Had an amazing week of skiing with the family!…read more For a first time skiing in Canada we all agreed this was a good choice. Plenty of terrain for advanced skiing which most of our party was. There are plenty of beginner slopes close by if you are unsure if your little ones are right for hear. I don't typically stop for lunch but I could not help myself in going back time and time again to grab a chili to warm up and thaw out. Loved seeing the fresh baked goods at the top lodge, i can safely say I stayed away from them. Mid week parking very manageable. P2 & P3 lots very close for walking to the access lift. I took a hard slip and fall on the ice so be sure not to take long strides while going through the parking lot. Lift lines were a breeze all week, even on Saturday with the Duncan lift down. Longest I ever waited was 20 minutes on the edge lift, and that was because the lifties did not do a good job clearing snow under the chairs so everyone kept loosing their skis. I bounced around in the singles line and in my group of four and both moved very well. I would absolutely come here again, there is plenty of places to stay around the area so arriving on a Saturday night to ski Sunday is very doable.

There's quite a bit of wind on the lake and when we were there, it was blowing toward the shore on the village side. Our kayaking only got us out past the anchored boats so we wanted to see the rest of the lake by boat. The friendly crew consists of captain Yves and Pierre and Julie who handles payments. You can purchase tickets while boarding the boat where Julie will complete your purchase with an iPad and Square. It takes just 30 seconds. However, if you buy your tickets online, you will get a bit of a priority to choose the upper deck. The covid rules are that passengers must wear their mask at all times and must not change decks once assigned. If passengers order a drink they must be seated in order to drink it because they would take their mask off. Toilets are not for heavy duty use so go to the bathroom before the cruise. If they run out of space on the upper deck there's only room for eight people on the bottom deck outside. In order to secure a spot you must show up at least 30 minutes before departure, otherwise you'll end up sitting indoors on the bottom deck. The bottom deck is open and when traveling in the direction of the wind, it can get pretty chilly depending on the season so definitely bring a wind breaker! There's both an audio track narration in English and French as well as by the captains about the lake Tremblant. You'll learn a bit of the lake and the region's history. The boat goes almost to the secluded northern end of the lake to view the sleeping giant's head before turning around. The cruise offers a great view of the mountains surrounding the lake and an exclusive peak at the multi-million dollar mansions nestled along the mountains surrounding the lake. I think this cruise would also be really great in the fall with all the mountains in their autumn glory.

This is a ski lodge in the winter, and the room we had was big enough for four people, with two bathrooms, fireplace, and a nice view of the lake. It also had an outfitted kitchen, with full refrigerator.

We came up on a Friday & we're supposed to go snow mobiling, but it was an unseasonably warm day with rain so we had to reschedule for the next day. Instead, we checked out the local ski town which was super cute, and only 20 minutes away. Then, we returned to partake in the 'happy hour' spa, 2 for 1 to partake in their package of: dry sauna, eucalyptus 'bath' (really just wet sauna with eucalyptus scent) and then the outdoor hot tubs. This was a truly relaxing experience & something I would highly suggest - solely for the outdoor hot tub experience! Incredibly remote and romantic On Saturday we participated in snow mobiling, and were alone with a tour guide. This was an AWESOME experience, 3 hours of endless trails to explore as fast as you please. Up hills, downhills, great views. That evening we did the happy hour spa again, then headed to dinner. I was pleasantly surprised with the restaurant on site. It's a bit pricey, but the meals were great and stuffed us. The service was great too, for the most part. On our last day we did dog sledding - my most favorite activity. They allow you to spend as much time with the dogs as you like, all 115 of them. Puppies too! Dog sledding was actually pretty exhausting and a great workout, and the dogs seem to love it. So great. I'd highly suggest this place to those looking to have endless activities at their fingertips! Only downfall is that the rooms are dated, and can be pretty far from the central area where all the activities are. Plus the indoor hot tub wasn't working at the time, which was a bit of a bummer.

When I was there it was one lady covering at the front desk and she was fluent in both French and English, great for us tourists haha. Dining was offered by a chef but my family brought and bought a lot of food already. They have a prix fixe menu as well as a la carte. Service is 24/7 also (room service included). Cool. Definitely come by in warmer months and when the lake isn't frozen over. I'm sure there are a lot more things to do then. Although the snowflakes here were pretty; they were in actual snowflake formation, unlike the clumps you see elsewhere!

Unfortunately Canada boarder had some issue with my Covid-19 test date so I couldn't make it across the boarder. With that said, I had to cancel the booking on the same day. I tried calling but it was after hours so I sent email instead. The hotel staff was very understanding and professional by responding back to me the next morning and helping with the cancellation and refund. They were very considerate and inviting me back when the situation becomes better. I will definitely book them if I go back there. Well, I decided - she'd never been to one before and I was really hoping for a good one. Initially we were planning on going to Scandinave at Tremblant but my neighbour was like 'if you don't want to pay 60$ and you want something with fewer people, check out Le Geyser." And I'm sooooo glad we did, Le Geyser was just perfect for us. Le Geyser is just 10 minutes past St Jovite, and the map marker on Google is currently wrong so either map from here on Yelp or follow the directions on their website. Also note: reservations are required. We were able to call and reserve 40min before showing up so I don't think you'll have a problem getting a spot, and I like the idea that the owner is interested in keeping the place peaceful and not overcrowded. The owner is an awesome woman who welcomed us kindly, a little shy with her English but willing to help my cousin understand the benefits of the infrared spa, the salt water hot tubs, etc. She moved quietly throughout the space while we were there keeping the fire lit and gently checking in - a really comforting presence in this beautiful homey space. My favourite aspects were the hot sauna, the cold salt water pool with waterfall, sitting by the fire and watching the river through the spectacular autumn leaves. There is a gorgeous shared kitchen here and 4 rooms for rent so I totally want to organize a tiny getaway here. The water course is super affordable- 29$ with tax- and the change rooms, showers and relaxation areas were all simple, lovely and completely calm. I would love to see the hot tubs upgraded someday to be more like the beautiful stone-circled cold pool, less with the foam and plastic, but honestly they were super relaxing, perfect temperature, lovely view. I look forward to coming back for a massage soon!!

We had 5 people and they were able to accommodate us all. They were very attentive although a small language barrier. I don't speak French. But a warm friendly environment and a fantastic massage. Just what we needed after a few days of skiing! We started in a small sauna for about 20 min, then went outside for the hot tubs (about 5 degrees f outside) so getting in the hot tubs was fabulous. There were two hot tubs... nothing fancy but relaxing...The views were beautiful and being outside was refreshing. After the tubs we went into the large sauna which was warming to the soul, then tried the cold outdoor shower (but it was so cold it was frozen) totally understandable in this weather... so we went inside and had cold showers, then we relaxed with hot tea and in a warm and peaceful room in zero gravity chairs. Our group was me and my best friend and our teenage/ young adult kids. They enjoyed the experience too. I read that Some of the other spas in the area don't allow talking so this was a great choice for our group as we wanted to spend tome together and have fun. I would bring flip flops, a bathrobe and towel if you go. There are lockers with showers and changing rooms too
