We had issues with the Town related to town politics (ie nothing he did wrong), for example, and he tirelessly partnered with us to figure it out. He kept every single vendor on track and the delays were minimal, usually related to things out of stock. He was often at the house, checking in with the vendors and workers to make sure everything was being executed to plan. When we found any minor thing that wasn't exactly how we wanted it, he came back and fixed it himself. he was available and honest and has an amazing eye for detail. We decided to remodel our kitchen so we called several companies that specialize in kitchen remodeling. Each company sent a sales person to visit the house and assess the scope of the job and gave us proposals. We selected Mr. Kitchen and Bath on Centennial Avenue in Cranford New Jersey, a local family company. John Frangoulis founded the business in 1980 and it is now managed and operated by his sons Kosta who basically does design and estimating and Nick who is the on-site project manager. Kosta came to the house again and gave us some fantastic ideas on how to best maximize the space in our kitchen and gave us a detailed cost estimate Once the work began and they started to take the kitchen apart several walls of the previous remodeling were uncovered that had to be repaired before they could proceed. These unanticipated problems were repaired without any hesitation or further cost. When it came to the plumbing electrical, tiling, and counter tops they called in some of their long term trusted subcontractors. Kosta and Nick were here everyday to do their part, and continually checked the progress of the subcontractors work to make sure it met their high standards. When the remodeling was finished they asked us to go through the kitchen with a fine tooth comb. The few minor items that we found were rectified immediately. We were right in our perception that they would be perfectionist because they take pride in their work and met all of our expections and then some. Being a family owned and operated local business they do not advertise and rely solely on word of mouth for their recommendations. In our case they surely deserve the highest praise. We are thrilled and happy with our remodeled kitchen because of their ideas and guidance. Well, where to start? Originally we were looking to update the bathroom of the house we have just purchased in New Jersey. After the first consultation, I've found out that they do much more than just kitchen and bath! So we also got rid of the wall to wall carpeting and installed beautiful hardwood floors.
