Got initial online quote but spoke on the phone and agreed to pay a bit more for a specific pickup window (Fri 6:30pm - Sunday). Avoid We Ship Cars. This company was unprofessional, unethical, and caused us significant financial loss. We Ship Cars bid on our contract through UShip to transport our BMW from Lawrenceville, GA to Salt Lake City, UT. They advertised vehicle pickup within "1-3 days of availability" which is why we selected them. Our car was available on 12/18, yet it was not picked up until 12/23, a full six days later, well outside their advertised window. At pickup, We Ship Cars provided a delivery date of 12/26. Weather and road conditions looked good so we thought we would still be able to leave for our Alaskan vacation late evening of12/28. From the moment our vehicle was picked up, communication effectively ceased. There was: * No GPS tracking * No website tracking * No telephone tracking * A driver phone number that was disconnected Repeated calls to We Ship Cars went unanswered, and promised callbacks "within 10 minutes" never occurred, forcing us to repeatedly initiate contact ourselves. After calling three times on the scheduled delivery date (12/26), we were finally informed late in the afternoon that our car was still in Texas and would not be delivered until 12/29 - a delivery date that was then again later extended. The vehicle ultimately arrived in Salt Lake on the morning of 12/31, representing a five-day delay and a missed vacation. The reason for the delay? An unrelated customer canceled their shipment, and We Ship Cars chose to delay our delivery so they wouldn't have to drive with an empty spot on the trailer and lose $. Their representative explicitly admitted this. Let me be very clear: This delay had nothing to do with "weather, road conditions, or mechanical issues" (per contract). It was a business decision to protect their profit at our expense. Their business decisions caused us to miss our scheduled flight, lose $1200 in airline tickets, and ultimately miss our vacation entirely. Given our lack of trust in the safe delivery of our vehicle, we needed to be present upon its arrival (vs delegating that responsibility to someone else). Despite the delay being caused by an issue completely unrelated to us, We Ship Cars accepted no responsibility or compensation. During a phone call, a representative threatened to leave our car in a random parking lot in Texas or Oklahoma for us to retrieve if we did not accept their position. Given the seriousness of that threat, we chose not to continue engaging via email or phone and tried to mediate the situation via UShip (broker) to no avail (due to their lack of customer service availability which was a separate issue). From start to finish, We Ship Cars demonstrated a lack of professionalism: * Advertising pickup timelines they did not meet * Missing delivery dates * Providing no functional tracking system * Failing to communicate proactively or at all * Shifting responsibility onto unrelated customers * Making coercive and inappropriate threats regarding our vehicle We Ship Cars' dispatching practices and customer service were deeply flawed, and they showed little concern for the financial and personal consequences their decisions imposed on us. Don't use them, their sales people make promises that they cannot fulfill and they don't communicate with you when things go wrong. We used them to move our car from California to Rhode Island. When talking to their sales rep on the phone they offered "guaranteed pick-up" on a specific day for a little extra, and we agreed since that was most convenient. We booked more than two months in advance, and planned our timeline around the supposed guarantee they offered. That day approaches and we have not heard from them, the day before we call them and are told they will try to get it tomorrow, they haven't even worked on it yet. On the day, we call several times (they never call us) and are told that there are simply no trucks going where we need to go. We would later find out this was not actually the problem, their employees was just terrible at communicating. So we need to leave our car with a friend while we move, which we were paying extra to avoid. Several days go by and the car is still not picked up. In this time, they never give us any updates, we don't get a single call from them. Eventually, we call them and finally the rep admits the real problem; they messed up and quoted us too low a price! Fuel prices had risen and no truckers were accepting our job. Instead of telling us this, WeShipCars were just repeatedly lowballing the truckers hoping someone would take it. We asked how much more it would be to get up to market price, turns out only $200 more. We agree and they find a trucker an hour later. We were already spending more than that on extra rental car charges because we had planned on having the car sooner. They cost us hundreds of dollars extra, and made us rearrange our plans at the last minute, and all that could have been avoided if they told us from the beginning that they needed to change the price! read more

I can't overstate how angry and frustrated I am with this shady shipping company, WeShipCars, aka US Trans Shipping LLC. Here's what happened: I needed to ship my car from Florida to Texas on very short notice--ideally the same day or next day. After shopping around and getting several quotes, I chose WeShipCars based on what looked like solid reviews on Google and elsewhere. That turned out to be a huge mistake. Their rep Geno called me immediately after I requested a quote online. I explained I needed a carrier ASAP. He assured me a driver would pick up the car tomorrow between 2-3 PM. Based on that promise, I accepted their quote--even though it was the highest I received. Next day I waited until 3 PM with no call, no driver. When I called them for an update, they said the driver was delayed. Later, they said he wouldn't come at all and promised a new pickup at 9 AM the next morning. Once again, no driver, no call. I followed up again and was told the driver had been canceled and they were looking for someone else. Hours passed, no updates. Eventually, they claimed a new driver would arrive between 2-3 PM. Of course, 3 PM came and went--still nothing. Around 5 PM, just as I was about to cancel, I got a call from the dealership saying the driver had finally shown up. What a relief--until things got worse. They promised delivery by Sunday evening or Monday morning and sent me an electronic BOL with a tracking link. The next morning, I checked and saw the car hadn't moved--it was still sitting 20 minutes from the pickup location. When I called to ask what was going on, they had no idea. Turns out, the driver who picked up my car had quit and left the truck, trailer, and my car at a random repair shop. And the company didn't even know. I demanded they cancel the shipment and refund my deposit. Thankfully, my dealership's salesperson agreed to retrieve the car and bring it back. On top of everything, the now-quit driver took both car keys with him--I had to call him directly to get them back. WeShipCars did nothing to help resolve any of this. Ultimately, I had no choice but to fly to Florida and drive the car back to Texas myself, which caused significant disruption to my plans and ruined my weekend. What's even more frustrating is that they didn't show an ounce of responsibility or remorse. No real apology, no effort to fix anything--they just left me to deal with the mess on my own.
