I don't know if this will show my original review as well as the update, or just the update. I just wanted to rewrite this a bit. On Labor Day, 2019 I hit a deer. It damaged my vehicle enough that it needed repairs to be drivable again. So, my car was towed on a holiday. He answered the phone for the highway patrol....but not for me or my father when he came to get me. We tried all of the numbers of course to no avail. I don't live in the area, my dad lived over 4 hours away. We couldn't stick around waiting for him to feel like answering our calls. I was left with no choice but to break a window to get my stuff out...load it into my dad's car...and leave. Keep in mind...my vehicle's alarm was going off while I did all of this...and since I was on a trip I had a lot with me. Close to what looked like his house...as well as his office. He didn't come out or say anything (that means that if you have a vehicle stored at this place...it's contents aren't exactly safe). We tried several times to reach him by phone...not just that day either. He never answered our calls. He never responded to our messages. He never called me. The highway patrol person who called him made sure my phone number was included with my keys for him...but he never used it. The lack of communication was so glaring that my parents helped me buy a different vehicle because they felt it was the best option. Despite having a different vehicle, I still tried calling again on my way back through, again no joy. Then, around a month later, he called my insurance company and tried to file a claim wanting storage fees! Something that wouldn't have been a problem if he had picked up the flippin' phone and called me at any point. He told them he couldn't get a hold of me. Really dude? Geico closed that claim real quick, but nice try. It has now been over 2 years...and I am still mad about this. I loved that car so much, but because he couldn't be bothered to answer the phone, I had to leave it behind. I'm actually shocked by how many positive reviews this company has. I grew up in a small town. I knew everyone in town and what kind of vehicle they drove. This business has that hometown feel. Great service. Heather runs a very well-oiled machine. Everyone working here is respectful of the customers and of each other. I rarely see employees work this well together. Kudos, to their team! read more

Two years ago, I brought in our car for a quick fix. The service was impeccable and incredible. Fast forward to August 2022. We took another vehicle to this same place. Almost 2 weeks later, nothing has been done to fix it. They have told me what has to happen to get it fixed and then I was told point blank by their receptionist "well, I just don't have anyone that WANTS to work on it. No one wants to do the extra labor" Are you people running a business or what? I'd like to go and get my truck but now they are not even answering my calls, more than likely knowing that I want to know a plan. This is a place that I would have used to recommend. Now, drive to Junction, Moab, wherever you can; just not this place. read more

Down to earth people. Was stuck on the side of the road and was fortunate to get help. They drove me around the area to get a motel, and checked out my car and had me on my way. Really appreciated the help! read more

Great family run business. My car broke down near the Kane Gulch Ranger Station and Frank Montella came out right away to pick us up. It was early evening when we got to Blanding. He dropped us at a motel and Todd got right on finding and the fixing the problem the next morning. Fast, friendly service at a fair price. read more

Our car broke down and we were stranded (basically) in the middle of nowhere with no cell service. A couple hours after eventually finding a way to get through to AAA, a state patrol came by and called Montella's. They went the extra mile to make sure that we were okay and on our way back home. Wow, Montella's was a life saver. We were stuck in Cedar Mesa at the ranger station hoping to begin our camping trip. Unfortunately when we stopped our truck, it refused to restart. The owner of Montella's Repair came all the way down with his giant tow truck to drag us back to civilization. Though I have forgotten his name, he was the kindest nicest man- the sort of sweet honest person one rarely meets anymore. The bonus of our dead truck story is we got to visit the fantastic native american museum in Blanding, called the Edge of Cedars Museum. We will return to the museum again as it was worth the dead truck to discover this incredible find! read more

On a recent trip to Utah, we had a wheel bearing go out. Called Montella's and had the van towed. They treated us great. The owner even drove us to breakfast, and told us to call him when done, so he could pick us up. Then drove us to motel for the night. Figured on a huge bill, but was surprised by the amount, couldn't have bought the bearing for what they charged us. Just a absolute pleasure doing business with them. The owner is a font of information on Blanding, very interesting to talk to. read more
