1st time at this car wash, but my girlfriend has the membership which made the car way really quick and easy. I personally don't come here after damage my received at the Elk Grove/Calvine location, that they refused to cover due to the age of my car. Which means I was stuck payong for the repairs. This time through, we were washing our newer Telsa without an issue in the cycle. There was however some issue with the track system we were on, as at one point when we were to turn the vehicle once on the track. We heard a loud thud type sound. As one of our wears actually popped slightly off track and came slamming back down into the system. It was so loud actually that I had to get out after and check our rim to make sure there wasn't any damage. read more

My car needed a wash so decided to try them out. I came on a Sunday morning and they had a line. It was my first time here so I did not know what to expect. There was a staff at the pay station. He was helpful and friendly. I went with the Express plan and added tire shine for $2. I should have went with the Works lol. After I paid, I waited for my turn to get into the wash station. They first rinse my car and then off my car went. The cleaning process was quick. Afterwards, there were 2 staff out in the exit manually hand drying the cars with towels. They were friendly and quick. I pulled over to a parking lot to examine my car. I noticed some residues left behind. Overall, it was a good wash. Great location. There's an Attendant to assist when you enter. Came for a much needed car wash. I signed up via text & my first wash was free. Car wash was quick and convenient. There's a dryer after your car has been washed. As you exit, there's someone to towel dry your side view mirrors. There's also vacuums. They're ok. I paid $18 to get my car washed. Once through the car wash, I discovered the whole back of my car around the license plate was dirty. The whole back bumper was clean in some places and very dirty in others. The panels at the bottom of the car, on each side, from tire to tire remained dirty and dusty. It was though it had been untouched through the cleaning process. The pre-cleaning attendant scrubbed the front of my windshield, the hood, and the back window, and that was it. There are discounts for multiple cars. Sometimes there is a line but doesn't usually take me 10 mins to get into the car wash with a line. The first part of the wash is done by a wash technician who apply bug remover and pre-soap. The best part of the wash is all cars are hand dried after the blowers. Went here to wash my own car and had a great experience. I had been using another self service place but Monty's is wayyyyyy better. For $10, I can use the washing bay for 15 minutes. The bays are big and the hoses are high up. The hoses don't touch my car like the other place so no more scratches! Lots of great options for cleaning and easy to vacuum without a time limit. I have been using this car wash for ~10 years (both the tunnel and the self-service) and I have always had a wonderful experience. Recently, I found some scratches on my car hood post-car wash (never happened at this location before) and Joel was extremely helpful and kind listening to my concerns. When this location was Kelly's you could earn free car washes and the stall washes were six dollars for 12 minutes. I'd come here just to unwind and listen to my music in my AirPods and wash my truck. When Monty's took over it was fine at first but then the prices started going up exponentially. They no longer offered earned free car washes and the soap in the stalls were sometimes nonexistent. I went there the other day to wash my truck because I was in a bit of a rush and went to pay and they wanted ten dollars...what?!?! Ten bucks for a fifteen minute wash. I've decided to wash my truck at home for free. It's just to much money to spend and you don't even earn free washes. The people who work there are pretty nice, but it's a little to steep for my pockets. read more

This is the only car wash I got to and I don't even live in Elk Grove. I tend to wash my car myself for $5.00 rather than use the automatic wash. You get a lot of time to wash your vehicle and there are a lot of options to use. The scrubbing brush always has a lot of soap come out and it's clear they aren't stingy with the product. The vacuums are free whether you decide to wash or not which is a huge plus. In fact, that's probably why I will always give them my business. It's always very clean here and the employees are nice. I love Monty's Express Carwash, particularly this location. This location was a Kelly's carwash for a long time, and I just recently noticed the name change. I've actually been going to this location for over 10 years, and have really enjoyed the customer service the longtime employees have always given. The prices are great, and if you order the most expensive wash you get a 50% discount on your next visit within two weeks. It's always nice to be able to vacuum your car, bring a towel so after they hand dry your car you can maybe dry all the little spots like in between the door jams. Overall, this place is great! Its cool getting an excellent carwash in a few minutes, and the prices are very reasonable. You can't go wrong here, if I lived in Elk Grove I'd be coming at least every other week. My call was first transferred to a different location and the lady said I'd receive a response the very next day since management was out that day. (2 days passed and still no response lol): Literally had my car washed here about an hour ago. Their machine didn't wash my whole lower left side of the car and slightly the same on the opposite side. It could've been avoided if the two gentlemen that wiped after, actually wiped anything off. That failed all together. Mind you I would've said something if I had stepped out and used their vacuum because it's so noticeable! I seen it once I got out of my car at a shopping center, took photos, and tried calling them but it went straight to a different location. Very annoying because I don't live in the area and am customer at their other location, of which I never have issues with their machine or wipers missing a significant amount. My car is stock and not lowered so I have no clue how that happened. read more
