Armed with my food voucher, I set off to find what I assumed would be meager victuals before my deflated drive back home. And I found this place. With a view of the runways out the window, this looked like it might be a fun, aviation themed restaurant. Hmm. Possibilities. Sydney came to my table and immediately keyed into my distress and offered sympathy and a fairly extensive menu. Along with friendly banter about the menu and her recommendations. I went for the French Dip and onion rings. Now, I love a French Dip. I've been to Cole's and Philippe's in LA since they are the OG. But this was really good! They bread was thinner and less crusty tag a typical French Dip, but it was tastier, letting the meat be the star of the show. The big onion rings had a crispy thin batter, not greasy, as a perfect complement. I saw a bread pudding on the menu, so I was a bad boy and ordered it. Very tasty across the board with a rich bread and ice cream (gelato?) and crisp fruit and the perfect amount of caramel sauce. Loved the aviation themed decor. I'm tempted to even come when I don't have a flight. I'm informed that they validate parking for two hours, and it's only a few dollars if you go over. So. I'm calling this good. There are a lot of dining options in Monterey, but only one where you can watch planes take off. Worth checking out!

Woody's is the only restaurant at this small regional airport, so I decided to go for it. First things first, the view is amazing. You get to see the tarmac and enjoy your meal. It's amazing to see flights coming in and just the simple hustle and bustle of a smaller airport. Foodwise, I only ordered two things - a cup of clam chowder and the calamari. To be honest, neither stood out too much. The clam chowder was a bit more watery than I expected, and the calamari was just okay. The service was amazing though. They really take care of you.

Call for a reservation.. why it a family with history of fishing and volunteers ... the menu is good standard fish meals and pasta dishes... then ever night they have 5 to 6 specials of fish and maybe a meat specials... I always get a special . Friday night they err packed and the way Saint it's 39 minutes or you could sit at the bar in 5 minutes . We always had a table but that sounded good to sit at the bar. The team from the way to the assistants are just amazing... like a food team . They move so fast water, wine , bread with olive oil and basaltic vinegar with a touch of hot sauce. Our first time at the bar they serve dinners, wine and beers ... the server told us the specials or home made raviolis with crab ect. The special I picked was the grilled tuna ... with pasta and vegetables.. I said I want it lightly grilled.. he said a mini or two on both sides ... yes .. he said it the best way. You get to see what the others are having and get into conversations with them... the tables are very close together you can talk to other people at tables but they just have 4/6 people at the tables... I had a glass of red wine whiz we wait ... no fried squid this time ... it's a lot so we passed this time first time we Did not have them ... my wife saw the wimp next to her and she had the crab ravioli so Linda ordered it . While we waited the serve was cracking to oysters . 3 hit and it was open slid the knot under it and repo it 5 more times for for a table order... our dishes can't from behind us from another waitress... both plates were just great looking, and the plate was hot ...I finish by glass of wine to mou for my plate .. the tuna was lightly grilled .. I cut into it and it was gust right .. the taste was so good as if the had it come in the back door... I usually put lemony on my fish , shrimp clammy ect but this tuna was so Amazing not tonight... I copy not believe what a big piece if aha tuna it was. Like it was a Bone steak... it push the pasty and vegetables to the edge of my plate. At ect other restaurants on the peninsula if it's a special it would be a small piece of fish like it so expensive... ... the staff comes by asking if we need any thing ... they weave in and around ti clear a table for prolly wait out the front door... Their deserts are made in house and the one who may the tearmisu was a family friend who makes the best we have ever had.... I know I have had so many servings in 3o years... the best was an old it's which has an Italian restaurant in Castroville .. from the old country...him and his wife ... U say who made this and the server said the isn't.. I said tell him his was the best we ever had. In a few minutes he and his wife came out to our tablet to thank us... his was the picture of a family that came to California 50 years ago.... We took Linda's hid mother out to dinner with us many times and she was so hay to meet them ... then they talked in Italian for a count minutes... we took her out to dinner and drive up to the redo ... a big sign said closed down... But we have found the next generation here at the fish restaurant... it's like the same recipes from his father.. and must have been his grandmother recipes ... this time the staff has a a Hispanic families from South America ...hard working navy stopping just to make sure eco gets perfect service.... With the perfect meal ... there are other good restaurants on the per but if you want the best mess you ever had it's the Monterey fish house on Del Monte body ... call for reservations or stand out side the fro door. Prolly have a good time together and they eat have do and coffee and leave for others w come in to enjoy they great meal tell them you saw a rent from a local member of the o for 55 years

We lined up right when they opened and got a booth table (there are tons of tvs at almost every angle so most, if not all the seats have a view). The food wasn't anything special but I was super impressed at the prices and variety offered during happy hour. It's getting harder and harder to find a restaurant that has a decently priced happy hour that doesn't just have $10 truffle fries as their "happy hour." We ordered a bunch of the food items but the Wings were my favorite (4 wings with celery, carrots for $5), while the Eggplant Bites were my least favorite. I love eggplant but this was way too sweet and all the different flavors were quite weird.

Sadly we sat and sat, waiting for someone to even ask us what we'd like to drink but it never happened. As we headed for the door, the apparent server appeared, perplexed that we had been unwilling to wait fifteen minutes for his assistance. We've loved this place for years and felt sorry that the evening hadn't turned out as planned. Clearly the upgrades didn't involve service.

You know how hard it is with a toddler and baby. But we also know the importance of bringing them. We were super excited to have an unbelievable steak dining experience. We were in Carmel for two nights and we researched this place to eat at. Upon arriving with our party of 6 everything was smooth. We put our order in and then what felt like over 90 minutes we were asked if we wanted our daughter's burger to come out first. Which we did. After some time there. The A5 Wagyu came out. The stone plate was pretty cool. As a matter of fact, our 3 year old had her first tasting experience with the A5. She absolutely loved it. And so did we! The actual timeline was sit down reservation at 6:15 and first A5 Wagyu to come out was 40 minutes later. Then a total of 90 minutes before our entrees came out. That was the time stamp on our food pics. Finally our order came out which was a porterhouse we ordered to split for two. It had the spinalus, and all the yummy with it! It was incredible. My friend ordered just the spinalus and said it was the best steak he's ever had. The food was definitely A+. What happened next brought the experience down to a 3 star. We paid for our deposit through the chase reserve portal using Tock prior to arriving for dinner. We opted to utilize our points since we saved way more by doing that. We paid a $300 deposit worth points. So in essence we should've received a bill with a minus $300 on it. When we received the bill, it did not have the $300 off from it. So I asked about it and they said they would take care of it. After a very long time, they came back and said they're trying to take care of it. After more time, one of the servers said to me, if I can pay the full price on the receipt and I will receive a refund in a couple of days. So we did. We didn't want to wait any longer. A couple of days later I sent an email and the owner responded with an email from that night that he was taking care of the situation. Apparently, Tock reservations that do not opt to accept points and cash deposits will have a hard time. And since Saltcraft accepts Tock reservations with only cash deposits, I was SOL. A couple days later I was refunded the points back to my account. The food was off the charts! We had a great time devouring the yummy in all those steaks! The servers and people taking care of us were super nice and seemed to care about our experience. Overall, we felt they could've addressed at the end with the time of order till the food came out with apologies. But there was no apologies. They just brought out the food. Then the amount of time not understanding what was going on with the bill. That could've been addressed. After writing an email to the owner, he apologized that their service wasn't timely. "I'm sorry that our leisurely service style for the meal and the lead time for our steak process wasn't a good fit for your family." That was his quote. We wish them good luck and no ill. Things happen and hopefully we all get better from it.

They're seared with duck fat which gives it a great buttery taste, allowing you to taste the fatty flavor on cuts of meat that aren't the most fatty. The fries that go with each steak dish are also really good and go with the steaks. We had the cowgirl ribeye and spinellis steak. They were both good, I personally preferred the cowgirl ribeye since it had more fat. For the other portions of the meal, I really liked the sourdough bread they gave us. It tastes freshly made. The mushroom side that we ordered my husband really liked, but it wasn't my taste since it was a bit oily. The toffee bread pudding we didn't really like-it was too sweet, very small, and not very well presented. The cocktails we had were stellar. We had the paper plane, Rio de Janeiro, and Thai boxer. My favorite was the Rio de Janeiro; I was watching it being made and they squeeze fresh oranges into the drink. It was a good combination of orange juice and cream. The Thai boxer was good, although I did think it was a bit watery. The service was great and we had a lot of good recommendations from the staff. The restaurant had good ambiance and visually pleasing interior design. It's located in a shopping plaza with easily accessible parking as well. Note-if you come for your birthday or special occasion, they don't do anything extra like a dessert.
