Leveled and put in new dirt, put in a nice blue stone paver pathway across the front to the side of the house with 2 new trees and assorted planting. When I tried to confirm I'd reached Montoya Landscape, the response was "what do you need? you need gas or something?" -- attempts to confirm that the number was that of a landscaping/yard maintenance company resulted in first, an implication that the call was from "a scammer or something" and finally a query whether I was "looking for an estimate or something" -- by which time the situation had deteriorated enough that I suggested that further conversation was not fruitful, and we mutually agreed to terminate it. Javier did a beautiful job of cleaning up the front and back of my apartment building. It hadn't been weeded in a long time and it was a mess. Javier was AMAZING!!!!! At the beginning of the summer, I called several landscaping companies for quotes and availability to do some pretty extensive work on our small backyard in the city. We needed to remove junk and old concrete sections, extend the yard closer to the house, add drainage pipe and add a significant amount of pavers. Not only was Javier the best price, he could start almost immediately! I was worried this was too good to be true, but went ahead and booked him so that our yard could be done in time for an outdoor party. Javier worked 6 days a week for almost two weeks to get the job done in time. He went above and beyond the job required and we are sooo happy with the finished product! On the last day, I bought several flowers and trees to plant as soon as he left but instead he even stayed to help plant.....after his work was completely done. WHO DOES THAT!?? Javier was the best.
