However all the current kids are getting ignored. Only one parent teacher conference a year? Teachers care less! Teach less, my kids have told me how they watch youtube in numerous occasions throughout the years. Middle school kids are treated as in elementary still. We have many days off from school! Not much homework or know whats going on in school other then charity stuff going on. Oh they have plenty!! School safety is a huge concern here. They don't follow safety procedures because they say they have a few. I've put it to a test and past right tru it like nothing. However My kids have had a few decent caring teachers that Im very grateful for many left already but a few are still there. This will be our last year in Mcglone not only because we have relocated but its not worth driving my kids here anymore.

I don't have children of my own at the school, so all I can review is the facilities rather than the education aspect. However, my niece and nephew are geniuses so I can only assume it's because of the education they're receiving here (haha). The facilities are awesome. I've worked in the DPS system and this school is NICE. I'm there for every concert that the Bobcat Band puts on, as well as various talent shows. They don't use an actual auditorium, but the stage that leads into the cafeteria. The stage is nice.. and we, the audience, just sit on regular chairs. I've roamed the halls and checked out the classrooms. I wish I was fortunate enough to go to school here many many years ago!!

The school has great leadership, evidenced by the teachers' professional development opportunities, their latitude to adapt the curricula based on their own style and expertise, and by so many other factors. Teachers are award winning and quite simply, they care. My daughter loves school. She told someone when asked if she was looking forward to summer, "not so much." When asked why, she said "my teachers are awesome." Beyond the amazing educators and administrators, the family involvement is amazing. I feel very fortunate to be able to send my daughters to this school!
