First big shout out to our guide and raft guide J MONEY…read more(and Tim)! We had a 10/10 experience. Definitely, one of our family's favorite experiences!! We got the wet suits and booties which was only like $7/person total. I'd highly recommend getting it. Kept us warm. We did that Level 3-4. My kids are 16 and 19 and loved every bit and want to do it again. I felt like the level 3-4 was doable though we had some close calls. Out of the 6 raft's no one went over. Theses guides are skilled. The time is exhilarating and serene at the same time. You get to to tip your guide after. We also choose to get a digital photo which the photographer does an incredible job capturing our moments. After you get to enjoy some of the best hot chocolates in town or coffee. This establishment is legit. It's a bit pricey after everything is done but so worth the experience with the family!

It's a rush and the scenery is beautiful, but what truly makes this trip seamless is the team. The staff booking everything does an amazing job. The pros that keep everyone safe are so knowledgeable and fun, and the team leads keep it all moving and keep smiles on everyone's faces. If you're coming to big sky or West Yellowstone, add this to your list of must do's!

The path to the waterfall is also paved with asphalt so it's a smooth walk up and great for strollers. There are two vault toilets at the parking lot, and a small picnic area near the entrance of the parking lot. This is an amazing waterfall. Water cascades down a columnar basalt face so it's particularly stunning. I've seen amazing columnar basalt formations (Devils Tower, Devils Postpile), but none with a water element. It's very memorable. I saw some people trying to scramble up the rocks to get to the top of the waterfall, but I'm not sure how safe that is. From satellite photos it looks like there's just forest up there anyways.

All the way up is paved which makes the experience nicer and easier, if you're not looking to break a leg going up haha. The sunset up there are amazing and all pictures are Instagram worthy!!! I took my 70 year old grandma and she enjoyed the hike and even made it from start to finish. The ride there is a bit intense with many curves so I'd recommend to take a bag for those that may get car sick. I'll be coming back to Montana, just for this beauty!
