After we figured out that it was an electrical problem, my fiancé called a bunch of electricians! We finally found one that could and the electrician didn't hesitate to come out. He was at our door in 15 minutes! Mind you, it's Christmas Eve and we are in the middle of plummeting temps outside!! So it seemed hopeless we would find help as soon as we did. I'm SO grateful we have our heat back. And in the spirit of Christmas, our electrician waved the bill! I can't say nice enough things about our experience! I didn't catch his name, but he was very down to earth and SO SO SO kind! We will definitely be calling in the future for anything else we need electrically repaired. Thank you Clark Electric! In another state, my previous experience was that 90% of contractors couldn't be bothered with what they perceived would be a small job. So many contractors were like this, I lost count. Dozens. Many of this category couldn't take two minutes to give a courteous call back to prospective clients ("I am sorry but we are too busy the next couple weeks. Here is a reference to this other company") or such. We finally only were able to hire contractors through a real estate agent who also functioned as a general contractor. It was very disheartening. How is one supposed to maintain one's home over time? Small contracting businesses never know when a small job gets them a big job months later ($ tens of thousands)!
