Full story: We had engaged another broker to transport our car from Boston to California and the other broker pulled a bait and switch tripling the originally quoted price. Needless to say we cancelled our order with that broker leaving us in a pinch. When I called Bobby, I was very skeptical of auto shippers because of the other broker. He was very patient with me, explaining everything and assuring us he would deliver on his promises. I had read all the great reviews on Yelp so I decided to go for it. Within an hour he had located a driver and had the driver's dispatch call me to coordinate a pick-up time and what we could expect upon delivery. When the truck arrived to pick-up our car, the driver was very professional and documented the condition of the car while keeping me informed of everything he was doing. When he finished, I was shown everything he had noted and was provided an electronic copy to my email. Our car was delivered right to our door and in excellent condition. I will never go with anyone else when shipping a car, Bobby and Van 3 Auto Transport are top notch.

Their reviews seemed good enough. Communication was through Yelp and it was rather sporadic and delayed. We didn't receive updates unless we followed up. There were so many miscommunications regarding the pick up of our vehicle. We were told that we would be contacted by a driver within a 3-day pick up window. This call never came. TWICE. We had to go through scheduling a vehicle pick-up two different times due to various excuses and circumstances that were never communicated to us until after the fact. Our car was supposed to arrive to WA the same day we moved in. We had planned for that weeks back. Due to the continuous delays, lack in communication, and "unforeseen circumstances," we were left without a car in WA for 1.5 weeks. Moving is already a stressful process. This service was supposed to make it easier, but it only added to the stress. Timelines were not honored or respected. Do not go with them unless you're not particular about your car arrival! They also do not have tracking!

I worked with Rossi who always returned my phone calls and answered any questions that I had. She then called and emailed me when a driver was scheduled. She provided clear information about the pick up date, estimated delivery date, cost, form of payment accepted, and the driver's contact. The driver, Khas, was easy to reach & delivered my car 2-3 days before the expected delivery date! I was really impressed with this experience as their communication is top notch. On the 14th he promised pickup on the 15th. Nothing happened. On the 16th, after I had to follow up, the car was finally picked up. Over the next five days, I sent two texts to Arno and one to the driver--not excessive--because no one was giving me any updates. Instead of doing his job, Arno ignored my messages and then sent a rude, childish text saying "everyone's fed up with you." I called to speak with him, no answer. left a voicemail, no answer. sent another text asking for him to call me, no answer. The driver, unlike Arno, was polite. He apologized and said he'd been waiting on dispatch (Arno) for info. I also learned from the original driver that a different driver would do final delivery--something Arno never bothered to tell me. Was it annoying that delivery was late? Yes, but it happens and I was willing to understand. Just don't accept his rude comments. The truth is simple: Arno dropped the ball, avoided me, and tried to deflect in order to cover it up. Terrible communication, zero accountability, and complete disrespect to a repeat customer. Not trustworthy. Not professional. Not smart. EDIT: I changed this to a 2 star review because ownership reached out to me, took accountability and genuinely seemed concerned about my experience. Price was reasonable and I was able to do guaranteed pickup and drop off on scheduled dates which was very helpful as I moved across the country and had very specific dates. I did feel pressured to book quickly in the beginning which only added to the stress of moving. My car was picked up and dropped off on time and without damage so I'm grateful for that. The biggest issue I had was the lack of communication from Montway to the dispatched carriers. My carrier was changed three times, which is fine and didn't bother me, but Montway did not effectively communicate these changes to all the carriers. I ended up getting calls from several different drivers on the day of pick up so it was very unclear who would actually be picking up my car. Overall, my experience was fine and the goal was achieved, but it could've been better.
