There are different flavors of yogurt which you self-serve and then choose from a wide assortment of toppings. I did not really pay close attention but there had to be 15-20 different choices at least, including candies, nuts, coconut, and then chocolate sauce at the end. The store was clean and well organized. After you get done assembling what you want, it is weighed at the cashier. The whole operation is pretty efficient. We attended a friend's kids birthday party here on a Sunday before noon, their actual opening hours. It's got the standard froyo flavors with LOTS of topping options. There's even a small playscape for kids...a bit tiny so it can get pretty crowded very quickly. There's also some indoor seating but not a whole lot. The event space in the rear is a decent size for the kids where you can have two tables set up but any more than 20 would be pushing it. Stopped by on a random weekday with the kids in tow. This spot is perfect for the kids! Everything from the decoration to the small play area to the way the toppings are set up like candy store dispensers. We got 3 cups and with the toppings it came to right under $18. The quality of yogurt was on par with other froyo spots. The only thing I'd recommend is a little cleaning up of the location. When we went there was a random UPS box along with some scratches on the wall / paint. Reminded me a little of an old pediatric dental office (oh the irony of a spot serving LOTS of sugar looking like a dentist office!!). The woman working the register was friendly enough and told us to enjoy our "creation" which was a cool touch for the kids! We'd definitely stop by if we are in the area again. This place looked so fun online... but walking in was like stepping into a yogurt graveyard. Completely empty, no music, no energy, just awkward silence and disappointment. The employees didn't even acknowledge us when we walked in. No "hi," no smile, nothing. Just blank stares like we'd interrupted their day. The yogurt "selection" was a joke. Maybe 5-10 flavors total, and most were just sherbet pretending to be yogurt. The toppings were sad, unlabeled, and so limited it felt like they'd given up halfway through setting up the bar. Nothing here looked fresh or inviting, it screamed "bare minimum effort." The staff made it worse. The cashier was painfully awkward, and the other employee nearly ran us over dragging some giant machine through the store. Honestly, the whole vibe was uncomfortable, like we weren't supposed to be there. The yogurt itself? Awful. So bad we threw it straight in the trash and drove to Yogurtland, where, surprise!, we got more variety, better quality, and way more for less money. Playscape was fun for littles but half of it was out of order...so, it could be a bit boring if your kid is over the age of 6...but still better than no playscape! The price seems a little high .45/oz Expect to pay between $5-$8 per cup depending on many factors (toppings& amount of yogurt) For those who do not understand ounces that comes to $7.20 per pound. Another yogurt shop "yogurtland" here in Dallas charges on .35/oz. Which for us came out to be about a $2-$3 less per cup of yogurt. Their cost may be higher because of their "green" initiative aka Earth Friendly! They have fewer yogurt machines than many of the other shops we have visited; equals less flavor options. Also, so far every time we have been they have had the same flavors, but they just opened-- And we have been several time in the first week of opening. When will we see different flavors or how about "new flavor of the week"? One cool thing I have not remembered seeing anywhere else is that they can "blend" your cup to make it like a shake! They have a big play area for kids. Great for kids; takes up a lot of space of seating areas and equipment. Seems to me more geared to kids! FYI for those of you who don't have kids Looks like they are trying to make money on "parties and events" Looks to be a closed of room that you can use for parties. Seating is scarce. Having visited MY several times over the past couple of years I continue to enjoy this place and stand my my previous 4 star review. They have a good, though limited, selection of yogurts with some rotation of flavors. Their selection of toppings is excellent with several crunchy options which I like. You can even add hot fudge and whipped cream to your bowl - how did I ever miss this? While MY is a great place for families with small kids, it can get a bit noisy at times. When that happens, weather permitting, I opt to sit outside and enjoy the view. Other times I have gotten my yogurt to go. The only downside is that it makes going back for a reorder a pain. Monster Yogurt hosted my son's 4-year old Soccer Team "end-of-season" party today. Our entire team gives Monster Yogurt... FIVE STARS!!! And I'll tell you why.... First of all, the communication and responsiveness is TOP NOTCH. I usually contact Monster Yogurt via Facebook (love that they are up-to-date on all forms of communication nowadays!) and they promptly responded within a few hours every time! The manager, Ava, was thoughtful and went above and beyond to make our sports party special. She asked me to email her our team's logo and team colors. And upon arrival, there was a welcome sign with our logo displayed and balloons in our team's colors (enough for each boy to take home a balloon). The kids loved that. :) Secondly, they have a party room available for FREE! It comfortably sat 16 kids but there was also standing room and folding chairs available too. So we had a space available to privately give speeches and hand out trophies. They had really cool green stools for the kids to sit in and a cool picture of the "scary" monster yogurt guy painted on the wall. Great for photos. Third, there is an awesome play area, perfect for our 4-year-olds! I would compare it to a "Chick-fil-A" play area, it's a comparable size. The kids had a blast running around climbing, wrestling, playing, laughing. So much fun! Fourth, the yogurt was a very fair price. You pay buy the weight. If you choose the right portion size, you will not pay an exorbitant amount of money here. I grabbed the smallest bowls they offer (about the size of a small cereal bowl) and both of my sons filled their bowl about halfway with frozen yogurt. They chose a fat free cake batter and a chocolate chip one. Then came the toppings... there are granolas, dried fruit, sprinkles, candies, fresh fruit, all sorts of items to choose from. Both my kids chose nerds and gummy bears and sour worms and M&M's and we helped them put the toppings on top. Our total for the two yogurts was $6 and some change. The kids loved the "ice cream" and squealed with delight as they ate their sweets and got to hang out in such a fun place with their buddies. Fifth, Monster Yogurt gives back to our community. 100% of the profit from the sale of coffee goes to a local charity that has direct impact on East Dallas. That's amazing!! They also have the private party room available for sports teams (like ours) and they will decorate for you in your team colors. They can even display team photos on their flat screen TV! All for the minimal price of yogurt. You.CANNOT.beat.that!! Lastly, there is a very cool "lounge area" that the parents hung out in. It also has free Wifi! I highly recommend this venue as a spot for sports or birthday parties (I would think 15 kids maximum to be comfortable), or an after-school treat, or somewhere fun to take the kids on a hot summer day to burn off steam in somewhere air-conditioned. Or somewhere warm in the winter. Also great if you just need to escape and do some work in the Wifi area and sip some coffee. Remember the profit from coffee sales, go to charity! Monster Yogurt is an excellent place for young families with kids! Our son has a blast here and gets so excited to play in their playscape. It is clean and disinfected regularly so we feel great about having him play here. The yogurt is top notch, including the large array of assortment. All of the fruit is fresh and the utensils and precautions during this pandemic are above and beyond (single use gloves for dispensing yogurt, fresh utensils for each topping, hand sanitizer dispenser for all, etc). The owner has placed special attention to detail throughout her store and the unified Monster theme very excellent. We plan on having our sons birthday party here for a safe and private event! read more

I've had this place bookmarked for a while and have been meaning to try it. Today finally worked out to go, so a coworker (also a lover of froyo, although I'm not yet convinced that she's of my calibre of obsessed with the substance) and I decided to bite the bullet. Our first impression was both impressed and excited, because there was a full (kid-sized, mind you) indoor playground! After we got over how jelly we were, we moved on to the important stuff. Definite disappointment on number of froyo flavors offered. Eight, maybe ten max (I was so disappointed that I forgot to count.) And, of the ones that were offered several of the flavors were a little too out there for having not much else to choose from. Maple Bacon Donut? Chipotle Pineapple? Euro Tart? That's all well and good if you have 16+ flavors to choose from. On to the toppings. I give them a solid, good when it comes to topics selection. But, and there's always a but, the majority of them were in those containers attached to the wall that you have to turn the crank at the bottom to get the toppings to come out. So it's kind of this all or nothing type of concept. So if you only want a little bit, you're kind of screwed. Plus if you're a froyo artist like myself, and like to pile yogurt upon toppings upon yogurt and more toppings the containers are way too close to the little tray underneath for you to be able to get everything that you want to stay on your yogurt. And there's not even a chance to use the three second rule because the tray underneath the container has holes in it like a sieve that swallows up the overflow that falls off of your creation! So frustrating. The girl at the counter was nice, I'll give her that much. The decor was cute and they totally kept with the whole monster theme. So we weighed and paid for our froyo and decided to sit down to enjoy it. Then we found the seating was somewhat peculiar. There were loveseat sized sofas (sort of) with a small little table in front of them. Then there were other small tables with one oddly small little squatty stool-like seat in front of each one. Yes, you heard me correctly, one seat per table. Our synopsis was that even with the affordable price of $.45 per ounce it was not worth going to Monster Yogurt over YogurtLand. Dallas county has a mandatory mask rule for business and they aren't allowed to let people in without them. Monster had a sign on the door saying masks required. At 3:30 today, the young man working there a man inside. He spoke to the worker behind the counter. Almost like they knew each other. He went to the men's room. Then he sat down in chairs near the entrance. He had not purchased anything. Not only was he not required to wear a mask, but looked like he hadn't had clean clothes or a shower in months. THERE IS A MASK MANDATE AND YOU VIOLATED IT. THERE IS A FINE FOR THAT. Response to your reply: You have a sign posted that all customers entering must wear a mask. I left when I saw the man with out a mask allowed inside and to the restroom and to sit inside with no food. It's not up to me to search for a phone number to Callie you. Your website has no contact information for emailing. I did my part trying to save your business. I bought yogurt. But left when unmasked customer was allowed inside.
