The reason for only 4 stars is this: When we went to pick up the materials, she couldn't find our paperwork and our order was not ready. The owner was scrambling to get it all together claiming she had no idea we were coming that morning. There was wood that still needed cutting, so this delayed our project. It would have settled bettered with us had she owned the mistake. Things happen. Instead, she made us feel that it was our fault. Thankfully, we had an invoice with the pick up date and details. They could not find their copy.

I attached photos but Tom's advice, experience and constant attention are very appreciated. His crew of Orlando, Zach and Robert were polite, constantly measuring and checking on quality. Really transformed our new back patio and torn down and replace the front porch which had a leak going back years. Tom brought in quality contractors for work Groff doesn't do themselves. Julian for demo, stucco and cement. I could tell Tom and Groff's reputation during inspections and coordinating with others really paid off. This is our 2nd big Groff project at two different homes in ~ 20 years and although we shopped this around, Groff clearly was the right choice!

I called their number no answer all 3 times. Then i emailed 4 times and someone named Sonia stated she was sorry but it's now Out Of Stock... what? Then without asking me if I wanted a different style they refunded me without any help. Yes I wanted a different style so now I had to place my order all over again. She said she would check on the status and never replied back. Since July 7th...I have emailed and called them 6 times each. Very bad customer service. They will probably resound in another 20 days and tell me that one is Out Of Stock too. Nice items but that does not outweigh the horrible customer service.

I've been doing projects with Steel Partners Lighting since 2018 and have spent tens of thousands of dollars with them. When Steel Partners was bought out by Kiva around 2021, I was originally excited that the legendary custom fabrication that Steel Partners was known for was seemingly going to live on with Kiva Lighting, which claims to be a custom lighting fabricator. For the last 18 months or so, I've been in direct contact with the company CEO, Sonia Torres, working on a custom lighting package for a multi-million-dollar home in the Adirondack Mountains of NY. I purchased many thousands of dollars worth of Steel Partners fixtures from Kiva in 2023. Many cages arrived crooked and without the necessary mounting flange that would allow secure installation of the fixtures. To their credit, Kiva promised to re-fabricate the fixtures per my design recommendations. But it literally took 9 months to get all the fixtures back and only after many dozens of texts and voicemails that were routinely ignored more MONTHS on end. But I did eventually get the replacements, and they were far better. In late 2023, I was forced to place an add-on order for approximately 1 dozen custom fixtures needed for an addition -- wanting to coordinate the lighting for the addition with the main house built a few years earlier. I have been jerked around for well over a year after having been promised on dozens of occasions that the custom CAD drawings were forthcoming so I could finalize the design and place the actual order needed to compete the project. I still don't have anything I need. Sadly, this company is horrifically mismanaged. They are an absolutely embarrassment to the greatness the name Steel Partners once represented. It has been, hands down, the singular worst customer service experience I've ever had in my life. Do yourself a favor, stay away from any of the many "brands" under the Kiva Lighting ownership umbrella. The company is an absolutely train wreck.

They lack the ability to make cuts to a specified size. I ordered 90 pieces of 16 gauge 3/4" square tubing at 52" that they charge me over $250 for. There was no consistency in the cuts. That varied 1/2", some less than 52" and some more that 52". Additionally they sold me a thicker material than I wanted. They lack customer service and made no effort to correct my order. They hung up on me. Now I have to recut every piece of metal. I've lost time and money. I will never use them again.
