Warning to homeowners--especially first-time buyers. We…read morecontacted Roto-Rooter requesting a plumber to evaluate a ceiling stain. There was no active leak, no standing water, and no emergency--just a stain. Despite this, the situation was presented as urgent and severe, creating pressure to act immediately. Within 10-15 minutes of arrival, we were asked to sign authorization paperwork without a clear explanation of what we were agreeing to or the true necessity of the work. Instead of sending a plumber on day one, a water mitigation team was dispatched immediately, and a plumber did not arrive until three days later. We were under the impression that a plumbing assessment would occur before any invasive work. We later learned that had a plumber evaluated the issue first, the ceiling opening could have been significantly smaller--less than one-quarter of what was cut. Even the professionals who later repaired the ceiling confirmed the demolition was excessive and unnecessary. The billing practices are deeply concerning. After-hours pricing was applied broadly, including to materials, which do not change in cost based on time of day or federal holidays. While labor rates may vary, materials do not. Applying after-hours rates and O&P to materials feels like intentional inflation, not cost-based pricing. Nearly every line item appears maximized, and while we were able to prove a few clear discrepancies (such as drywall square footage), many others remain questionable. It is also hard to ignore how differently services are priced when insurance is involved. As out-of-pocket customers, we lacked the leverage insurers have to challenge inflated charges, and that imbalance appears to have been exploited. Independent professionals have since told us this entire issue--including repair--should have cost under $2,000. Instead, we were led into a far more invasive and expensive process under the false impression that immediate action was required. Any later attempt to reframe correcting improper after-hours pricing on materials as a "goodwill gesture" is misleading. Accurate pricing is not a favor--it's a basic obligation. This experience reflects poorly on Roto-Rooter's practices and their treatment of customers acting in good faith. I would strongly caution others to get independent opinions before proceeding, especially if you are told something is an "emergency" when it clearly is not.

I purchased a Kitchenaid elective stove and a dishwasher and a GE dryer in December 2025. The…read moresales agent was very informed and easy to work with. Delivery and installers were great. My peeve is the Kitchenaid rebate process. I did all that was requested using the online process. A pic is required of the invoice and the card showing the S/N. I uploaded/attached the pics required. I am now on the FOURTH attempt as they keep rejecting it saying they can't read it. Last response is the dishwasher information doesn't match the store information. This is very frustrating. It is almost like a rebate bate/scam. You need to do better for customers that spend that much money at your store.

My refrigerator died on a Saturday two weeks before Christmas. On Sunday I had done my research,…read moremeasured my fridge hole and went to Warner's ready to buy. Mary was excellent, showing me the exact three fridges I had landed on, helping me with measurements, and walking me through the realization I needed a carpenter to take 1-1/2" off my top of fridge cabinet in order for the new one to fit. (Minor rant: WHY do appliance manufacturers make all the new fridges taller than they were twenty years ago?? Why?) Worked out the purchase and then got hit with the awful news: deliveries are backed up from Black Friday sales and I will have to wait two weeks for delivery. Bear in mind my fridge is dead, stinking up my kitchen. Now, it's hella cold in Minnesota in December, so fridge stuff is fine in my garage. But. Going to the garage for cream for my tea, for a glass of milk, for (don't judge me!) a glass of wine is getting really old. Mary, however, was on it! She checked delivery openings every day, called me to keep me updated, and then pulled a rabbit out of a hat and my delivery was moved up by eight days! Finally, today, my new fridge was installed. Josh was a total boss of an installer. He had to take off one of my front doors, he repaired the bottom locking bolt that was stuck, installed the fridge, rehung my door, I mean really went above and beyond. I am extremely happy. Delivery was free, install was free, carting away my old fridge was free. I highly recommend Warners Stellian.

So, my kitchen faucet decided to go berserk and I seemed to exacerbate the problem trying to "fix"…read moreit. Well, I searched and got a quote from a few companies. I'd booked with a different company, who texted at the last minute that they weren't going to be there on time. Not getting a new time, I reached out again to those who had responded. Metro had originally stated that they could come out on Friday. I didn't want to wait that long, so I got on their list to see if they'd make it out on Thursday. I was contacted a short time later that someone would be out between noon and 4. Relieved, I got back to work. It was close to 3 when the nice young man arrived. I let him in and ge went right to work. Less than 30 minutes later, he'd cleaned out and tightened everything that caused the issue. The cost was $120. This was a quick, inexpensive repair with very friendly service. I've already given their name to a friend who's having plumbing issues at his home. Thanks Metro! I know who to call when the need arises again.

It took them two more days to get the estimate to me and it did not arrive when they said it would. When they got it to it to me, it was too late and they did not give me the estimate in the way that I asked for it. Communicate with the company was not acceptable, I could not get ahold of the person I needed to talk to, they would not let me email with them.
