably 12 years old came in with her mom and was looking through records with awe in her eyes; when she finally chose her record and shyly brought it up to the counter, the owner chatted with her about her selection and the young lady just opened up in excitement that this was her very first record purchase and she was so excited to go home and play it! The owner then took time to explain how to care for her record to keep it in excellent shape for her future listening pleasure! I was absolutely delighted to be able to watch this interaction and to see another kiddo turned onto the joy of vinyl! read more

Every record we have purchased here has always been in good shape, but they will take it back if it's not. There is also a player you can use to sample your choices before you buy. A quaint shop in Edmond that was a very pleasant find. I have been back several times in the past 6 months and the owner simply could not be a nicer person. I'm guessing the negative review is from someone who either doesn't know vinyl or doesn't get how a re-seller makes money. I have heard him several times with prospective customers, and he explains the detail that he puts into buying used records, which ensures the vinyl he sells is good quality stuff. I wish he were able to keep alot of used audiophile pressings in stock, but seeing as how this is my wish for all stores, I'm not sure if it's just me wishing for the world. Anyways, if you are into vinyl and in Edmond, it's definitely worth a stop. read more

3 Dachshunds has been a great find for me! Easy to park and get into and always has both new and vintage vinyl. Seems to have more new stock than the other places in the metro. I have also bought gift certificates here knowing that if there is anything you need he will get it withing a day or two. His stock is always in good order and he is willing to help without shadowing you while you browse. On the one occasion I was having trouble with surface noise he traded me out without even questioning what the issue was although he took the time to clean and play the album and it turns out it was an issue with my tt and not the albums fault at all. If you are ever up north do yourself a favor and check out 3 Dachshunds. It might save you a little time browsing through stacks of records that are not in good shape. I am addicted to this amazing shop! The owners are fantastic! they are just amazing, & lovely people. once they get to know you they greet you on a first name basis! and the stock keeps growing! Jack & Betty are extremely knowledgeable about everything they carry and some specialty items come with amazing stories!... and then there is the Vinyl ohhhh the Beautiful Vinyl! But that's not all they carry collectibles and vintage trinkets to boot! just come check it out if you don't believe it!
