This is one of the best self-serve car washes I've used and I'm pretty picky. It's not perfect, but none of them are. I bring a slighly damp towel and a dry one for touch up. It takes me a few minutes to dry a few missed spots, and get a some stubborn bugs off. It doesn't do a great job on the wheels, so those have to be done by handl which is why I bring a damp towel. Someone mentioned soap on the inside mirrors which is true. It takes me 15 seconds to towel it off. Bottom line: I don't mind doing a little bit of work to avoid spending twice as much at a full service car wash. My car ends up cleaner than taking it to the Paviliions Car Wash for less than half the money. read more

I used this service in September and drove home. As I walked around the car I found a long vertical scratch on the hatch of my CRV. The car was only 3 months old and had no marks on it!. I drove back to Gilly's, made a claim, a worker took a picture - never gave me a copy - and then I heard nothing for months. I got an estimate for repairing my car ($1600) and returned to talk to the manager. He denied that the damage happened there, said his foam roller would never damage the car and showed me his Explorer saying no damage ever happens to his own car, therefore that proves my claim is a lie. I doubt he even kept a record of my claim. This looks like their business model: deny and deflect liability, bank on the odds that more satisfied customers outnumber the few cars they ruin. read more

I love their membership prices; best deal in town & the main reason why I'm still using their services. Their drying system is weak. My car is never dry and every time I open my door, water is leaking out underneath. My mirrors and windows are always wet; I have to get out of my car to towel dry them myself. And Im assuming their vacuuming is open to the public? Their vacuum actually works and sucks what it's intended for (take your mind out of the gutter) aka trash is what I'm referring to. There's a few times they would close because it was cloudy (with a chance of rain), but wasn't actually raining. Maybe call in advance before making a trip out there. read more

BEWARE! My credit card was compromised after my recent visit here when I used the dog wash. I had problems trying to pay for the dog wash when I swiped my credit card and now I know why, because there was a CREDIT CARD SKIMMER in it. I hate to give a mediocre review for that but the dog wash is literally next to the office so you'd expect it to be more secure. It appears you can buy tokens from the office so I'd highly recommend that instead of swiping your credit card. The dog wash was great to use. It literally has everything you need. If your dog is nervous around loud noises like mine, I wouldn't recommend taking your dog since the set up is outside next to the loud car vacuums. They do have chain leads to secure your dog in the tub, but mine was still able to jump over and out of the tub and stand up on the ground. With the cars constantly driving through it could be a disaster if your dog ran out in front of a moving car. read more

Was there at 7:10 am for a wash. Not open (listed hours say open at 7). Got gas, grabbed some food, came back around and still not open at 7:26. I had to leave to get to work and can't make it there before it closes. If it's consistently closed during posted open hours I will have to find a new place to frequent. The car wash broke a valve stem and chipped the paint on one of my rims. I showed the damage to one of the employees. He took pictures as well as I did. We looked at the video of my car entering the wash, showed no damage. They filed a claim and was told the manager would be in contact with me. Never heard from him. I returned several times to speak with him and he was never there. He had an employee call me to tell me they not going to do anything. Can't even get a response from corporate office. Totally worth the $16 a month. I usually don't wash my car every other day or so, but after getting this deal, I could wash my car 5 times a day if I wanted. So once you get the unlimited, they put a sticker on your driver windshield which scans when you drive up to the car wash. And the best part is there are two car wash attendant waiting to guide you through as well cleans your windshield, and you can tell them deep clean your rims too. After, you have the option to vacuum your car. One thing is, anyone can vacuum their car even without washing your car. The staffs their are pretty friendly to talk to if needed assistant. Gilly's car wash is awesome....almost forgot, they have a pet wash as well, right by the vacuum area. (although I don't have any pets) . read more

I love love love this car wash! I had been going to one in Lodi but this one is much better ! The system does push inward and outward my rear view mirrors but it's easily fixable, so glad I don't have to drive out of town, I have the membership so they put a sticker on your windshield and you fast pass right on in , everyone is very nice, helpful, and will provide any kind of assistance necessary to help out , the mat washing box is great, the only thing I wish they has was one of those 90's style perfume dispenser wand but it's all good . read more

Been to Gilly's carwash several times and I would say it's slightly better when comparing to Kelly Car Wash or Quick Quack. Of course with any quick car wash don't expect it to be spotless. Mine wasn't but it gets about 95% of the gunk out which I'm perfectly fine with for this level of service. But what I have issue with are the upgrades. I purchased the $16 package which includes tire shining and only 3/4 of my tires were shined. This is not the first time. Also, free vacuum is great but it's useless when the head is broken. I'm probably going to continue using their service but will probably do the basic package only. Its the best bang for your buck for a quick in and out. read more

Just left this location and I'm so pissed. 1st: My car is not clean and I just paid $16 2nd: They messed up my car. My car NEVER made a noise when I use the brakes or turn the wheel, now it sounds like I'm gridding gears when ever I use my brakes or turn. I went here because I had used this location before and it was okay, no major problems, but this time they f*cked up. I was pulling into the part that holds your wheels while you go through the wash and I head a loud grinding noise under my front driver side wheel. I was just hopeful that it was there machine making weird noises, nope I pull off to go home and turn a corner and my car makes a noise like it's running over some gravel. I'm here thinking that it's probably because this is the first time I'm washing this car at this car wash, then I hit my brake at a red and it makes that same noise again, now I'm sure that the loud grinding noise was my wheel getting caught in the gears. I'm going to make sure that my car doesn't have any damage during the day so I can see everything clearly, but I'm sure there is something wrong with my front wheel thanks to this HORRIBLE car wash. Edit: Not mention I've only had this car for 3 days meaning I know that I was this crappy car wash that scoffed my $700 wheels, looks like they have been curbed. read more

I went here to wash my dog and it was the first time I have been to a dog wash station like this. It was $10 for 10 minutes, which was a little pricey for a station like this as some groomers will do the service for you for $15. The station only accepts debit or credit card too btw. After the first 10 min, it's also $1/min. When I tried to buy 1 min, the machine charged my card for an extra 10. The manager promptly came over and refunded me for the machines mistake. The customer service from not only the manager but the staff was 5/5. This place doesn't get a full 5/5 stars due to price and due to the machine not accepting cash as some people may not have a card to charge for this service. read more

This car wash is good if your car is just dusty. If you're car is dirty with bird poop and dried insect guts this place will not do anything but wet your car. I got the most expensive wash and it didn't do anything noticeable. As I'm writing this review I'm going around wiping down the dead bug guts and other dirt off my car. This is a great car wash! Your car gets pre-washed prior to driving thru the wash and the car comes out clean. They have a monthly membership for those who wants unlimited car wash per month. The price for their unlimited wash ranges from $16 to $30 per month. So now, my car doesn't get as dirty. There are lots of vacuuming stalls where each side of the car has a vacuum to use. The workers are very friendly. If you have a dog, they also have a self service dog wash. I think this is great for those with big dogs. The dog wash is kept clean and cost $10. read more

Best automated car wash by far! I commute to the Central Valley where I mostly drive on dirt and gravel roads so I had 5 months of dirt and bugs baked. I purchased the Big Dog package, and as expected it removed about 80% of the dirt and the wheels were clean, but there were still bugs on the front bumper and mirrors. The assistant manager was kindly enough to give me a second wash, telling his staff to focus more on the mirrors and bumper. Second time out, about 90% clean, but there were still some stubborn bugs. Of course, you cannot expect a good hand-wash from an automated wash. I rarely go to a carwash, as I usually handwash and detail my vehicles. I will surely recommend and return for another wash. P.S. modern day carwash do not scratch paint anymore because they use closed cell foam material. read more

For the price ($8, $12, or $16), you get a state of the art car wash along with FREE vacuuming afterwards. Your car is pre-rinsed at the entrance and off you go into the tunnel water world. The vacuuming area was designed to fit customer needs- there are two vacuuming hoses for each side of the vehicle, making it incredibly convenient. I really was happy with their service, until just last weekend. The wash crew guide you onto the track. Well this time, I was guided to close to the outer side of it. The valve stem on my tire was damaged. About half way through the wash, the tire sensor turned on. About 3 minutes after leaving, I had a flat tire. I've canceled my membership, really bummed. I come here for a quick wash, convenience. Unfortunately it's not my first option. I'm very used to other car washes handing you a towel before you enter and then a worker at the end to wipe the remaining water. Sounds extra but 10/10 my car has a lot of water spots after the blow dry no matter the price I pay, high or low. I must say it was a nice addition to Galt. You get a free 15 minute vacuum with a wash and sometimes I don't even use the full 15 minutes so it's nice. Heard there's a dog wash here, haven't tried it here specifically so no comment on that. I came through for their top tier "big dog" wash today and proceeded to utilize their complimentary 15 minute self serve vacuum service. 15 minutes is more than enough time to vacuum out your car so it is fine with me that they limit you to 15 minutes to keep the flow of cars moving. While cleaning out the interior I realized that there was some black gooey substance spread and smeared on the side of my car. I finished cleaning out my car and went to the front to speak to an attendant. I was greeted by a visiting manager Steven from Galt and he took care of the issue promptly. He went onto explain why this may have happened, grabbed a rag to wipe down the inside of the wheel area where there was road tar buildup and then went on to use a microfiber towel to wipe off the tar from my car. He then sent me back through the wash to make sure I left with a clean car. Upon leaving I noticed him go into the bushes to pick up some fast food trash that was improperly tossed away. Excellent customer service and great employee to have! I'll definitely be back given how quickly I was helped. 4/5 because the wash required some extra attention. read more

More than a few times now as I drive past this Car Wash and they have the orange cones out. The employees then walk up to you and tell you they are closed. It's always the same excuse "something is wrong with the system" Come on Gilly!! Get it together. I'm really impressed with this car wash and the upgrades they've recently made. I have the monthly membership and am there usually twice a week since I drive so much. I always get a great wash and the attendants are friendly and helpful, which is hard to find these days. It's upsetting though to read some of the 1-star reviews left by customers who are complaining of "supposed" damage to their vehicles with non-factory parts. The bold sign at the entrance clearly states that you're entering at your own risk if you have aftermarket parts installed so why would you blame the car wash when something breaks? Seems pretty straightforward to me and seems unfair to leave bad reviews when you couldn't follow directions (or just didn't care). Only reviewing the dog wash. You get ten minutes only to wash your dog. It's a one nozzle does all thing and you have to disinfect the tube for the next people. Costed $10 for the wash. I have a small dog so it was doable in the time. Great place for a quick wash but I would say the soap and conditioner isn't the best like at pet stores.
