10 stars! I make the whole car-buying process uncomfortable for everyone. But not here. The sales man, walked me through leasing options, which were foreign to me. He really listened and made charts with thorough explanations. There wasn't any tension or unease! I was there for several hours with my daughter. Many introductions were made, all of which included her. Speaking of time, they closed at 6:00 but we weren't finished until 7:30! I felt bad but they reassured me it was fine and really meant it. What other dealer would do that? They really took care of me- it was like buying from family. I had two cars to trade in, but didn't have a way to get them both there, so they came to my house to look them over! Again, who does that? They gave me good trade-in offers that I couldn't pass up. I really felt like I got a good deal and left completely satisfied and would recommend them to anyone. Their philosophy is like no other- Customer satisfaction and they deliver! I've read some of the negative reviews, but that has NEVER been the case with my experiences with Park Ford. I purchased a new Ford EcoSport from them in 2022. (First time buyer at this dealership) I've had my car regularly serviced by them from day one. EVERY experience has been great. All professional, courteous, informative, and serviced in a timely fashion. My latest experience has been with their COMPLIMENTARY REMOTE SERVICE. Awesome! They came to my house, did a full check-up, including tires/rotation, oil, brakes, battery, etc. I couldn't be happier and the price was more than reasonable, the same as if I took my car in to the dealership. Worst experience we've ever had. One of our cars has been at Park Ford, in their service department, FOR OVER A MONTH. It was brought in on July 1, for a repair under the company's "customer satisfaction, one-time repair program," and has been there since. They haven't called us once for updates; every call has been initiated by my husband, and he's been told various things each time: "waiting to hear if your repair is covered under the program," "waiting on a part," tracing wires," (heard that more than once) "hopefully you'll be hearing from us within 24 hours," (got that one multiple times) and on and on. No apologies whatsoever for how long this is being dragged out, either. And we've been denied a rental car, even after weeks of this, unless we want to pay $60/day, because they still can't tell us if our repair will be covered under the program. Just to be clear, the issue is corrosion in the battery junction box, causing damage to the wires to the point that the car won't start, so it's not like we can just pick it up and drive it somewhere else to be repaired. Or even use it, while we get this sorted out. We've had to get corporate involved, and last we heard was that Park Ford (finally!!!) sent pictures on July 28 to see if our repair would be covered, but we shouldn't expect to hear anything until Monday, Aug 7th. they kept my vehicle for 3 weeks and never done anything cause I believe they have the most poor quality of technicians and service ever also management there only to protect and try to show there staff is the best and that's not true at all ... won't deal with them ever again. every time my vehicle stays there for 2-3 weeks without any repairs and I believe they don't know what's going on. bad experience as usual and just a waste of time and money. read more

My engine blew and It was taken to park ford. Took about 3 months for my engine to come in. About 2 weeks after the received the engine I asked for an update on if it was in they got it I'm a couple days later. I kept asking for updates as they had it for almost 2 weeks after the engine came in they ended up getting it done. I picked it up and 25 minutes into my drive home my oil light, battery light came on and my rpm gauge was fluttering. It was fine a couple minutes later but the next day not even having it for 24 hours it did it again and the car wouldn't turn on. I had it towed back to them where I found out Tammy the tech didn't plug in my wiring harness in all the way. Susan made a statement that because I rushed them by asking for updates and etas that Tammy probably just tried her hardest to get it out. Susan also told me that she wished people who get mad and upset could go work her job for a day and see how it is. I asked jeff for a refund on my tow since I didn't even have it for 24 hours and he looked at me like I was stupid but did refund it. They fixed the wiring harness and I got it back. I had my car looked at by another shop and my hood does not align anymore, the front end was loose, my ac wasn't charged, air deflector wasn't bolted into anything , my under shield was never put back on and my alignment is now off. I took it back they blew me off on everything and put my under shield back on. They kept my under shield but did not put it back on. read more

Lied to me about my recall so they didn't have to fix it!!!!! Watch out!!!!!!!!! I had a recall on my ford power steering!! So i took it in to get fix.(couldn't get an appointment for two weeks) I knew the whole steering column needed to be replaced I have paperwork. (An looked it up) I told the guy so I can get a rental car cause I know it will take a day or so. He said well if you don't have a recall then u will have to pay for the car! Again looked it up so I no and receive the paper in the mail. So I said ok that's find it's 35$ an I have to pick up my kids An go to work. So he called me within an hour my car was done! An tells me he ran a diagnostics to confirm MY CAR DOES NOT qualify for the recall. The failure is not from the recall and want me to pay 2,000. Nope!!!! So I took my car cuz somehow it had power steering cuz they fixed the little wire that was coming out of the motherboard that was soldered in and should never come out but somehow it was out when I got there. 10 days later it goes out again I called he gets me in the next morning!! Wow fast right. Well he thinks I'm paying 2,000. I didn't no that!! He tells me it's not on them to fix An didn't even look at it!! So I started to ask some questions and they seem very nervous! So I call ford to see about the recalls again an she tells me no you don't have a recall anymore. Said it was done when I took it in to Park Ford. She told me in their paperwork at the Ford recalls said it was replaced!! The motherboard the power steering column and it was reprogrammed!!!!! So park ford lied to me said the recall did not show up for the car in the computer system An did not work on my car!!! Told ford recall it was replaced!!! Sorry but somebody should be in trouble for that!!! And now since they supposedly did the recall which didn't happen. I have Paper Work and all my phone calls recorded both customer service at park Ford and Ford recall saying so. I have to go back to this place for them to actually do it because they told ford recall that it was done but never did it. I'm soo mad!! Jus thought I was too dumb to Know. I wonder how many people didn't get the recall done. Anyone with a recall needs to call and make sure your paperwork matches because I can guarantee you it will not!!! I'll be posting this all over!!!! I calling ford. I'm going to make this a big deal!!!! This is not ok!!!!!! So I have to go there and watch every moment of them fixing it because I don't trust them at all. read more

I was in Kent, OH 600+ miles away from home to cover a college football game when the air conditioning compressor went bad on my Mustang. The screeching of the bearing was very alarming. I made an appointment for that Thursday as there wasn't any appointment openings for Wednesday. I went Wednesday morning hoping to get in due to a cancellation. Brooke in Service told me they would do their best to squeeze me in. She understood my situation. I was grateful for that and patiently waited in their waiting room. They had coffee and hot chocolate available, comfortable seats and a TV. I had my laptop and there was a plug for me to plug-in. An hour and half later Brooke came in and told be they were able to look at it and that it was the Air Conditioning compressor (I thought it might have been the alternator). She told me they could get the parts and fix it that day. I gave her the go ahead and was extremely grateful. She kept me posted throughout the day. Everyone at this dealership is top notch! I checked in with her at 3:00 and she knew exactly where things were at. They were charging the new compressor. I was done on time to get to the football game I was covering (I'm a professional sports photographer). I would highly recommend this dealership to everyone! If you want top notch dependable service for your vehicle, this is the place to go. They took good care of me! I will consider getting my next car from them even though they are 600+ miles away from home. I live in Saratoga Springs, NY. I had purchased a used vehicle from Loudon Motors Ford, in Minerva (they SUCK!!!), and after speaking with the apathetic salesman who sold the truck to me, Drue Hagan(remember this name so you DO NOT EVER deal with him), who refused to correct HIS DEALERSHIP'S MISTAKES, I was looking to find a place to take my truck. I found Park Ford, and called them. I initially spoke with Jared, in the service department, who very politely listened to my story, then put me on a brief hold. Pete came on and had me explain my situation, suffering through my "rant" about the OTHER dealership(but with good grace and humor), then said I could bring it in and they could check it out, just to be sure. I did and spoke again with Pete, who was able to confirm my truck had the features I knew they had, but that Drue, from Loudon, claimed it DIDN'T (this was just to avoid getting me my new key fob). Pete, got Bill, a service technician, to come look and they were able to fix my "admin" key problem while I waited. (Drue, from Loudon, suggested I PURCHASE a new fob and PAY to have it programmed.) As Pete typed in my truck's details, and my info, a recall popped up. (Hmmmmm....Loudon Motors Ford seemed to have MISSED that when they "serviced" my truck before delivery. Did I mention this company SUCKS?!?) Pete said I could get the recall fixed AND my key problem fixed, for the bargain price of $65.00, for the programming. SOLD!! I was having nightmares of a new fob at close to $200 PLUS another $300 to have it programmed. Ugh. Altogether, I got a recall fixed, a key reprogrammed AND I was out the door in less than an hour. Pete also hooked me up with a really cool Park Ford hat, and keychains for my keys. I will be back for all my future truck needs. Thanks Park Ford!!! read more

I've leased two cars from Park Ford. They are always so kind. I was new to leading and Tracy explained everything so well two years ago I leased again this time. They follow up to make sure your car is running as it should. I received calls when I was due for an oil change or tire rotation. Last week I leased my second vehicle and again I couldn't be happier. They walked me through turning in my lease, how my new C Max Energi works, leasing again. I'm really happy with my C Max! The 200 MPG I'm averaging in the City is absolutely amazing!!! I took my car in for a recall which seemed to go fine but when I got my car back there were scratches on the shiny black keypad on outside of car. The rep that was helping me called the manager and he said to take it to detailing and they could buff it out. When she came back with car, it was better but then we noticed 2 large scratches across the shiny black console inside my car. The rep tried buffing them out which again helped but didn't take the scratches away. I trusted my car to this dealership and they caused scratches on my car which I have taken very good car of. I am so upset and needless to say, I will never take my car back to this dealership again. I am now trying to find out how I can repair this damage on my own. read more

Hands down the most incompetent, rudest service department around. Made an appointment on 8/21 for 8/24 for safety recalls on my 2014 Escape. Called and gave my full VIN to the service department, confirmed there were 4 outstanding recalls, gave my name and number and he entered it into their computer, unfortunately due to pure incompetence he somehow listed the info for it under our old vehicle a 2010 Escape. Called again on to 8/22 make sure everything would be completed on the 24th because we were leaving early on 8/25 for a trip assured us it would be done. Called again on 8/23 to see if I could add an oil change, they said they could and we would be taken care of. Dropped vehicle off early in the morning and dropped keys through the service door, was not given any other instructions, did not hear anything from anybody all day today even though I had an early appointment. Called at 5:30 to see if it was finished so I could pick up, he asked for my name and then VIN because my name did not give him any info, had to call me back and then told me that somehow all my service info was entered under the 2010 and they had no idea who's keys or vehicle was left, so they moved it to the back and where it sat all day untouched, he stated they spent all day waiting for someone to call in to let them know why that vehicle and keys were left since it wasn't in the computer. I can not believe no one in the Service Department was smart enough to figure out that this was the vehicle that was left there for service that had an existing appointment, and on top of it, if they thought I had an appointment for 2010 Escape and did not show, why didn't someone call me? They could not tell me how this happened even though they obviously entered my full VIN into their computer in the very beginning of this fiasco because they pulled up all the recalls that needed done, they were all for a 2014 not a 2010. Needless to say I was not very happy and let him know I would never bring another vehicle to them again, and was going to take it somewhere else to get the recalls done, and thanks for wasting my time. As this was finishing up my wife was being dropped off to pick the vehicle up, the service advisor was EXTREMELY RUDE, ARROGANT AND CONDESENDING TO HER, because I had let him know how unbelievably incompetent their service department must be to let something like this happen, so he took it out on her. After all the phone calls during the week how could something like this possibly happen? I usually take my vehicles to Klaben Ford, where I have never had an issue, but since Park was closer, I made the huge mistake of taking it to Park and completely wasting my time. After purchasing my Focus from Park Ford, I will probably never go to any other dealer ever again. I was at work and they allowed my husband to take the car off the lot, all the way to Barberton, so I could test drive it on my lunch break. Who does that?! Anyway, I fell in love with the car and decided to buy it. I went to the dealer as soon as I got out of work that day and went home with the car once all the paperwork was signed. Super easy! The staff are very laid back and do not try to play games with you. You either want to buy a car or you don't and they let YOU make that decision. Rated as a 1 only because 0 was not an option. This place lies to cover lies and lies more once caught in lies. Worst service department and customer service experience I have ever been part of. My daughters vehicle was in their service department for over 130 days , went to pick it up once they stated it was done ,only to find missing parts and broken wire harness . Poor shoddy workmanship. Frank, the service writer called to give an update after hours from the bar on his cell phone, Jeff the service manger sent texts @ 9:40 at night and is like dealing with a child who was to have the last word. At this point I involved the owner Mike. At first he seemed like is was going to help, which turned out to be false, turned very rude and argumentative . After a week the called and stated again it was ready to be picked up , picked it up to find the vehicle had not been aligned like they stated it was, took it back on Saturday for alignment . Got a phone call to pick up at 4 , showed up at 4 to find that "VEHICLE IS NOT SAFE TO DRIVE" per the tech working on it. Picked up on Thursday vehicle seemed okay. However Monday vehicle overheated again and had to be towed to dealership. This is why the vehicle was first taken in. To sum it up , we are now over 145 days and vehicle is still not repaired properly !!!! read more

Bought my Mustang new in '11 and the experience was so good that I think a review is warranted. I was stepped through the sales process at a very considerate pace, given a very fair trade in amount for my used car and was treated (and still am) with the professionalism that made the experience enjoyable and memorable. I still take the drive from Cleveland to Akron because I get free oil changes for life as part of the deal. They also earned my business for any after market products that I seek and when I am in the market for a new car I know exactly where I am going. I think they try so much harder is because they're not the big fish so they work their best angle which is excellent customer care and a family centered environment in the facility. Heck any place that offers fresh popped caramel corn is a winner in my book! Consider Park Ford a destination if you will be in the market for a new vehicle(Mustang baby!!!) Cheers! read more

The follow up of my story of my wife Ford Focus. I took the car in again for the transmission was do same old problems of rolling in gear, slipping, shuttering ,downshifting too much and up shifting too much. I left the car and they gave me a nice loaner car to drive. They then had car for 5 and one half weeks in their service department. I got a call saying the car was done. It drove like a dream for 1 week. Then all of the above mentioned problem returned. We were done with this car. I ended up trading it in on a new car at a another local non Park Ford dealership. They gave us $10,500 for a car with less than 10,000 miles on it and less than 2 years of age. I a hoping to receive a settlement from Ford for some of my loss. As I have just written a review of the dealership where I did buy my truck, I thought I'd be sure to write one for the place I DID NOT buy my truck, nor will ever see a dollar of my money. I found a truck on AutoTrader at Park Ford I was willing to buy basically sight unseen, as I had to drive 10 hours to get there. I spoke with 2 or 3 salesmen and told them of my traveling distance. I clearly informed them that this was a done deal if the truck was everything it looked like, going so far as to arrange financing online with them before arriving. 6 hours before I am to leave, I did not receive a call, but HAD to call to be told they sold the truck. I take that back. They sent a TEXT that the truck had been sold. One sentence, period. Lousy. Park Ford should not post cars on AutoTrader if you will not hold them after someone goes so far as to arrange financing through you. A real lousy way to do business. Plain lousy. read more

By far the worst customer experience I've ever received. I've never been treated so poorly. Talked over, laughed at and even hung up on by the owner of the dealership; Mike Iemma. Truck has been in the shop for 45 days as of today. 2017 F-150 was dropped off to their service department because of a loud grinding noise. I took a video of the noise on my cell phone. Went for a drive with the Service manager, Mark, on January 6th so he could hear the problem. Truck didn't grind, but the service manager thought he knew what the problem was based off the video on my cell phone. Parts were ordered. Parts turned out to be on a national back order from Ford. Parts were received on February 8th and truck as test drove. No grinding noise, per the dealership. Truck was returned to me on February 12th. I drove the truck home from work and the grinding noise persisted. I returned the truck to Park Ford on February 14th. Per Park Ford, they test drove the truck again and again and couldn't get it to make the grinding noise. Service on my truck was denied to me because Park Ford wouldn't get "paid" by Ford by tearing into my truck again without them hearing the grinding noise to pinpoint the problem. Although when the truck was turned into them on January 6th, the service manager never heard the noise while road testing it with me! Only from my cell phone video did he hear the noise! Dealership owner and service associates were completely unprofessional throughout this process. Was told "I'm mad at the wrong person" to push the blame onto another associate. I will NEVER buy another vehicle from this dealership, or another Ford vehicle. Apparently I'm going to have to drive this truck until the wheels fall off.. I bought my car at another Ford dealership (in Cuyahoga Falls) who flatly refused to fix any-thing on my so call 30 day warrantied car ! Park Ford said we know about that dealership & we do a lot of their customer pay/warranty work as well ! Well guess what, Park Ford has won another loyal customer who totally cares about your concerns and treats you with respect ! By the way, I had several codes read & explained what they were plus how to correct ! I did have them fix the dead alternator that was very hard to get at & recommended me to bring them a after market unit in to be installed ! Now the nightmare the other dealership is done & over with (except for the restitution part for all the costly repairs they refused to correct) ! Thanks to Park Ford service department my car has been fixed ! By the way, the other car dealership thought my problem with the alternator was not a problem & I should just live with it ! If your looking for a great car/truck dealership to buy/get repaired, come to Park Ford ! You won't be left in the dark with countless repairs or weather the problem was fixed the first time or not !
