I recently had a flat tire after getting off work and was heading out on the road for a work trip that night and needed a tire quickly. I immediately called Tire Source that morning, was able to get my vehicle in within the hour and they had a new tire for me that afternoon. Burke and Tony were both super helpful, and were even able to outline some other problems with my engine that they quoted work for. I shopped around for prices, and Tire Source was definitely the best priced and most reliable in the area, and worked with me on the price as that's something that I struggle with. I got my vehicle in after I returned and Tony updated me frequently with progress on my car, and had it done before they said they would. I cannot stress enough how good the service I just received was. I had originally scheduled an alignment yesterday for 3:00PM today. I was getting tires installed at a local warehouse club (for the last time) and on my way to get an alignment at Tire Source. I had to call no less than 3 times to cancel, reschedule, and re-reschedule my appointment after the local warehouse club tire techs failed to properly install my tires. I would drive for a mile then spend 5 minutes putting air in my tires on the side of the highway. Drive another mile, 5 more minutes of air. Burke and another one of his associates were incredibly patient and helpful. They ultimately resolved the shortcomings of the original install and got me on my way with a perfect alignment in less than 30 minutes. I've spent a huge amount of money on my car in the last two weeks with various vendors and mechanics. If I could do it again I would have just gone right to the source-Tire Source. I have since moved away from Akron but the attention to detail and level of service for even my small amount of business (less than $100) is unheard of. I just wish these guys would run for political office, we certainly need this level of service there. THANK YOU! To all the techs and service staff at Tire Source. I've been coming here since early 2007, I've brought numerous family and friends to this location over the years. All the tires on all of my five cars were bought and handled by Tiresource. Currently reached out to check and see if my one year car alignment warranty was still covered. I was told that I missed the warranty date by two days, and that there was nothing they could do or attempt to do for me! After all the years and all the cars this is the last time they'll receive my business. Exceptional service!! I was leaving to pick up my child from her school, when I heard a metal clank under my car and suddenly a loud constant metal screeching noise. I was 7 miles from her school and there was NO way it was okay to drive with a problem that loud. I stopped in without notice and asked them to check out the car to make sure it was safe to drive, despite the noise. They knew time was of the essence ("after-care" is not offered at my child's school, so I had to be on the road in 15 minutes). They helped me very quickly, and they were so compassionate! I was able to pick up my child on time, and the problem was solved without any costly repairs! I am so appreciative to the wonderful people at Tire Source!! I just moved to Ohio from Georgia and my third day here, my car battery dies. After being jumped off at my apartment I was on the way to Autozone in Akron when I passed by Tire Source. I decided to stop in to see if they could test my battery. They got me right in, tested it, determined I needed a new battery and replaced it all within 15 minutes. I went here for a "free" brake inspection, based off of the reviews on yelp. Had I allowed them to repair my brakes, I would have paid dearly for that "free" brake inspection. I am very disappointed in this store. In fact, I was quickly reminded of "used car sales" techniques. I was told that I needed to replace my rear brake pads and rotors by S. Wilson, the sales person. I was given an estimate of $367.00 to replace these items. I was never told what type of brakes would be installed, so I'm going to assume that they would have thrown the cheapest goods on there. Anything to maximize profit, right Tire Source? When I declined the service, I was immediately given $30 off. After I declined again, it was $50 off. I further declined, and my car was brought out so I could finally leave. I have an idea of how much brake jobs go for, so I know they were ripping me off. Also, I know how much the dealership charges for a brake job. Tire Source wanted to charge me even more than the dealership!!! A brake job at the dealership is $365, plus I would have had a loaner, and OEM parts. To top it all off, I got a stare down by the mechanic, named Keith, after he pulled my car up. I know the sales person and mechanic's names because they were put on my estimate. Well Keith, I guarantee they don't pay you enough to act like that, so keep moving along. I went home and decided to check out my brakes by myself. It was very obvious (even to me, a non-mechanic) that the caliper was seized, and that I also needed to replace my caliper (Tire Source didn't tell me this). They must have wanted to drop this information after I O.K.'ed the work for the brakes and rotors. I would never make the mistake of going back to this place, and if it's a franchise, I would not go to any Tire Source ever. I don't recommend others to go here for repair work as well. read more

Great customer service!! Got there right as they were closing and they were more than happy to help me with my tire puncture. I ended up ordering a new set of tires and they had me up and rolling early the next morning. They even gave me a ride back to my hotel. These guys rock! Reasonable prices and they could actually work on my Audi! After calls to over 12 different places (even large chains) other than the dealer they were the only place able to align my car. Since then we have had other services performed. I am fairly savvy when it comes to cars and I never felt like they are selling me something I didn't need or questioned their assessment. (Nice to finally find an honest mechanic.) While I do have family in Akron I actually drive from Cleveland to have them work on my car, that says a lot!
