A walk through this little gem makes me think this is what Warhol's Montauk looked like. Tanned, sun bleached surfers should be permanently lounging on this store's couches. Not a lot of choices here which makes it all the more enjoyable. My favorite picks are the St. James sailor shirts and Moscot sunglasses.

Not a shopping experience I was used to visiting here from San Francisco, CA. The owner of the store, who I found out is responsible for all the buying, has amazing taste and a great eye for patterns and prints. I'd describe Next Door's look and feel as an eclectic mix of elegant, chic and quirky vacation wear. Think Calypso St. Barth meets Free People. The staff was very intuitive and friendly, leaving me alone when I just wanted to browse and ready to help when I had questions. They even took a dress down from their display for me because it was the only one left in the size I wanted. They're also very knowledgeable about what they have in their shop. When I was paying for the dress I picked out, the manager mentioned that they also carry a dress from the same collection in a different color and cut, and asked if I wanted to see it. Saw they were featured in Forbes! How cool is that!
