OH how far soccer has come here at WVU. This small stadium which shares a parking lot with the…read moreColosseum, Track, and Baseball Field, is fairly new and well maintained. There is a small concession stand inside selling $5 pretzels and of course pepperoni rolls. No beer though, that's only at the football stadium. Tickets were $5 each and seats were right on top of the action. Parking was free but if there is a football or basketball game in town you may have to move your car after the game is over. Pittsburgh Indoor Sports Arena. PISA, more colloquially. With indoor courts for a variety of sports and fair prices for groups to rent without breaking the bank, PISA is a great venue to have in the area. My coworkers love to play volleyball... and yes, we do have local parks with sand courts.. but it is so nice to plan out when we will play and not have to vehemently watch radar to see if the weather will hold up. PISA rents a volleyball court for 2 hours for $120 - split across 12 of us... it's a steal! The only reason to ding PISA... and it's not really their fault.... but they are trying to sell the facility and have lost all local sponsors and investments. In the past, you'd see all sorts of local companies with banners on the indoor soccer fields and the volleyball courts; now they only had one banner and you can tell that the investment had been used for upkeep in the past.
