    What a joke of a company , I don't care how many reviews you guys have terrible

    Ok, first off , come on guys! You claim to be the best auto shipping company with thousands of reviews yes all you do is broker out your vehicles to other companies that have zero standards, no insurance, and apparently they brokered out my car to a complete different company than was on the paperwork!! I had to take pictures , call you guys but you explain that this is explained in the terms If you are reading this, you need to get yourself a real company or even a company that has carriers and owner operators that can prove insurance get pictures of the drivers drivers license as well as the certificate of insurance that is issued to your name and address specifically so you can call the agent yourself and make sure that vehicle is fully insured when being transported not to mention make sure to call the dealer or whoever is going to be at pick up and make sure that they have all this info so they can check the insurance the Vin DOT and MC numbers on the truck and the drivers license of the driver. This is purely a suggestion because I'm so pissed off and I never ever want this to happen to anybody or anybody to go through this again and I can't believe this company is still even in business when this has happened so many so many times and it's all over the Internet and all they do is just hide it and hide it by throwing money at and Advertising Over it with fake reviews! Ha the truth always comes out! Unfortunately for you guys , I looked it up and according to FMC essay it is not legal to double broker vehicles, and absolutely not legal. If you are not even letting the client know, and then ignoring their calls I have used you guys for my mom's car in the past going to Florida and that was back in the day. There were no issues then so I'm not sure what happened to you guys but this is completely ridiculous , I cannot post pictures of the bill of lading because it has my personal address and my VIN number and vehicle information from the original company you guys got me but if anybody would like to see they can message me and I'll show them that as well as the pictures of the truck that pulled up to my house that I took of their VIN number and the sign with DOT numbers on the side of the little pick up and MC number that did not match the paperwork at all. The guy did not speak English at all , and I am not being discriminatory at all, but you guys assured me that the driver would at least be able to communicate with me, but he had to use Google Translate on his phone and we could not even communicate not only that, the person that I was speaking to thinking that it was the driver. The whole time was not the driver. It was actually a different person that was a dispatcher from another company, the one you guys dispatched it to through a load board. I have done my research now and it is disgusting that you guys call yourself and Auto Transport company because you are the furthest thing from it and are just middle men making $200-$500 off each load for doing absolutely nothing and just posting it to a board for another company to take and do all the work. I wish you guys no luck because of the way I was treated because of the damage on my vehicle and because apparently your insurance doesn't cover any of it and their insurance is not active , thank you for all your help and you will be hearing from my attorneys !!!!! Also, my insurance agent said that they will be filing a claim against you guys so please stop ignoring me and actually send me the paperwork from both companies that were dispatched my vehicle and then the one that handled my vehicle without permission from me or apparently you? Really seems like you guys have the process down and by reading just the top reviews that came up when I looked up your page I could see you guys are heading downhill, especially when you don't wanna pay for damage that technically you guys are responsible for whether or not your contract states that so everyone please be careful and definitely read the contract fully and do not let them for you. They do not have trucks and they are not carriers at all. They just throw your car on a load board, for the cheapest price possible so that anybody can take it whatever company calls them to pick it up all they do is apparently verify a certificate of insurance that anybody can make which is a joke because mine was fake and there is no insurance for this company or does DOT number. You guys make me sick!! will never ever ever use you or recommend you guys to anybody ever again

    Timing once booked was excellent. Communication pretty good. Price with discount was a definite plus. Would be 5 star but a problem at drop-off point. Montway specifies the importance of the bill of lading, as it relates to any damage to your vehicle. My trucker didn't use a BOL and only gave the option to sign and not indicate any damages. Bumper and windshield were damaged and there was no resolution by Montway to help. Just a denying email from them. Overall though, there are an outrageous amount of scam companies out there it's a full time job weeding out who is legit and who is not. Montway is legit. Just don't expect a flawless move.

Full story: We had engaged another broker to transport our car from Boston to California and the other broker pulled a bait and switch tripling the originally quoted price. Needless to say we cancelled our order with that broker leaving us in a pinch. When I called Bobby, I was very skeptical of auto shippers because of the other broker. He was very patient with me, explaining everything and assuring us he would deliver on his promises. I had read all the great reviews on Yelp so I decided to go for it. Within an hour he had located a driver and had the driver's dispatch call me to coordinate a pick-up time and what we could expect upon delivery. When the truck arrived to pick-up our car, the driver was very professional and documented the condition of the car while keeping me informed of everything he was doing. When he finished, I was shown everything he had noted and was provided an electronic copy to my email. Our car was delivered right to our door and in excellent condition. I will never go with anyone else when shipping a car, Bobby and Van 3 Auto Transport are top notch.

I thought the price was more than fair, and less than I expected. They work with you on every detail front the pricing, to the pickup and timing of delivery, communicating back & forth with the driver and keeping the customer informed of the status. Similar to a moving van, there's a window of time for pickup/delivery but they coordinate it all with you. I love the attention to detail and REALLY appreciate that the goal is to ensure the customer knows what's going on at every step. The pricing was "all inclusive" with no hidden fees which I also really appreciate. Sounds like they're based out of Chicago but can handle business from anywhere in the country which is awesome. It's nice to know I can use them for the return trip as well. This interaction exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend using Lightning Car Transport for your transportation needs!! I feel like Montway was a bit deceptive in the quote however. The initial quote was raised because the car was "modified", but in reality it had been stretched 1.5 ft in the front. This was not an issue for the transport, as the driver had a trailer that hauled 2-3 vehicles. Montway rep said on the phone that $200-$300 would be charged to my credit card and the rest would go to the driver, and I received an email stating that $1370 would be owed to the driver on delivery. In reality, Montway charged my card $499, and sent another email stating to only pay the driver $1,100, which I did, but it felt deceptive. I am guessing that Montway got a way better deal from the driver than they anticipated, and instead of passing some of that saving on to me, or explaining, they just charged my card double what the rep said they would and kept all of the profit. Also, the rep promised tracking, which never happened - we had to call the driver a couple of times to find out the delivery time, because he hit traffic (which I understand he cannot control) and got held up by a couple of hours. All in all, it is done, but Montway didn't leave the best impression overall as a transport broker. Grateful I had a better driver than some of these other reviews...

    This review is based on being charged cancellation fee even though I clearly request cancellation…read morewell before anyone was dispatched. On Monday, June 15th, 2026, at 7:59AM PST time, I sent a cancellation request on my outlook email as specified exactly in there terms and condition as followed to the email of info@montway.com. Section 9: c. Cancellation of an Order by Customer must be submitted in writing via email sent to info@montway.com. Cancellations made via telephone, text, chat or any other medium will not be accepted by Montway. No one was dispatched yet when that email was sent that. I have uploaded the receipt of the email to this complaint On Wednesday. June 17th, 11:37AM PST, I received an email that a driver was dispatched even though my cancellation was well before that. I was told on call on Wednesday that I would be charged because someone was dispatched. Why was someone dispatched when I clearly cancelled the order well before that? As specified in their terms and condition: a. Customer may cancel an Order at any time at no cost or cancellation fees as long as the Order has not yet been accepted by a Carrier. They claimed on call they could not find the email record and claimed I will be charged the cancellation fee. I would be happy to work with Montway, the BBB, and outlook, to show proof of this email receipt that was was sent to their email at info@montway.com. I have provided them the receipt of the email record on the phone call and in chat and it was still not resolved. As of now this is also a filed complaint with the BBB and will be disputed with my bank if it comes to that. Edit: I see the reply below and you could message me at-least to find out my order. Why would I post the order number publicly? Edit 6/22/2026: In my BBB complaint reply by Montway, it was confirmed that I did indeed DID contact them before. I am getting my refund and will keep track of this. For everyone who has or will have this issue, please file a BBB complaint and attach Montway's terms of service in addition to your email as track record if you ever encounter this issue.

    I had to ship a car from Chicago to Boston and after my experience with this company I cannot…read morerecommend them enough. I chose the shipping company based on reviews alone and the price being under $1,000 for my tank of an SUV was just a bonus. My first positive with this company is that unlike many of the more popular companies across the US, they are not just a broker and they actually hire and employ their own drivers, so they actually know the person who is delivering your car. This company also did such an amazing job with communication. Not only did they call and text me with updates but when I did call I mostly talked to the same person and they knew my info with just my name and number. Also, I gave them the contact of the agent at the dealership where they picked up from and they communicated beautifully with them as well. Lastly, my car arrived beyond earlier than expected and without a scratch on it! The car was picked up on Tuesday so I didn't expect it to arrive until the weekend or early the next week, but my car was dropped off early Friday morning and the driver called me himself when he was about 45 minutes away and called me again when he arrived to arrange the drop-off. Not to mention that I live in the inner city and the delivery driver unloaded the car like a true professio I can't recommend this company enough, thank you USA Auto Transport of Chicago!
