Everyone there is nice but my most recent visit they only put 4 needles, which is not standard for them nor any other acupuncturist I have visited. There may have been a miscommunication but my understanding was that I would be receiving more needles than that but my practitioner never returned. I believe I was forgotten about but I could not talk to my practitioner and my concerns were waved away at checkout. My symptoms did not improve and I waited several days after treatment to be sure. I was also supposed to receive some follow-up recommendations for teas to drink and never heard back. I reached out privately as a courtesy to them considering years of positive experiences and have not heard back now after several days. They are usually very responsive so I believe they are choosing to ignore my concerns. I do feel a bit scammed. What I paid for was not at all worth it and I feel cheated, which is an icky way to feel, especially at a business you previously trusted.

AHA was a Godsend for me. I was dealing with a goiter that was pushing against my windpipe. I hate when doctors don't know why symptoms occur in the body so their only answer is to cut it out. Me: "Why is my thyroid enlarged though all my levels are normal?!?!" Doctor: {Insert cricket sounds} So... since I didn't want a scar across my neck & to be on medication for the rest of my life to regulate my hormones, I got online, began searching and found AHA. Thankfully, only after about 2-3 months, I no longer have breathing problems because of my thyroid. I still have a ways to go, but at least now I know I'm moving in the right direction, a direction of healing. They care at AHA, and I'm forever grateful for that.
