Cookies are soft and chewy perfection. Great flavor options and topic choices. I recommend that anyone passing through Chincoteague give BYOC a try.

We try to camp at Assateague a few times a year... we've been doing it for almost a decade and always went to Frontier Town for our ice cream treats post-meal (shout out to the Shrimp Boat down the road). This is going to officially be our new spot for desserts. Amazing warm gooey cookies, flavorful creamy ice cream, generous toppings. The warm donut (not pictured) was also amazing, love that they have more than just ice cream, too. Line goes fast, and so does the dessert after you get it hahaha.

I cannot explain how good BYOC is. Check the pic caption for my order. The salty sweet combo is unmatched. MUST TRY.

OMG FOR BYOC (Build Your Own Cookie). Located in West Ocean City, Md. we were lucky enough to be here for their first season. This place sings to my soul! Fresh homemade cookies topped with ice cream and topping (s) of your choice! So many combinations it's sure to please every ice cream and cookie lover in your group! Wonderful, friendly service, s cute selfie area and plenty of smiles around! Kid size cookies with lower pricing too!!

We went to BYOC for an after dinner treat. It was delicious. The cookies were so warm and the ice cream is creamy. You have something for everyone. My kids said it was 5 star I agree. They have outdoor seating and everything was so clean. Highly recommend!

Why oh why did no one ever tell me about this little piece of heaven in the form of tasty ice cream and warm cookie dough. It is off a beaten path across from the tangier outlets in OC headed towards Assateague. You order your dessert as take out and they have benches for you to sit and enjoy. The menu board is displayed on a chalk board and I love how it is broken down by steps for the newbies and the prices were very friendly. I ordered a kids birthday cake with lucky charms on top for my daughter and a snickerdoodle cookie with blueberry cheesecake ice cream with marshmallow whip on top for myself. The cookie was so soft and warm and the ice cream rich but not overly powerful. I am already tasting for another. For both I only paid $8, great price for quality.

This place was a blast to go to with my family. They were busy but we got to relax in their seating area where they had a "mini beach" for kids to play in. Exceptional customer service and they had... wait for it... OAT MILK ICE CREAM! As someone who prefers dairy free and vegan options, I was shocked and was NOT disappointed. I might take a 6 1/2 hour drive to get more. Will be returning next vacation we book at Ocean City, MD.

This is my favorite place for dessert in OC! The staff is quick and so friendly! I recommend the 1 cookie, 1 ice cream, and 1 topping.

We started with a tasting board and chose three cheeses and three meats. It comes with a ton of additional accoutrements. It's a little expensive but worth it to try some fantastic cheese. I didn't love the pasta, the sauce was bland despite the peppery flavor but the scallops were well cooked and definitely the best part of the dish. It's a refreshing change from the typical boardwalk dining experience. The food was outstanding. We especially enjoyed the perfectly seared scallops, rich and flavorful oysters Rockefeller, and a well-prepared steak that was cooked exactly as ordered. The cocktail program was equally impressive, both the martini and Old Fashioned were expertly crafted. As a bourbon and whiskey enthusiast, I particularly appreciated the extensive selection available here. It was nice to find quality whiskey options beyond the sweet, fruity summer cocktails that dominate many Ocean City menus. The service was attentive, the atmosphere was lively yet comfortable, and the overall experience was excellent. Definitely a place we'll return to on future trips.

Why? I truly cannot explain it. But this year? Birthday trip. Solo adventure. No one to stop me from making questionable (but ultimately excellent) life decisions. And that's how I ended up at Dumser's at 5pm on a random March Saturday, fully prepared to eat a gigantic ice cream sundae for dinner. Because I do what I want. I walked in and found a few people happily enjoying their ice cream, keeping things low-key and wholesome...while I approached the counter with a plan to absolutely disrupt the peace. I had my eye on the Peanut Butter Supreme Super Sundae -- three dips of peanut butter fudge ice cream topped with peanut butter topping, hot fudge, Reese's Pieces, whipped cream, and a cherry. A masterpiece. A commitment. A lifestyle choice. My original plan was to order it with just one scoop, pretending to be reasonable. I explained my plan to the very kind gentleman behind the counter, and he gently said, "We can do that, but it'll be almost the same price as the full Super Sundae...we do have lids. Do you have access to a freezer?" Sir. That was all the encouragement I needed. Upgrade me. Immediately. I handed over $13.05 and braced myself for greatness. Moments later, I was holding what can only be described as a mixing bowl-sized sundae, and I have never felt more aligned with my life choices. I found a table, sat down, and dug in with zero hesitation. And let me tell you -- this thing was not just big, it was GOOD. The peanut butter fudge ice cream was rich and creamy, the toppings were generous (shoutout to that employee for not holding back), and every bite felt like a reward for finally making it into Dumser's after literal decades of driving past it. I made it through two scoops and most of the toppings before I had to admit temporary defeat. I returned to the counter, humbled but determined, and asked for a lid. There was absolutely no chance I was letting the rest of that masterpiece go to waste. After a quick break, a little walk, and some fresh ocean air, I finished the rest while watching the sunset just a few blocks away -- which, honestly, felt like the most perfect ending to the most unhinged and delightful dinner choice I've made in a while. I'm slightly embarrassed it took me this long to finally try Dumser's...because WOW, I've been missing out since childhood. Safe to say, this is now a mandatory stop every time I'm in Ocean City from here on out!

We had lots of questions about most of the items as we have never had any Turkish foods before. VERY HELPFUL! Explained everything with great detail and was more than happy to do so. We decided on the Turkish bagel (Simit) and the Ginger Lime Cane beverage along with two different kinds of baklava! One walnut and one pistachio. The drink was very refreshing as the only ingredients were lime, ginger root, and pure sugar cane! All pressed in a special machine. It was sweet but that's pure sugar cane for you! The simit was toasted up and tasted like sesame seed goodness! The baklava was delicious and sticky gooeyness. I enjoyed the walnut more than the traditional pistachio. Though it too was yummy! So many other Turkish goodies to try! She also had other Turkish desserts including the mini cakes and pastries. We will be back as this place has earned a spot on my GO TO list for Ocean City.
