I have a travertine shower. Years ago, I used another company to clean and seal my tile and grout, and they were okay but not great. I search and found Tony's Best Way Cleaning. I had them Desoap, Demineral, Clean, Re-caulk and seal my travertine tile in my shower. It came out fabulous. I sent pictures, and they quoted over the phone, and it was easy to set up an appointment. They took care of everything. It has been over a week now and each shower I am so happy I called them. I had a very disappointing experience with Tony's Best way Cleaning. I found them on google & because they are located in La Jolla, I made the assumption that they were "The Best Way". The technician came out to clean 3 area carpets & 3 runners at my home, he stated it would only clean the topside. However, for the best results, he recommended that he take them and clean them professionally on both sides at their store. I let him take them. My carpets came back wrinkled in several areas. I inquired as to how much water they used and he assured me they had not used excessive water. I was informed the ripples would smooth out on their own. They did not. I called customer service to address the issue, he returned & did not remedy the problem. I was told me to fix the rugs myself by placing heavy books on the various wrinkled areas. I did & it failed to fix the problems. I again called. I was told he would return to remedy the situation. As to date, I have neither received a return visit nor a call. I now have damaged rugs, wrinkles & a slight curve to the runners. with a risk of tripping someone. For safety reasons, I have removed 1 runner & will do so with the others. I would not recommend this company. I spent $ 2,410.00, 1,740.00 for the cleaning, $308.00 for fabric guard protection & $670.00 for 3 rug pads. I see no solution other than to buy new ones as it is too cold to walk on my bare hardwood floors. read more

These guys are AMAZING. Look at my before and after pic..... OMG can you believe?!! I bought this Crate and Barrel couch used a year ago and though it already had some stains, I definitely added to the collection. I mean, who hasn't nodded off with a glass of red wine in hand while binge watching their favorite show on their couch? That's totally normal--no big deal. All jokes aside, as you can see, this couch was a f$&cking hot mess. I thought it was just done, however I thought I'd give pro cleaning a shot and luckily for me, I was referred to Tony's from a different upholstery cleaning service (apparently it's really hard to find anyone who cleans wool fabric... most are just synthetic.) So, I call Tony's, explain the situation, email photos, and even then was told these massive stains were likely to not come out. I told them my expectations were nominal, just a cleaning would be ideal. Appointment was scheduled about 10 days out -- and as you can see by my photos, WELL worth the wait. I'm fact, on appointment day, the gentleman came early (when does that ever happen?!) and they were soooo kind-- even helped my mom carry up some luggage as she came in town to visit! They got to working on the couch.... And after about an hour, hour and a half -- they were finished! The cushions are still drying out (hence why photo isn't of full couch) since they had to really get in there but, again, I just had to get this review out! (Note they came less then 24 hours ago.). The price was half of what it should have been--hands down. Ok-- time to wrap this up. Tony's is the BEST. I have been struggling to find any cleaning company who would clean my sisal carpet. I found Tony's Best Way on Google and phoned them. I got Gloria on the phone and she was so pleasant and efficient I was already impressed. James and his team then came to collect the carpet, and on my request they cleaned it off site. When it was returned James arrived and he and his assistant couldn't have been more helpful in replacing it where it belongs, even though they had a very heavy couch to lift. I found Tony's through a web search for "clean my Pottery Barn wool rug." I called and Gloria picked up right away and after talking to her we scheduled a time for pickup. I was disappointed in my first service because I felt talked into getting an on-site cleaning of my two 8x10 wool rugs. I spoke to Gloria and voiced my disappointment. I was glad that she honored the company's satisfaction guarantee and had a different team come pick up the rugs. I just got the rugs back today and I am very pleased with the results! I recommend Tony's because they stuck to their satisfaction guaranteed pledge. And the service of pickup to clean the rugs was exceptional. That being said I wish the first encounter went smoothly. Anyways, I found Tony's Best Way Cleaning on Yelp and called them up. I talked to Gloria and she sent me a text so I can send pictures. She called me back and told me the cost, the cleaning process, info about the fabric, and the probability of getting it clean (mainly due to the fabric). Gloria was super helpful and professional. We had severe etching and staining on our light beige stone countertops. The guys came out and were so knowledgeable and professional! They did a great job in getting the majority of the etching marks out. Unfortunately, since there was so much damage, they couldn't all be removed I don't like to cook and should stick to that because I made dinner and the recipe called for lemon juice... you guessed it... I left it too long on the countertop (a VERY soft form of marble and a light color) and it left a bad etched mark. I'm about to call Tony's again and have them come back out to see if they can remove the new spots. Very fair pricing as well... and I don't think I should cook anymore even though the dinner turned out delicious! read more

UPDATE: I mistakenly had someone who said they could clean my couch attempt the job and they failed miserably. I called up Tony's, they came out the next day and solved the problem. They are without a doubt some of the best in the WORLD at what they do. Their formula is like FABRIC MAGIC and they should honestly be selling it on Amazon. If you have a fabric that needs cleaning you really shouldn't hire anyone else or your wallet may regret it (mine does.) I live in a furnished apartment with a seemingly expensive mattress which my Great Dane peed on 4-5 times (at some point I stopped counting) and I was very stressed out. I called a bunch of places and no one could really help me, some dry cleaners can but you have to get them the mattress, it's a hassle, wasn't sure they could even do it. Then I found Tony's. They came in with their cleaning protocols and their own cleaning liquids that they make themselves, and they fixed it. This thing was SOAKED, my dog is a Great Dane she can hold a lot of pee. I was referred to Tony's by another carpet cleaning business because I have area rugs with vinyl flooring. Tony's doesn't use a steam cleaning process which can dampened the flooring underneath. So the rugs do not have to be removed to be cleaned. Gabe and Michael came out on time. Both were very polite and efficient. I had (2) 8x10, one 9x10 and one 8x11 rug with a 10x2 runner. It took them almost 2 hrs to clean the carpets. I had a grease stain in the dining room rug which, to my disbelief, was removed( although it took the rug almost 4 days to dry). I do think $1034 was a bit overpriced, Thank goodness I didn't get the 3 M guard. But they gave me a military discount of $104. I was very pleased with the service and the technicians, just taken back with the price. read more

I phoned on a Friday and was scheduled for a carpet cleaning the following Monday. It just so happened that Gabe (the technician for the job) was available two hours earlier than my scheduled appointment (which was not a problem). I had awful stains running from the front door of my apartment into the dining room and was a little sketchy that he would be able to clean them up successfully. Reason being is that the company my leasing office uses to clean our carpets never gets rid of the stains even after a week; the yucky tracks always resurface. So a week after I promised to leave a review the stains are still gone and my carpets never looked or felt better to walk on. Gabe let me know that the doormat we used was a big reason for the gnarly stains so it was replaced hours after.
