In the last few months we've had Red's repair our hydrolic pistons and our brackets for the topper on our truck and replacement headlights that were very difficult to access on our Jeep Grand Cherokee. They did a fantastic job, quickly while we waited, and were very fair with the price. It's the first time in a long time that we've had automotive work done where we felt that we weren't overcharged. Reds towed my daughters car from Her apartment complex as she left to come home from UM for winter break. The apartment complex confirmed that they did not authorize the tow. Because she was gone for a month and we weren't notified of the tow we had to pay $2000 to retrieve her car. Shame on this company for taking advantage of out of state college students read more

Paul from Reds Towing was sent out by AAA to give us a tow. When Paul arrived he asked what issues we were having. After listening carefully Paul asked if he could try something out before hooking up our vehicle. After a few taps on the "new" starter replaced the day previous we tried the ignition and the car turned over immediately! Red's Towing really saved our day! We woke up to a flat tire and of course we didn't have the key for the locking lug nuts. AAA had trouble locating our campsite but luckily the local driver (I think his name was David, not sure) found it without a problem. He showed up earlier than expected with his wife, and was very friendly and professional. Because of the locking lug nut issue, we had to search for a place that could help us. Oh, and did I mention this was a Sunday and also July 3rd? Holiday weekend but he went above and beyond. Drove us around to Costco, Walmart, a car rental place, and finally Les Schwab where we left the car. He also called several tire places to ask whether they can help us. This just in...all of the stuff below happened. I waited for Monica, who I think is the owner to call me back as the lady told me she would. When she didn't I called her and shocker...she had no idea what I was talking about and had received no message to call me. SILVER LINING, Monica heard me out, took down my information and refunded the over charges. She made it right which was great. Not professional business at all. My rental car got towed on Wednesday night - I was totally in the wrong, so that's ok - I called them on Thursday AND Friday to see if they had my car. "No" was the answer both times. Because it was a rental On Star wouldn't do a locate unless I reported it stolen and had a police report. Which I did on Sunday evening and On Star said the car was at Reds Towing. WTF...So they did have my car and they charged me for 4 days and there was no one there who had the authority to wave those charges as it was their mistake. Really really disappointing to feel like you're being held hostage and royally taken advantage of. read more

If I could give Dre from Red's Towing more than 5 stars I would. Our car threw a rod 20 miles east of Missoula on I-90. Geico got Red's to tow us. It was the 4th of July, but Dre arrived within half an hour. We had no idea where to take the car so he called his personal mechanic, towed us to the shop (which was closed), then took us to a motel. He gave us his number in case we needed help the next day. We did, because his mechanic didn't return our calls. So Dre called his mechanic again and got us sorted. On top going above and beyond what he was paid to do, he was friendly, efficient, and very pleasant company. read more

Suggested a mechanic, dropped the car off and took us to a motel. Then, offered to help us the next day if he could as we were stranded in Missoula without a car. I scheduled an appointment with Reds towing to get my car towed. When I Left my house I had light clothing on. It was chilly but not very cold. When Reds towing could not find were I was parked they decided to give up and not call to notify me. I would have called them except my cell phone was broken and could only receive calls. After waiting an hour it got very cold, so I crawled into my immobilized car to try to keep warm. Unfortunately for me my car broke down by the train tracks so I looked pretty suspicious at this point. After about two hours of waiting the police showed up surrounding me. They made me get out of my car and put my hands on the hood of one of the police cars. After telling them that I was waiting for Reds they laughed saying it was a typical Reds move. They called Reds for me, and about a half hour later they finally showed up. The driver was a smart ass upon his arrival. He grinned asking me, "how long have you been here". After telling him a couple of hours he said, "No, I mean Missoula". I would not recommend supporting this company by any means. read more

Our RV stopped on an I90 on-amp 25 miles east of Missoula. The manufacturer called Reds Towing and arranged for the RV to be towed to the dealer in Missoula. Bernie, the experienced and capable tow operator, got the RV to the dealer and then assisted myself, my wife and our friend find a good hotel room. We are all seniors who could have been stranded. Bernie and Reds turned a potentially bad situation into a positive experience. We are now continuing our trip to Glacier, thanks to Bernie and Reds. read more

If I could... I wouldn't even leave one star. This place is the absolute worst towing company in Missoula. First, it cost me $165 to have my truck towed one and a half blocks. Then, the people working the front desk were completely rude and not friendly at all. Once I got to my truck, my seat was moved all the way back, the seat was leaned back and things I had sitting on the dash board were moved to the passenger seat. After driving off I realized they had turned my four wheel drive on, which of course is not good for my truck on dry roads. So, not only do they charge up the butt prices, have terrible customer service, they broke into my car for who knows what reason. And when I called to confront them they told me to have a nice day and hung up on me. Real classy people. DONT EVER GO HERE. read more

Went out with a couple friends for a reunion on a Friday night. My car was towed by Red's. My friend's was towed by Sparr's. Regardless of making the right call in leaving the car downtown after an evening at the bars, they were removed for Farmer's Market early the next morning. The City of Missoula and Farmer's Market manager were both ill-informed of who does the towing and both told me that "they just move them a couple blocks away." Furthermore, once I had gathered a little information that Red's moved the car, their phone answering service in Kalispell had no idea where the car would have been towed, who did the towing, or when the local office opens in the morning. What incredible incompetency. It cost me $175.00 to get my car out of Red's impound yard, when it wasn't even there for a couple hours. It cost my friend $35 to get his car back from Sparr's. It must be a wonderful business to be able to hold property hostage, treat it terribly, and charge what you please. I know who I'll call when I have car trouble. read more

Rudest and most unprofessional customer service I have ever dealt with. Was hostile from the very beginning of the first call, refused to provide service to my apartment complex which contracts with them to tow vehicles out of assigned spaces and employee refused to give me the name of her supervisor and hung up on me. The police even told her to tow a vehicle out of a handicap space, she lied and said that they she never received the call, despite the fact that I was there and witnessed the officer make the call. When I once again called to ask the name and phone number of her supervisor to complain she hung up on me repeatedly and my sent my calls straight to voicemail. Worst customer service I have ever dealt with in my entire life. If I could give zero stars I would I have never literally never dealt with a customer service rep in my life that was so rude and no one should ever give this company their business. read more
