Tomastone measured the garage, provided so many samples it was hard to choose. Then he provided me a quote that I immediately said yes to. He booked my date, told me what time he would show up, and showed up exactly on time. He then told me what he was going to do that day. NOTE this work was done in mid November so it was pretty cold outside for SoCal. And the next day he came to finish the project. Within 6 months in 2 locations the grout and tile became loose. They did come back to fix it and said they did but I had the same problem a few months after that. I reached out again multiple time but they never came back or even called to fix the mistake... I have now hired another company and we discovered they did the floors completely wrong. He advised this was his profession and he knew what he was doing. Sure enough, the paint peeled the first time it rained and now he does not take our calls. No priming, very little sanding and a deck he built was nowhere near up to code. Went personally with him to Home Depot in another town to pick out cabinets and counters for a kitchen, but he took no notes and wanted to know all the details all over again later-repeatedly! Look elsewhere.

We also had a couple pennants lights put in at the same time and Jesse was able to patch and blend/feather in the new paint with the old paint on the ceiling perfectly. Now that's impressive, especially the ceiling paint was 6 years old. (Saved us some $$ on not having to paint the entire ceiling) We got to know Jesse while he was here and he's a good guy, loves his family and loves outdoor activities. Their on site estimate provided several different options of varying costs which gave me flexibility depending on what direction I wanted to go. They provided details and answered questions on all options so I felt informed on the situation. After scheduling the work, they were very prompt on timing, very respectful of my home, and easy to have around for all the time that they were there. Steve and his crew were very professional accommodating all our "mid-process" requests. We had recessed lighting and a fan installed and everything looks amazing! We hired KC Floors Feb. 19 to install flooring and baseboard in our 1,760 sqft home. It is now April 6th and all of the corrections are just being finalized. Where to begin... Dave, the sales guy, was a nice guy but measured the flooring wrong and a few days into the job the sub-contractor, MIGUEL & SONS, had to drive to L.A. to grab 300 sqft. MIGUEL & SONS are complete hacks. If KC Floors tries to send them to your house refuse entry. They had a crew of roughly five guys that were terrible. They broke the supports under our bed when moving it and did not tell us, they tried to repair baseboards with drywall mud and it had to be ripped out, they did not remove the underlayment and the floors were uneven in many of the rooms and they had to come back and remove two of the bedrooms and reinstall the flooring. When Miguel came back to do they repairs he was mad and uncooperative. When KC floors tried to send Miguel a third time I refused to let him in. He, and his company are not capable of completing the job the correct way. (see photos) The owner refused to take my calls and requested that all correspondence be via email. This was actually better because the information the office was providing me and the information the owner provided contradicted each other. The owner also was requesting final payment, which I refused because the job as of now has still not been completed. I could go on but at this point it's not worth it. If you are looking for a cheap price, bad work, terrible communication and a job that should be completed in 7 business days taking 2 months you are in the right place. Your search is over. Call them today! If you want a job done right pay the extra money and go somewhere else. Checkout the photos below and I would love to hear what you think! *** Walking the house with the painter right now I just found another area where the floors don't even make it to the baseboard!
