Great deal with different varieties you don't see often....4" pots cost $4 or 6 for $20 which is a great deal. I wanted to buy the 'crown of thorns' succulent that produces either white, red, pink or yellow flowers....i figured i'd walk and finish looking and come back before i left...didn't realize that was a popular so by the time i returned it was gone except for a lone yellow one so i snagged that one along with an air plant...really pretty! I didn't get her name but guessing the owner, Carol was nice enough to look in her inventory to see if there was others hiding....darn...none...she told me how to care as i've killed a couple of air plants...you'd think all it needed was air but nope, you need to 'water' (misting) them at least twice a week...i never know if im not giving enough or too much as sometimes the base looks rotted...I'll buy one more and cross my fingers it survives! I'll definitely have to either drive to Watsonville and make it a day or visit the Alamada Antique Fair again on first Sunday of the month.

Not just a treasure trove, it could be considered a landmark. This place is so wonderful...I…read morethought I was in heaven (largely due to the fact that I am a succulent NUT). What makes the place so great is that you will find succulents you've not seen before. We all appreciate unfamiliarity. You will find new at Succulent Gardens. Plus their small staff is very nice and very knowledgeable. Their prices are good as well. It's a large site. Visit and plan to move slow, take your time, and see it all.

I then found out they were housing immigrants from Oaxaca in substandard conditions and charging $1000 to $1500 per month. Clearly she has no morals and is as bad as her husband.
