Discovered this place at the Alameda Antique Fair as they had a stall set up with a wide variety of…read moresucculents and air plants, some arranged in one-of-a-kind containers that were really cute. Great deal with different varieties you don't see often....4" pots cost $4 or 6 for $20 which is a great deal. I wanted to buy the 'crown of thorns' succulent that produces either white, red, pink or yellow flowers....i figured i'd walk and finish looking and come back before i left...didn't realize that was a popular so by the time i returned it was gone except for a lone yellow one so i snagged that one along with an air plant...really pretty! I didn't get her name but guessing the owner, Carol was nice enough to look in her inventory to see if there was others hiding....darn...none...she told me how to care as i've killed a couple of air plants...you'd think all it needed was air but nope, you need to 'water' (misting) them at least twice a week...i never know if im not giving enough or too much as sometimes the base looks rotted...I'll buy one more and cross my fingers it survives! I'll definitely have to either drive to Watsonville and make it a day or visit the Alamada Antique Fair again on first Sunday of the month.
