If I could give no stars I would. Went there for an oil change, 3 weeks later, got low oil alarm. Found out they never put the oring on the filter, so my oil was just leaking out. Would not reimburse me. Had to spend an extra $200. Never going back here. read more

Went in to get new tires put on my car. They were quick with getting my car in the shop but, it's been 3 hours and I'm still waiting for my car to be finished. Right now I am watching my car sit on the floor (not lifted) while the 3 mechanics just walk around. My car has been sitting there for about an hour without any of them looking at it or telling me what is going on. They also offered me a free brake inspection and free tire alignment inspecting. Which they then proceeded to add on charges for new brakes and tire alignment without telling me. So the bill was around $550 when all I wanted was new tires put on. They try to offer you "free" inspections then try and slyly put charges on for the parts without consulting you and without you agreeing to put the parts on. Do not go to any monro muffler as I feel they are too sneaky and untrustworthy. read more

Just having my noise inspected and being told that I would possibly need my front brakes replaced soon, sure enough my vehicle started making that noise. You know, that money sucking noise that you just can't get away from. Also having a trip coming up in less than two weeks I wanted to make sure I did not have any trouble along the way. Most garages in the area were backed up and I couldn't wait the amount of time it would take to get my vehicle in. I attempted to get to a local garage before settling on this one. They were able to get me in the next day, which was a huge sigh of relief for me. I had my appointment set up for early afternoon the next day and just waited. You know, the noise was getting louder and the volume on the radio can only go so high. I arrived a little early, only because I knew that the parking lot at this location was a mess. I ended up having to park in the lot next door because there were no spots open. I was initially quoted a price the prior day for the work I would need but was informed that may change once they got a look at my vehicle. They told me that could take close to an hour. In that time I walked to nearby shops to do a bit of shopping and they had my number if they finished that prior to my return. However I did not have the luck of that happening. I arrived back after stopping at a few shops and they weren't quite finished yet. Once they did finish doing their workup they came out with the diagnosis if you will. Which I already knew, I needed brakes. This is where I was a little ticked, I already knew that and I told them that I wanted my fronts replaced. However, instead of hearing what I wanted they went ahead and did something completely different. This was probably nothing more than a ploy to make my bill higher. I was a bit irritated. Instead they pulled off the back tires and added time onto the labor portion of the bill. In the end it wasn't so bad, I did just go ahead and have all my brakes replaced. But if you would have listened to my request there would not have been any wasted time or money. The wait time was going to be longer than expected. With rain pouring down outside I didn't want to have to walk anywhere else than what I already did. That waiting room was no fun to sit in with a mask on and a television with an antenna getting the only station they could. I could not tell you the last time I watched a soap opera. What should have lasted a hour and a half or two, ended up lasting more like four hours. Luckily for me, I ended up having a family member pick me up so I didn't have to stay there and make small talk with other customers. Good thing is that they are open later than other garages and I was able to come back and get my vehicle later. read more

Well hubby is not a car expert either and after stopping at Ace Hardware and pouring three quarts of oil into my car, hubby was sweating the four hour drive home while we were dining at El Rancho and could not wait to finish eating to see if oil had leaked out onto the parking lot. Sure enough there was a nice big wet spot from where we had parked and he said we have to get this checked. Backtracking a bit we found this location for Monro Mufflers & Brakes, he pulled right up front, walked in looking so distressed and I was thinking to myself, see it wasn't my fault after all for resetting the oil life low button! A tall middle aged man came out, took one look under our car, checked the oil, looked at hubby and said, that is not oil leaking, that is water from you having the air conditioner running! Ha and Ha and Ha again! We were both relieved and I was in the hot seat once again because the car ran fine the entire way home and has since. What we both thought and commented on right away is this guy could have said anything he wanted to say and to take us for a lot of money and he was honest, kind and served us at no charge. One of my biggest pet peeves is to be ripped off by mechanics and if I lived in this area I would not think twice about having my vehicles serviced and inspected here! read more

Do not give these scumbags your business. Tried charging me $536 to fix something on my vehicle that was an $88 part and the labor should not have taken any longer than 1.6 hours. Not to mention I strongly believe that they were the ones who caused the problem in the first place from previous work done to the vehicle. I got the job done elsewhere for a fraction of the price ($104) not mentioning names, but I advise you weigh your options unless you have a nice fat checkbook. And if that is the case, definitely don't let them know it because they will take advantage of you. read more
