No complaints about this hotel. It was clean, comfortable and service was friendly. They warned us at check in that housekeeping only comes through every 2 or 3 days, so let them know if you need something (fresh towels, etc). They did a great job cleaning and freshening the place up when they did come through... but no refills on the coffee packets or water - the front desk is very happy to help and give you the items though (just be aware). We enjoyed our stay at the Hampton Inn in Whitefish. Super friendly staff at the front desk. As I walked by after checking in, the woman at the desk offered me warm cookies fresh from the oven. We got to talking with an employee named Morgan, and he was wonderful with providing info about Glacier, stargazing, the local area, etc. The woman working at breakfast was wonderful. She kept everything well stocked and was very friendly with us and other guests. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Fresh fruit salad! When traveling, we never seem to get enough fresh fruit, so this was a welcome surprise. Also, two waffle makers, hard boiled eggs, omelet eggs with veggies, sausage, fried potatoes, and all the other typical stuff. The woman working there kept the tables cleared and clean. It was all well organized. Our room was spacious and comfortable, although the mattress was clearly old and needs to be replaced. This was one of the most pleasant stays I have ever had in a budget hotel. I was worried that there would be competition for the courtesy shuttle, and so called ahead to "book" it for dinner. The shuttle driver was there ready and waiting for us when we arrived to check in, and patient as we changed for dinner. He was friendly and chatty about the different local spots, and clear about instructions on calling for a pick-up and ride back to the hotel. Our room was spacious - seriously, almost as big as a studio you'd pay $$$ for in SF - and clean. We had a great night's rest without hearing any neighbors or dogs. There are dog bag dispensers outside and well-kept lawns. In the morning, the complimentary breakfast is standard, but what stood out was how frequently the staff checked and restocked food. I'm certainly going to prioritize Hampton Inns in the future after this positive experience. read more

Nice and new looking hotel located in Whitefish, MT with easy access to Kalispell or Glacier National Park. Parking is free and plentiful. I liked being able to use the digital key on the Hilton app! Didn't have to stop by the front desk to check in or out! Free breakfast opens at 6 AM and was actually already set up when I went down a few minutes before 6! Business center looked brand new and the computers and printers worked seamlessly. I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again if visiting the area! read more

Very nice hotel. Staff was nice and the place was very clean. I think they had a flood on the first floor at some point because down the hall it looks like there is signs of water damage they are fixing. Room was very nice and super clean. The breakfast wasn't good. The bacon was beyond paper thin and burnt and the egg Pocket they had was not very flavorful. The bagel I had was stale. I booked and paid for this Hotel for a week. I sure wish I had not. First, my floor was extremely dirty. I asked housekeeping to take care of it and she handed me a mop and spray cleaner. . When I tried to relay the actions of the staff to the front desk, she also dismissed my concern with a helpless attitude. The next day, Matt personally came to my room and cleaned the floor properly. One morning at breakfast, I had to throw away rotten oranges. I mean they were white and furry with mold. They should have never been put out in the first place. When I addressed this with the staff, she seemed shocked and acted like they had come like that out of the box? They were so soft the fruit was falling apart, so there is no way someone picked that up recently and placed it in the basket. The bananas the day before were black as coal. The toasting machine was broken and only one element worked. My last evening was a nightmare. Lots of screaming, laughing, banging, and all out rude people in the room next to me. I called the desk and the lady was very dismissive of my complaint. I called back two more times, and she was still dismissive and claimed that she had spoken to them twice and there wasn't anything she could do. She did offer to move me but I would have to pack everything up to be moved. Why would I have to be the one to be moved? They were the ones being noisy disrespectful jerks. I would have kinda enjoyed this oversized room for a week had the staff been better at their jobs. Matt was the only one that actually understood what customer service was about. I'll find better accommodations next time and you should too. read more

I travel a lot for work - I've seen so many awful hotels. Typically I just accept it for what it is and don't bother to leave reviews of any of them. This hotel is quite possibly the BEST hotel I've ever spent time in! So much so that I'm compelled to leave a review and shout it from the rooftop! My absolute favorite part of this hotel: the bed. MY GOD THE BED! It's not super hard, it's not a backbreaker at all, it's amazingly comfortable. The pillows are perfect - fluffy, but not neck bendingly so. The best 3 nights of rest I've had in a hotel. Ever. Super clean! The bathroom sparkled, it has been kept up very well. Not a single thought of questionable cleanliness at any time. Breakfast is a bit different during Covid, but the staff serve you a hot meal and it's.... edible. I've turned down many "breakfast offerings" at various hotels, but I had the breakfast here every morning. I wouldn't come here for it, but I didn't turn it down either. Finally - we were greeted upon our arrival by the MOST sweetest man. We had just come from a long 8 hour drive and ready for our room. He didn't keep us, but wanted to make sure we had everything we needed and even gave us some Huckleberry Jelly as a gift. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. read more

We have stayed at the Hampton Inn in whitefish for a week now. I cannot say enough good things about the staff, including everybody at the front desk, and all of the staff in the kitchen who prepare the wonderful breakfast every day, The cleaning staff, who have all been cheerful kept us supplied with the necessities all week. When asking various people at the front desk for information on Glacier National Park and the surrounding area, they have gone above and beyond to help us navigate the area. Buffer breakfast every morning has been wonderful. The staff in the kitchen are adept at keeping up with the stream of people. I never once noticed that anything was low, or that we ran out of anything. Liz, a member of the kitchen staff, was extremely accommodating - she made our stay all the more pleasant! read more

They have designated motorcycle parking right in front of the hotel that's covered...one of the best features is a free on call shuttle to and from the hotel from the downtown district. Stayed here while visiting Glacier NP for 2 nights. The hotel is conveniently located and a short drive to downtown. You can tell the hotel is a lot newer. It is set back off of the road and you really have to keep an eye out first time through trying to find it. Plenty of parking. The employees here were great at check in and throughout the entire stay in recommending some dinner spots. Breakfast was good. Rooms clean. I would stay here anytime. read more

This is a new Hampton Inn that had a soft opening in (I think) April or May 2016 but had its official grand opening in early June. We stayed one night there right after the grand opening. As a new property, everything about it is in great shape. The carpets look, smell and even feel new. The included breakfast featured scrambled eggs with chives, bacon and Yukon potatoes. I thought the eggs and potatoes were about the best I've ever had at a Hampton Inn (the scrambled eggs usually look like they are reconstituted!). We were upgraded to a nice junior suite. All the staff we met were friendly. Our rate was only $114 plus tax, about the lowest price we paid for a Hilton brand property on our cross-country trip. (Rates may increase in high season.) About the only downside is that it is in Whitefish. Several of the restaurants there that we checked out had permanently closed. Overall, I prefer Kalispell to Whitefish if you're visiting Glacier National Park. By the way, even in mid-June, Going-to-the-Sun Road was closed 16 miles from the West entrance, so you couldn't get to some of the best parts of the park. We were disappointed, as we really like Glacier. read more

The worst customer service we have ever experienced. Came up to go skiing and snowboarding for 4 days not once did they give us new towels nor make the bed or replenish our shampoos and soaps. Also had people above us making noise for hours and called to front desk to see if they could move them because we were there first for one and two they said they couldn't do anything because we bought our reservations through a 3rd party. Are you kidding me? Like we didn't matter to them. When anyone goes on vacation of course your going to find the cheapest coupons that's everyone. We got woken up 6am every morning all we could hear is banging for hours. Never again we will ever be back and for a higher end hotel get some real toilet paper one ply dosent cut it. Has kind of a sterile business hotel feel, but it's reasonably priced, has a 24-hour indoor pool, and the big new bed gave us the best night's sleep we had had in months! Our favorite hotel from our Glacier vacation. The front entrance roads have a weird layout--we went the wrong way by mistake twice, but luckily, there was nobody else around. It's not quite walking distance from downtown Whitefish, but an extremely quick drive away. read more

Stay there while visiting glacier national Park, we got off to a sort of a rocky start, but the general manager completely took care of it. Hotel is very nice and super close to the park. I believe the young lady at the front desk who had only been there a few weeks, I think her name was Wendy, whatever her name is, She is a keeper. Very good customer service skills. Young man who worked the desk needs some work. I would certainly recommend staying there again. They even offer shuttle into town which is a plus because you don't have to worry about parking. read more

THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Priceline didnt want to give us a refund for an accidental booking, because their policy says "non refundable" so i called the hotel and Nancy saved me almost 200$ because she told me to call priceline and let them know Hampton was ok with a late cancellation due to the circumstances. So priceline called Hampton and was able to give me a full refund on my accidental booking. Totally made my night! Thanks Nancy and Hampton Inn! Nice clean hotel with super comfy beds and a large selection of food for their free breakfast. I especially love the shelves in the bathroom and the cupboard with storage shelves for kitchen/food things in the main room. It helps keep the clutter down when you stay for multiple nights and have a lot of ski stuff and snacks like we did. Also the nice selection of food in the little front desk shop was much appreciated. Great, helpful employees on every front and an excellent value for a nice hotel We'll definitely be back! A very nice and clean tradition Hampton Inn. What makes it 5 stars is the incredibly friendly, helpful and caring staff who go out of their way to make sure everything is perfect during your stay. If anything is not the will go to great lengths to fix it. (Noisy neighbors whose children woke our entire family before 6:00 am. Not only did they take care of moving our stuff while we were out but they made sure everything was to our liking and gave us an Amazon gift card to compensate to for our troubles which had noting to do with them. They are knowledgeable and lovely to talk to. The breakfast is simple and easy but there is always ample food and very tasty and the rooms are extremely clean and well maintained. Kudos to all who work here for doing an amazing job. If u stay here be sure to say hi to Tristan at the front desk. He makes it s pleasure to come home in the evening and leave in the morning! read more

Clean, great area close to everything, and the staff are incredible! Dave especially, he truly made our stay the best. He was our shuttle driver but when watching him he seems to do much more than just drive a shuttle, we saw him in the pool area cleaning up and working on stuff. He has an infectious personality, he had the best stories, and is the hardest worker I've ever seen! Whitefish is known for the views and the charming downtown but he will be your favorite part of your trip in whitefish. read more

Stay here if you like hearing Loud footsteps until after Midnight ...other than that the hotel is nice and clean and everything feels new but it sucks when you go to bed at 10pm and are awoken at least 5 times by loud BANGING footsteps before midnight, I don't get it because I was on the 3rd floor which is the top floor so the walls must be paper thin here, I feel bad for the people on the lower floors read more

The BEST Hampton Inn we've ever stayed in. This is an excellent hotel in all aspects. We spent 5 nights. I booked the room with Stacey at the Hotel. A wonderful person. We were on a wedding anniversary trip to visit our beautiful National Parks. When we arrived Stacey was on duty, was so gracious. She gave us complete set of information on GNP, Whitefish, Restaurants, local maps, everything. Then presented us with a bouquet of flowers. The two ladies who served breakfast were wonderful. Everything was done observing the COVID requirements. They managed to serve an amazing and varied breakfast everyday. The Hotel is clean, the Staff is excellent. We stayed here for 4 nights while skiing at Whitefish mountain and had a great experience. The rooms were clean, staff friendly and free breakfast a nice perk. It is about 20 minutes for the mountain and not crazy busy over the holidays which is really nice. Great value for money too. Would definitely stay there again should we ever be in the area. read more

Hi - My CDT-hiking husband and I had the pleasure of staying here on 6/23 in room 320. I am a Hilton Diamond member and as such, have stayed in MANY Hampton Inns all across the US and this one had the BEST, MOST GENUINE commitment to customer service. We checked in using the Hilton app (skipped by the front desk) and when we got to our room, we noticed that my husband's hiking backpack (which he will use for his 3000 mile hike) was damaged on the flight to FCA. In a panic (because we were leaving the next AM), we went down to the front desk (manned by Matt Browning) to see if they had a sewing kit. Yes, they had one, but when Matt took the initiative to ask why we needed it, he offered to make some calls to see if he could locate a seamstress to repair it. We said sure, and long story short, he was able to find someone (after 6:00 PM) and we got it repaired on the spot! What's notable is that he REALLY wanted to help. So unexpected in today's world and his efforts ensured that my husband could set off on his adventure safely. What I later found out is that Matt is actually the MANAGER of the Hampton Inn Whitefish! I really like Hamptons in general, but this place was over the top. The people that work there were fantastic, starting with the shuttle driver and going all the way up to the manager. They have a large dining area with well spaced tables. Our group of friends would sit there every evening with wine, and munchies. They would supply us with wine glasses, napkins, and plates. They were extremely accommodating when I needed a late check out the day I was supposed to leave. My flight got canceled and it was no big deal to stay an extra day. Because of minimal housekeeping service due to Covid, I needed more coffee in the room. I was given a bag full of coffee pods and cups that lasted through my entire stay instead of having to ask for two or four pods at a time. We had transportation when my friends were there, but after my flight got canceled I was by myself. They offered to take me to any downtown restaurant and pick me up if I wanted. By the time we left, it felt like family. I will absolutely stay here again if I come back to Whitefish, which is pretty likely. read more

We recently stayed here at the end of May and we found the rooms very comfortable, modern and new. The exercise room was great but most of all the employees and I wish I knew their names were excellent. Best service from a Hampton ever. The employees went beyond the call of duty, even offering wine glasses for our evening happy hour. Breakfast was better than average also. This is a must stay hotel and area if you are visiting GNP. Plenty of dining choices in Whitefish as well from bar food to fine dining. read more

We stayed three nights at the end of February. The staff was friendly and helpful! The breakfast was fresh and good and the server was super nice. Just inside door, there is a large bar area, perfect for snacks and drinks. Bathroom has ledge above sink which was great to place your cosmetics/toiletries. All Hamptons should use this layout. Room had a modern feel. I agree with previous review about parking lot layout as it is odd and you don't realize it is one way until you have driven down the drive. We did receive some snow and they did a great job shoveling the sidewalks. I would suggest the hotel not allow people to bring their skis in their rooms as we saw people damaging walls etc as they carried them upstairs. Perhaps they convert closet downstairs to accommodate those without cars so they can store their skis. read more

My family and I spent 4 wonderful days in Whitefish last week. All of the staff made us feel wonderful and welcome truly a home away from home. All the shuttle drivers were great guys but we especially appreciate Leaman who went out of his way to bring something valuable we had forgotten in our room to the train station on very short notice.
