The work involved resodding a backyard that had gone wild with violets and other invasive plants. They dug out some overgrown horseradish plants that had spread considerably, they trimmed and edged the flower beds, and everything is neat and clean. Out front, they resodded and put in new timber borders. This was real work, and they did it well. Their bid came in slightly higher than one other, but I got the sense from talking with the owner that I had nothing to worry about, and that was true. I would not hesitate to call on them again for help. Not at all.

I loved the fact that a) he responded at all vs just ignoring the request, b) was upfront and honest about his timeline vs just taking the job and overextending himself. Once I told him that we were in no rush, and would be happy to wait, he proceeded to text back and forth with me helping me get an idea as to what the job might cost. He made recommendations about plants, etc....and all this without officially having secured my business. Towards the end of July, I reached back out to see what his timeline looked like. Again, he responded almost immediately. He apologized for not getting back to me sooner, and said he would come out to measure the area, and discuss the job in more detail. In my mind, he had absolutely nothing to apologizing for. He set a date to come out, came out exactly at the time he promised, and helped us figure out what would look good. He provided a written, detailed estimate, which he adhered to...we paid exactly what he quoted. On the day of the job, he showed up as promised and on time. He laid out all of the plants, and allowed us to move them around several times until we got everything exactly the way we wanted it. His team worked quickly and neatly. The end results are amazing! If I could give a higher rating, I would. Our condo association needed some spring clean up work completed and I contacted U-Rich through Yelp. I received a very prompt response, with a few follow up questions and received an estimate the next day after he had a chance to evaluate the space. (By the way, 2 of the 3 other people I reached out to have yet to reply) Much to my delight, the work was scheduled for 2 days after I signed the contract, and when I saw the completed work, it met my expectations. But here's where it gets REALLY interesting. I was satisfied with the work and indicated so. Despite that, two days later people were working out front again, and I checked my email to see if I had missed something and had heard back from U-Rich indicating that he had followed up on the work that was done, it was not to his satisfaction and as a result was sending his team out for improvements at no additional cost. This is literally the definition of above and beyond and I think I've found our new landscaping service! read more

Alex is amazing! His guys came out and within a few hours had my home looking tiptop. Totally stands behind his work and does an amazing job. His prices are very and the quality of his work is unsurpassed. I had him take care of all of my bushes, hydrangeas and lawn on my property and has never ever looked better. As a business owner myself it is sad and unfortunate to come across people, and companies, like U-Rich Services and Alex. They are unprofessional in both landscaping services and business. They did a terrible job and only worked during the late hours of the night. Our neighbors did not appreciate leaf blowers being used at 10pm. Would not recommend them by any means. It's unfortunate because we had friends who were excited to use them for their own projects, but have now gone elsewhere based on our experience and results with them. read more

Our only concerns were with communication and project management. Our signed contract included replacing the fence as well as demolishing and removing a concrete step. A few days after the project began, we were told the concrete removal would cost extra because the step was concrete. We didn't mind paying the additional cost--we understand unexpected situations can come up--but it was frustrating that this wasn't identified and communicated during the initial estimate or before the work started. The concrete step was identified on the day work began, and he mentioned the extra charge 3 days later. Once the fence was completed, we were asked for full payment even though the contracted work had not yet been finished. We ultimately agreed to pay the remaining balance because we didn't want to go back and forth. It also seemed like multiple jobs were being worked on at the same time, which delayed completion. We were told a jackhammer needed to be rented to complete the concrete removal, but it wasn't arranged until later, adding to the delay. Overall, we're pleased with the final product and the quality of the work. I would hire Danny again because the workmanship and pricing were good. However, I would make sure the contract had more detailed terms regarding change orders, payment milestones, and project completion timelines to avoid any misunderstandings. Better communication throughout the project would have made the experience much smoother.
