The woman working behind the counter was very friendly and patient with us as we made our selections. I chose the cinnamon twist. It looked fresh, covered in a glaze, and swirled with lots of cinnamon sugar. The employee threw in an extra cinnamon twist for free and that's when I for sure knew I liked her and the bakery. The inside is on the smaller side, but still cute. The cases are typically very full in the mornings and I can't wait to stop back for a larger selection next time. I picked up pistachio walnut I for my fiancés grandmom, I got heath bar, chocolate and vanilla swirl, salted caramel, cookies and creme and it was either plain chocolate chip or chocolate chip cheesecake I'm not sure but it was the very best flavor of all of them! They had so many good ones and I tend to like more vanilla flavors so most of these were a combo of both. Everything was so fresh- I still had a few tiny pieces a week later stashed in the fridge and it's still so good! Orange Blossom opened last November (2025) in MD bringing with it many of the same baked goods we previously enjoyed in NC. An apple ugly is a fantastic cinnamon dough mixed with apple pie bits. But do not take my word for it, this approximately 2+ pound pastry does not look as pretty as some bakery Danish but will far exceed your expectations. Also tried the cherry hand pie which looks like a fruit empanata. Very good. The service is spot on. Staff are sociable while bagging your purchases. Store is clean, bright and fresh.
