Stopped by Quick Quack Car Wash near Dutch Bros recently and it made me realize how different car washes can feel depending on what kind of wash you're looking for that day. Quick Quack is definitely built for speed and convenience. I went pretty early in the morning and there were no lines at all, which made the whole process super quick. The place was very clean and well organized, and I also noticed they had lots of vacuum stations available afterward. One thing I appreciated was that they even had rags available if you wanted to do a quick spot dry or touch up a few areas yourself after the wash. That said, it's a very different experience compared to Monty's, which is still one of my personal favorites. At Monty's they prep the car before it goes through the wash and then hand dry it afterward, which gives it more of that "hand wash meets car wash" feel. Quick Quack feels more like a fast and efficient exterior wash, while Monty's focuses more on the little details. Helpful tip: if you want a quick in-and-out wash while you're already running errands, Quick Quack is a great option. If I hadn't said it before I wanna let you know I will drive across town to use this quick quack pond. The one closer to target is always super busy and there are never enough spaces to vacuum and dry your car. I like the staff at this location better too. There are always towels available and if you don't see any in the bin go closer to the building, they usually have baskets full there as well. read more

I'm not a huge fan of the quick car washes like these and my last experience at a Quick Quack was not the greatest. However, my usual spot down the road was closed and my car was in desperate need of a wash and vacuum. Also caved because my toddler enjoys sitting in the car during the wash. Great entertainment for her, I'll give them that. $23 for a non-member exterior wash. You vacuum yourself yet you are limited to only 10 mins. Better vacuum quick otherwise you're screwed like me not knowing you literally are on the clock for usage lol. Overall, my exterior wash was more thorough than my last visit. Cons were the price of it, having to vacuum on my own, and then the time limit. I'd only return as a last resort. read more

I've now had the same issue 2 to 3 times in a row at Quick Quack Car Wash, and it's honestly unacceptable. Every single visit lately, there have been no towels available. None to dry windows, none to wipe down the car, nothing. The last time I went, the place was packed and customers were literally asking each other for towels or using their own from home. That should never happen at a paid car wash, especially one that keeps raising prices. What makes it worse is the response from staff. When I asked if there were towels in the back or any way to get some, I got no real solution, just a shrug. No restocking, no explanation, no effort to fix the issue. Let's be clear. Drying your car is not an extra. It is part of the basic experience. If you are going to increase membership prices, then the quality of service should improve, not disappear. At this point, I am paying more for less. That does not make sense. If Quick Quack Car Wash is no longer providing towels, then customers need to be told upfront. Otherwise, this just feels like cutting corners while still charging full price. I am seriously reconsidering my membership if this is not addressed immediately. Bought the most expensive package and very disappointed. There was so much soap left on the car we almost had to rewash. Paid for the tire shine, that was a waste. Tires looked dirty still. The air dry is very lacking. Not enough vacuum stations. Everyone pulls into vac station to dry their cars. We waited 15 minutes but did not score a vac station. First time at quick quack and honestly I was so disappointed. It barely washed my car, it felt like they just threw water on it and called it a day and it left a bunch of water streaks all over. Great employees but this is probably the worst equipment among all of the quick quacks in sacramento. 1. The blower will not dry your car. Expect to get down and dry your entire car yourself especially if your car is lower to the ground. My car is riddled with thick water spots that are impossible to remove after visiting this location. I tried to fill out an incident report but they refused to acknowledge fault here. The whole car is stamped with these spots but the hood is the worst. 2. I bought the membership because the kids love car washes. This location hasn't cared to fix their glass projector (that the kids love) in over 6 months. It's just an annoying blob of light that hits your windshield when it used to be a nice animated duck. 3. Try one of the other locations that give you a bit more time under the blower like the one by taco bell on bruceville and consumnes. Unfortunately this location has an inherent flaw in the machihe that will require you to do half the drying yourself. read more

In November 2024, I went to a quick car wash to wash my Telluride as I normally do every week. This time as I'm sure some of you know the car wash will stop in the middle of your wash and they went out those started by hitting a button to restart the car wash, well when I felt Next was one of the brushes hit the back of my louver of my SUV. I didn't think much of it at the time but when we got out the car dry it off I saw you got scraped up pretty badly. I contacted his assistant manager and ask for the manager who was on vacation at the time. So I had to wait two weeks for her to return. I finally caught up with her a month later and she tells me she's going to send me the report number through my email. Which I never received I have my Insurance Company contact the corporate offers and contact her directly and they could never get a hold of the manager. I went by several times to try to contact the manager and to no avail, can't seem to catch up with her. She has not tried to return my calls. Very frustrated and unhappy with the level of service. My son and I decided to take his dads car to get washed and fill the tank up. Son says there's a new car wash near the house and has been many times.. Oldest son says the same thing.. My response, "I have a phobia".. because of two separate incidents .. I only go to a hand car wash or my dealership.. "No, no we will be fine"... Waiting for our turn and a beige Buick proceeds... then backs up, goes over the track and now unaligned.. This happens three times... the worker stops him and pushes the stop button on the second time.. Last time he hits the gas and in reverse and hits us... First time here two days ago and the gal that helped me was soo helpful with telling me all about it! I was so amazed I forgot, lol. This one is my least favorite in Elk Grove. Unfortunately it's also the closest. I have come before during business hours and they were Closing 2 hours early. Sometimes customer service is good and sometimes not. Yesterday I pulled Up and there was no person, or sign at the entrance. I waited at the entrance of the actual car wash before someone came outside 3 minutes later. It was confusing, and looked like it was closed at 3pm.. the attendant started the car wash and all was good.. but why are the towel bins ALWAYS EMPTY? I asked the attendant if there were towels and he said they were all dirty. I won't come back to this one. The other QQ's seem to have more employees and are consistent with hours and towels. read more

I signed up at the Mack road location for the ceramic duck Elk Grove is closer I've been to this location several times 3 out of 5 times I was given a lucky duck wash instead of ceramic duck The machines don't seem to do as good of a job as Mack road I've had to run my truck twice through the Elk Grove location to get clean I do like the fact that they have touch up towels handy But I wouldn't pay for the ceramic at this location I don't really see the benefit if you're not going to get premium wash read more

I don't prefer this location. The first reason being the corner lot that it's located is very inconvenient to get in and out of due to traffic and poor design of the parking lot. There is also only one check in gate. At other locations members don't have to wait to check in at the gate and can go through the membership lane. The second reason being that twice (at this location only), there was a malfunction with their conveyor belt that that almost caused me to hit another vehicle inside the car wash. My car was in neutral and something launched us forward. I had to step on the brakes to stop my car from hitting the one in front. It was very scary. This happened to me and my daughter on separate occasions. My daughter will never go back because of that scary experience. A third time we witnessed the same conveyor belt malfunction cause two other vehicles to collide and cause damage to each other. After that the car wash was down for repair for a while. So hopefully this issue has been fixed. The third reason (which prompted me to write this review today) is because after going there yesterday we immediately smelled a horribly foul smell once we were inside the car wash. We had to plug our noses through out the entire cycle. It's like the water they were using was dirty or contaminated. After getting out of the car wash we park to towel dry and vacuum. During so we still smelled the foul smell and noticed that there was a dirty film or residue on my car. It's like the water the car wash used was dirty. While driving I continued to smell the horrible smell after that. I will now need to go get another car wash today just to get rid of that smell. Isn't the point of a car wash to CLEAN your car? Not make it smell bad and leave residue behind. read more

Another new location opened in Elk Grove. It is very conveniently located right next to Hwy99. The employees here are friendly and the car wash tunnel seems to do a good job! The best of this location is they have so much vacuum parking after the car wash tunnel. Much more than the other Quick Quack locations in the area. read more

Hard to give a mediocre review for a free item, but unfortunately the wash was disappointing. As others have noted, this location is the former Blue Wave just off Highway 99. Quick Quack took over and is offering 12 days of free washes. I have used Quick Quack a number of times and the scent of their wash chemicals is different so I will guess they are using up the rest of the Blue Wave stuff. No big deal, but something I noticed. Wash was ok. Reasonably clean and worthy of a four star review if that was the end of the story. The issue I ran into is the wash included either too much tire shine or not enough drying at the end. I live about 10 minutes away and when I got home, I noticed numerous black specks behind each of my wheels. So I had to bring out the car wash bucket and clean it off. Whatever they use is not that easy to wash off so I spent 10 minutes on cleaning up after the wash. It would be a one star review if I had paid $20 for the wash, but three stars for the free wash. read more

As far as I know, I currently have the regular monthly car wash service. Since MY car sits under the Palm Tree(birds!), I can get a wash every time the car needs to look it's best. And that's normally when I get into the car. Compared to the West Sacramento Harbor Blvd car wash, this one has better vacuum facilities, but some of the vacuums are weak. They also supply cleaning towels, but only if you're lucky they are resupplied. It helps to bring your own towels. I suspect some customers take the towels instead of putting them into the receptacle. Very clean area and shaded. read more
