This carpet cleaning company is no joke. I seriously thought their response system was AI because the person was so friendly and helpful. EACH & EVERY SINGLE TIME. Jen was remarkable with my questions, concerns, suggestions, budget - you name it - she listened and would offer professional comfort (is there such a thing in carpet cleaning if so this company offers it). Their prices seemed on par with others (and I got alot of quotes) but it was Jen's level of knowledge and understanding that stood out. She quoted me a price but said the tech would assess the situation (while there) and modify the price if he didn't think certain carpet areas needed heavy treatment. The tech Angel was truly a hard working magician. We were both skeptical of the carpet condition but at one point (during phone call) we both said LET'S GO FOR IT. Like we were buddies throwing our last chip on the poker table for one last play. I held my breath for a few hours (while he worked). And oh my freaking goodness... The CARPETS WERE 93%+ BETTER. He was timely, communicative, and very efficient. I wish I had gotten photos of the coffee stain he got out on the mattress! I really appreciated how quickly everything came together. We use Monster once a year for our 25 year old area rugs. They still look brand new! I had the carpet cleaned in one large room. I also had my heating and air conditioning vents cleaned. Finally, I had my dryer vent cleaned. The carpet cleaning went well enough. The HVAC vent cleanings appeared to have gone well (no way to really verify this). And, the dryer vent cleaning went well except after the cleaning the dryer was not heating. We notified Monster about this and the tech came immediately to try and fix it. He failed. I had to engage the service of a washer/dryer repair service who fixed the dryer at a cost of $375.00. The repairman completely dissembled the dryer exposing areas and pockets that were relatively heavily linted. Three electrical components had to be changed out. Speculation is that the moving and tussling of the dryer to facilitate the dryer vent cleaning damaged the dryer parts. Of course, not happy with this situation. The price I paid Monster for the works seemed high to me but I really have nothing to compare the price with. So, in summary, the work itself seemed good. Not happy with the dryer repair situation and the fees I paid were more than I expected to pay. Post-script: within 30 minutes of posting this review I received a call from Monster Steamer volunteering to reimburse me, in full, for the $375.00 cost of my clothes dryer repair. Mind you I did not request or demand a reimbursement, rather Monster Steamer volunteered the payment. I think this action speaks volumes for the business and its owners and managers. Since the work itself provided was otherwise excellent, I hereby change my rating from 4 stars to 5 stars. Thank you Monster Steamer for your courtesy and professionalism in connection with the exceptional and timely resolution of this issue. I will be working with Monster Steamer for future services in the future as the need arises. read more
