For a recent job I also obtained estimates from two other professional tree services and found Dane's pricing was competitive. The work Dane and his staff do is excellent. They have always shown up on time, appear to work meticulously and safely and always leave the area looking better than it had when they arrived. The 3-day job they completed for me today was complex and I saw Dane here a good part of each day. The heavy wood close to structures, landscaping and other trees was lowered to the ground using ropes in order to keep control of it and prevent damage. During their work I have had the most contact with James and Scott, who have both always been very polite, considerate of our property, displayed excellent work ethics and watched out for out pets. So we asked him what else he does and he said anything but concrete. We asked about drainage for the new house and he talked to us and we set a price and determined what we needed for the project. We had all the materials sitting here for months and finally it was time that the concrete guy was coming to start the work we contracted him to do and the drainage had to be completed. So we completed the job and requested the $300.00 be returned to us. The owner said how about using it on wood and I will get you $300.00 in wood for your fireplace. We said that will be great. This is around the end of summer. We asked the owner for the $300.00 worth of wood on October 23, 2017 and he said that there are 9 people in front of us and that it will be a couple of weeks. We said okay we just wanted to get on your list. On 11/21/2017 we asked again where we were on his list and he said on 11/22/17 that we were on next weeks list and that he is slammed. 12/04/17 we texted him again asking when should be expecting him with the delivery. The owner said it will be this week and that he has been working on his cabin. On 12/13/17 texted the owner again (because we still haven't gotten our wood delivered). He has another excuse of he is behind and that I don't have any workers. We said okay let us know when you will be coming. It is now March 18, 2018 and still no delivery of the $300.00 worth of wood. The owner of this company gave us nothing but a run around once he owed us money and gave us a ton of excuses from my truck is broken down, I am sick, I don't have anyone to work with me to get the job done, to I am working on my cabin since it is warm.
