    Rotors

My insurance company recommended Ford Montrose Collision Center, I never received an update on my vehicle within two weeks, I had to call them. Some parts were on back order.my vehicle sat outside for three months without being started . When I finally picked my vehicle up three months later. I drove it less than five miles , the AWD censor and Emissions system light came on and the vehicle idled while in park. I was asked to bring it back , so they could troubleshoot. The collision center was unable to fix the vehicle, they sent it to Sierra Acura. Sierra Acura, ran test and sent a video a censor needed to be replaced, my rotors and break pads. The video mentioned that this was likely from sitting in outdoor elements for a period of time . Montrose Ford cover the cost of the censor replacement. I spoke with the director Jim, he was condescending, lack empathy, and was rude. I have never experienced anything like this in my life. I was left with a bill from Acura for $1400 . Jim spoke with the service technician from Acura who confirmed that this was likely because the vehicle sat . I was responsible for not only the bill , but transportation to pick my vehicle up from the location they sent my vehicle to. I had just replaced my rotors in Oct and breaks in January.

Just a warning before you purchase from Montrose Ford in Fairlawn. I purchased a car here 4 months ago and part of the exhaust broke where it had apparently been taped up instead of being repaired correctly prior to me purchasing it. I was told to bring it in and they would take care of it (what an awesome place!) Only to bring it in (2 little ones in tow) to hear that now there is a long list of why they won't fix it, for example: "well it wasn't broke (it was rigged up with tape that is expected to last 3-4 months- said my step father who is a manager at one of the largest auto part stores in the US) when you bought it" and "it's going to cost us a crazy amount to fix", and "We actually don't have to approve or meet any standards when we sell a used car" -General Manager Chris. I actually had a good first experience with Brian at Montrose Ford and am sad to report such a lack of actual customer concern and service behind what they sell, especially when they state that they strive for excellent customer service on their voice recorded phone message. After speaking twice l with general manager, Chris, I had hoped that they would resolve this issue with great customer service and satisfaction, as he stated he would 'find out what he could do and get back with me'. Chris has never reached back out and sadly, I am now more disappointed in Montrose Ford than ever. I have called numerous times, left messages, spoken with the receptionist and still, I have not received one phone call in return. The one time I was actually able to get a hold of anyone else (Joe, the other general manager) I was promised he would call me back within minutes, many hours later and I still have had no contact with them. I am thoroughly disappointed with not only the service but also the lack of accountability and responsibility Montrose Ford has displayed. Myself and my family will no longer purchase cars from Montrose Ford and I urge you to be cautious if you are considering purchasing from here as well.

**Attention Scammer Dealership** Montrose Ford in Fairlawn, Ohio I saw this 2020 GT500 listed on eBay for sale and contacted Daniel Russel "Sales Manager" after a little back and forth talk we came to a deal on a price and they pulled the listing down as you can see in the photo. They sent me the credit app as you can see in my email they ran my credit and got it approved through Ford with a Mike in their finance department. Just a normal deal as many of my other car purchases, "well so I thought." I was supposed to get the paperwork in the mail on Thursday or Friday and didn't show up, so I called the dealership and texted Daniel asking were is my paperwork as you can see in the text screen shot. After some waiting I get a text saying the original guy that ordered it wants it now, I'm like I don't care what does that have to do with me? We made a deal! (As you can see in my screen shot) Pissed off, I call the the "GM Joe Dyer" who is trying to screw me out of the deal and asked what is up? I told him I made a deal with Daniel, you ran my credit, got it approved and now you are snaking the car out from underneath me? He just said yes! What the actual F! Am I wrong here thinking they can just snake a car away after the deal was made and the ran my credit under false pretenses just to take the car and sell it to someone else? The deal was literally done with me already I was paying 17k over sticker, I think they were offered more without telling me, that's the only thing that makes sense from the people I have talked to. I'm going to find out what recourse I have because this is just wrong and bad business! Joe Dyer "the GM" said "well we like to have back up buyers" why the hell would I have them run my credit to be a back up buyer, that the dumbest crap I have ever heard!

Interaction with the salesperson where he blocked me online after I shared I wasn't interested in double digit apr's

The week I walk off the lot with the truck, I get all these lights that start coming on for my truck. I get that "!" light that comes on, I fill up my tires and it's still on. A maintenance required light comes on. lol think that means they did a good checkup per the car fax saying so? I get a "no air bag" light. I hear clicking while driving in the front end as if there's suspension issues. 6 months later now my ABS and traction lights are coming on. My radio always messes up and defaults to the CD. They just quickly and cheaply fix up these vehicles for sales. I keep getting these notifications from them about recommended maintenance to be done to my truck while they somehow quote me my exact mileage on my vehicle to this date. And they conveniently never gave a recommended maintenance request for shocks or struts when you are supposed to have them done after 50,000 miles, this vehicle has over 147,000 miles on it. They conveniently remain quiet on the higher cost stuff recommended and especially immediately after you buy.

They also advertise that I can go to one of their other dealerships, so I stopped by their Kia dealership today and learned their car wash is unavailable for the foreseeable future. I then drove t to the Chevy dealership and found their car wash closed. I inquired as to the reason for the closure and was told by Nick that it will be closed for at least two months. I asked if someone could hand wash it and he said they don't have staff available who can do that. (I wonder what the gentleman who occasionally runs the car wash is doing) He suggested I try their Cadillac dealership across town, but I also recall being referred to the KIA dealership by that dealership . Bottom line the free car washes are spurious at best. Don't fall for it. The only shining light during this experience was meeting a technician at Chevy named Rodney who seemed genuinely empathetic and wanted me to have a good customer experience.

Title: Failed Warranty Support, Repeated Misdiagnoses, and Over $3,200 Charged…read moreI bought my 2017 Chevy Colorado from Vandevere Chevy in July 2025 and originally felt confident thanks to their "Forever Warranty." That confidence is gone after my experience with their service department. In December, Stabilitrak, ABS, and T/C lights came on. Vandevere diagnosed a corroded driver-side hub and ABS sensor, told me they weren't covered under the warranty, and charged me. Later, the warranty provider confirmed that wheel hubs are covered and that Vandevere had actually submitted the claim--yet they still billed me. They also performed an alignment and replaced a battery, bringing the visit total to $1,600+. A month later the same lights returned. Vandevere charged more diagnostic fees, performed an oil change, replaced a pigtail, charged me to diagnose a loose heat shield that only needed a larger washer, and charged me to diagnose an "oil leak" that I or an independent mechanic could find no trace of. They also charged me for repairing a broken wheel stud even though they rotated the tires and cross threaded it during a previous Vandevere service. Despite the charges, the actual issue was never resolved. The lights came on when they test drove my vehicle. I took the vehicle to a trusted independent shop. They immediately found the real cause: the passenger-side wheel hub, which Vandevere never inspected. They fixed it correctly, and the warning lights disappeared. When I raised these concerns with Vandevere, a manager admitted certain items should have been covered and offered partial reimbursement including submitting the independent shop invoice for reimbursement. But another employee later told me that the independent shop charges would still stand because I didn't get "pre approval" for that repair--even though Vandevere had failed twice to fix the issue and repeatedly misrepresented warranty coverage. In total, I paid over $3,200 to Vandevere and they never fixed the problem. This is not what I consider honesty, accountability, or customer service. I cannot recommend their service department and will not be returning.
