Like all high schools, you get out of it what you put in (and sometimes not even then). The teachers were absolutely incredible with our autistic son. The students - amazing. I cannot tell you how impressed I was with the students. The special needs students had mainstream students volunteer with them, sometimes 3 mainstream to 1 SN. There was so many kids on the basketball team they ended up making two teams so everyone could play more. I'd go to the games and just practically cry with joy. My son had the best experience of his life with Grandview. It was worth everything we had to do to go there. I'm sorry Logan T had a bad experience. But Grandview is truly, truly wonderful.

While other local…read moreschools are normalizing, they are telling parents that kids will be wearing masks and social distancing when school begins in August, 2021. By then, most high-risk folks will have been vaccinated. But, CA continues to put the needs of others over the social and emotional wellbeing of their students. There's talk that the kids will be able to "vaccinate their way out of wearing masks and social distancing in the fall." Some parents are not interested in this possibility until more information about vaccinating younger people becomes known. If you don't want to vaccinate your younger students, I'd look into another school.

I like how they still have clubs and social events. She has made some great friends. The staff is very helpful and fun. They will sit with her one-on-one whenever she needs help. Some of them have even video chatted with her on a weekend. She is taking some college classes and is loving that. The high school teachers are even willing to help her with her college classes. The students are very diverse in their cultures, backgrounds, and reasons for going to online school. I am so happy that we decided to send her to this school. Definitely something to check out.

Not only was the owner incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, the children were enjoying their learning experience...I would definitely recommend this place....where were you when I was a kid??? The icing on the cake ....2 Corgi's met me at the door! The children obviously love seeing these two everyday; they seem to facilitate the learning process making it an even more amazing atmosphere--so nice to see such a positive organization doing well in this upside down world, keep up the good work!!

I am a teacher and have been attending this daycare for years with a recent new owner change. Most…read moreof the same wonderful staff and new wonderful additions. I taught my son how to read at 4 and it was nice to know that they are adding academics and reading to the program plus center stage for active learning. I am constantly talking to my son teachers about what they are learning which is sight words, states, along with math in their Pre Kindergarten class. Friday Splash Day (summer water fun day) and wonderful holiday activities makes it very enjoyable for my son, always wants to go. It is spacious, warm atmosphere, and a lot of outdoor playtime which is important to me.
