It…read morewas marketed as a Best Western but showed up as a La Quinta in my receipt. it is indeed a Best Western though, at least as of July 2020. This was a nice hotel. The rates were good for the areas and it was about a 40 min drive to Glacier National Park. The location is on the more industrial side of town. It is located right next to a recycling center. If you have an even # room you will face it. We stayed in 329 and had a nice view of the mountains. Check in was smooth. All the front desk employees were very nice and helpful. They were wearing masks (during Covid) and there was a plastic screen in front of the register. The room was clean and large. Everything worked well. The front desk provided breakfast, they gave you a list of things and you could ask for whatever you wanted. I saw 2 housekeepers during our stay and neither were wearing masks in the guests rooms which I didn't prefer. Bring quarters if you want to do laundry. There was 1 washer and 2 dryers. The king bed was very soft, too soft, we sank in a lot. The pool was closed during our stay due to Covid. Overall it was a good stay.

No disruptions from the plant but it gave us a bit of an 'Oh no.....' when we pulled in. Once you're inside you forget it's even there. Thought it was closer to Glacier Park. It's not terribly far but after a 5 hour drive that day, the extra 40 mins to GP was more than my elderly mom could do so we missed out altogether.

Suggestions for Glacier were appreciated! The park entrance 10 minutes away! We were able to arrive at 5:30 AM, avoid the " ticket entry" requirement, get a great parking spot at Avalanche Lake, hike it and back to car by 8:15! Avoided all crowds! We brought pizza and beer back to the cabin front porch and enjoy the ambiance of cabin living. Yes, it is right off the highway, so yes, a little noisy, but we seriously couldn't pass up the price! A wonderful couple who own the place, for over 20 years, trying to provide a comfortable place to stay, while maintaining a price that is more affordable for families! Thank you for a great stay! This is a hidden gem of a place and really reasonably priced. Due to some construction right now,…read moreit was a bit hard to find, but I got there. It's tucked in behind a RV site and a trailer park. It looks like a mountain lodge and when you get in, the lobby is fully of stuffed wildlife. The room I was in was huge. Their numbering system is a little weird, so watch out, you may have walked passed your room, I did! I think that it's a converted care facility of some sort. My room had a couple of emergency buttons like you see in hospitals. They serve a really decent breakfast and it looks like there is a full kitchen. The bed was really comfortable and I think they have the best hotel pillows I have ever experienced. The front doors are locked at night (11 PM I think), but there is a buzzer to have someone open the door. If I am ever in the area again, this would be my first choice of a place to stay.
