Paul from Norblom assessed the situation and came up with a more cost affordable and easier to maintain solution for us to close up the broken pipe in the hard to reach location and run new pipe (up to code) to the side of the house. During his inspection he also found an issue with our dryer vent not being properly hooked up which is not something we would have noticed on our own. He was right on time in his time window, was very friendly, took the time to explain things to me, and most importantly was in and out in a few hours. I would definitely recommend if you're looking for a professional to help with a plumbing issue.

I was unable to be there to monitor the worker, unfortunately. 1) The worker invited his friend over to my parents' home to "help" him. The friend - some rando with no uniform on and probably not vetted by the company. 2) Said rando parked in the neighbors' driveway. I moved my parents' car so the service vehicle could park in their spot, to avoid this. 3) The "expert plumber" took 3 HOURS to install a BASIC kitchen faucet. He replaced a basic faucet, so no bells and whistles -- nothing complicated. He said, "The old faucet was corroded." Riiiiiiiiiight... 4) Charged my elderly dad over $950 for a BASIC faucet replacement. (Before discount, so over $850 in the end). Thank goodness for his military discount! 5) Didn't plug appliances back correctly. Had to call them to come back the next day to check their work. (In case it voided any warranties, if we did anything ourselves.) 6) His "supervisor" came out. I asked him why it cost almost $1000 dollars for a BASIC kitchen faucet replacement? He said, "That's just our pricing." 7) This company was originally called for a clogged toilet. The plumber flushed it a couple of times and said there was nothing wrong. No camera check, as advertised. (I had worked on unclogging it for several days, as it was unusable.) I guess, I'm a master plumber now. Bottom line: Get quotes, people! And read the reviews! I was charged a $75.00 trip fee for Austin to spend 1 minute looking at the fan and told me 'those types of fans' have some sort of permanent mechanism and it wouldn't be cost effective to repair. That I should just get a new fan. Why couldn't that be told to me when I set up the appointment?, Why, -because they wanted their $75.00 trip fee. And additionally, the estimate to swap out the existing fan with the new one I would buy would be $569. They then said they would do a 'courtesy check' of my fuse box, and then tried to upsell me over $1200 in 'recommended' services. I would not trust them to be authentic and honest for any service.

Then we searched for a plumber who could install it that same day. Evidently, not all plumbers will service condominiums, so it took a bit of calling around. St. Paul Pipeworks was able to fit us in the same day. Jason was punctual and friendly, and did an excellent job of removing the old toilet and installing the new one.
