    Strawberry Hibiscus yummm

This bubble tea place is located inside PIKE Kitchen. Cute mini shop, with delicious pastries showcased. The menu, has a lot of cool options from what is pictured, however it would be very helpful to have better descriptions, so I know exactly what's in my drink. Only one employee running the show, Im sure it can be overwhelming. Taking orders and then having to make a lot of drinks. Prices are a little expensive for what you get. I ordered Strawberry Hibiscus tea, it wasn't as sweet as I anticipated. Male employee was ok. I hope the owner or mgmt of this place gets additional help. I might return to try the pastries.

They have quality boba, especially their slushes. Heavily recommend the jolly pong slush (like an oaty Korean cereal). The two owners are sweet

The selection of sweets and teas is overwhelming. Do I want Bubble tea, ice cream, pastries, snow, milk tea..... so far never disappointed. Today I had oolong peach tea with milk and bubbles. Deliciously creamy with a fruity peach undertone. Just what I needed I a cold grey afternoon.

So happy to find a yummy bingsoo place! Really loved the injeolmi one. There was puffed rice, two types of mochi, and almonds. The texture was so good and the powder was layered throughout. It wasn't too sweet either which I enjoyed. The mango bingsoo was much sweeter but I loved the jelly. The mango sorbet or whatever was soo good as well. The two was perfect for 5 people.

Quite tasty bubble tea! I always grab one whenever I'm in Pike Kitchen * My favorite is the dirty horchata tea - it tastes quite cinnamon-y. The lychee pineapple is also well-flavored (make sure to order the fruit bits) * The matcha strawberry and taro taste ok as well * Personally I don't like the matcha rose since it tastes a bit perfume-y

Distant memory of taro...where's the bomb?!

I ordered the taro coconut bomb and assumed it came with all the toppings shown in the advertised tv screen, but I assumed wrong. The flavor is weak and I barely tasted any taro let alone coconut. The "bomb" is lost on me. With so many other options in Rockville, I would not get boba here if all their drinks are this bland as some others have said. My drink was over $7 too for some light purple slushee that tasted mostly like water

I ordered original milk tea, no added sugar and there was legit added sugar. I've got milk tea with no added sugar here before. Guy didn't want to redo the milk tea and said that the milk tea already comes sweet -bs- Whats the point of the different sugar levels?

Their mochi donuts are hard and stale. The ice cream and cakes are mid. Do not recommend

The jasmine has a very clean floral simple taste. The amber milk tea has a thicker sweet taste…read more Both are good. Boba is a great texture. I enjoyed this tea. The place is clean and smells great from the waffles I think. Not too many milk tea options but the boba and drinks are good so I'll let it slide. The boba lowkey took a while to prepare on the day we came tho. I'm not upset since we weren't in a rush but I was a little surprised. I'm not upset tho and it's my first time here so I can't say that always happens. My friends and I are convinced they used ai for the mural tho lol

Overall: Cuppa Tea was a hit for me in both boba and egg waffle, definitely give both a try!…read more Food: The drinks here were great, a clear and clean tea taste in the boba. Definitely a preference so try one before you go all in. The food itself was kind of hit or miss, but when it hit it really hit. The butter burger and fish balls were alright in my opinion. Some nostalgia, but overall nothing too fancy. The egg waffles were really cool, I got a pudding filled one, and I'm definitely a big fan. They had a lot of other options too for the egg waffle, I will be back to try others. Service: The service was average for a small shop, seems like there is only 1 person working when I got there so they were doing everything from taking orders to making the food. Depending on time of day it might take longer for your order to be ready. Ambiance: The inside was decorated well and had some fun elements near the front door. Aside from decorations the interior was pretty normal, some seating inside for groups of 4.

This is one of the little Cafe near by the hotel we stayed when we went to Maryland recently…read more The place is pretty cute, bright and airy. Some seatings were comfy (the ones in the back) and the others was a bit hard. Most of the pastries are in the middle with sweet ones on one side and savoys on the other. The price was really reasonable. I saw so many savoy ones I would love to try if I ever visit at BF time. I saw they have Cronut (Croissant and Donut in one). I had had Cronut in Vegas (at the Paris Hotel), but the ones here looked a little different so I wanted to try. Mistake. It was extremely greasy. The oil soaked through the paper plate and I had to squeeze the pieces I cut with napkins to get as much oil out as possible. I would give it a 2 star, it would have been good if not so oily. The egg tarts on the other hand deserved a 5 star. Love it. The latte tasted fine, but it took them a while to make it (almost 10 mins) and served in the normal paper cup, I was hoping for a nice latte art since it took so long. Overall it is a wonderful place to sit around and enjoy some quiet time, just don't get the cronut unless they cut down on the oil...

UPDATE: The last few times I've been here it just hasn't been as good. The food options have faded…read moreand the drinks have just been okay. The tofu steam bun -- easily my favorite lunch item in the area -- really didn't work. It's still an interesting experience but I really can't recommend a place I now avoid. --- PROS - Interesting selection, interesting food, lots of options, overall friendly staff. - Bathrooms were clean. The interior of the restaurant seemed like a good meeting/date spot. Although they had Wifi, I wouldn't call this a great place to come and study or get work done, although I saw people doing that. I've had the Vietnamese coffee twice, the first time was great, the second time was just okay. Food items are very unique, so much so I didn't like some of them but I still enjoyed the experience. Try something that sounds weird, it's half the fun of coming in here. CONS * Allergies - it wasn't clear what all everything was made with so if you're trying to avoid gluten or peanuts or eggs, I didn't see much on ingredients. I know for some people that's a red flag. * The tea. We just thought it was above average but not amazing. I mean its right in the name, come on. * Collecting items - you gotta look for the little trays and the salad tongs. That's what you use to grab stuff out of the cases. I know for most people that was super obvious but it wasn't for me. * Summertime note: during the hotter months I've noticed they seem to have some issues with keeping things cool.
