This cafe is stunning. The gold and white aesthetic is beautiful. It is also quite spacious with plenty of seating inside. Their menu is expansive with variety of coffee drinks, teas, refreshers, pastries, desserts and sandwiches. It tried the Brown Sugar Shaken Espresso and Spanish latte. Both tasted decent, but extremely sweet. I suggest asking for less sweet if you don't like super sweet drinks. They carry the same generic drink flavors and use the same pastry vendor as every other Yemeni coffee shop around. I'd recommend if you are looking for average coffee and pretty vibes.

Ambiance gets full points... a great place to hangout, plenty of room with beautiful decor. Food is decent. Service is ok.

Spacious Yemeni coffee spot with tons of seating and natural light (my favorite part), clean gold-and-white decor, and surprisingly fast service even when it's packed on a Saturday night. Coffee and drinks hit the mark, prices lean a bit high but expected, and the Troy location makes it an easy go-to, I'd come back

This place has just had their opening about ten days ago. The cafe is HUGE, with high ceilings and lovely gold decor. It's got a very warm feeling to it, with light music playing that's not too loud or distracting. I overall found this to be a great addition to the plethora of Arab core shops that have become so prolific in recent years. When I went, it was quite busy, but by the time I made my order, it took less than 10 minutes to get my stuff. We got an iced cookie butter latte (which appears to be Lotus!) and one of the macarons. I normally don't like macarons, but this one packed a lot of flavors. I believe I got one of the chocolate ones- it came with some gold flakes, and was half white and half chocolate dipped. The iced cookie butter latte met my expectations, you really can't go wrong with Lotus. There is a massive menu, and I really want to try their sandwiches as they are all halal and looked super tasty! You get your choice of bread on them and an up charge of $0.95 if you want a croissant for your bread. It's a bit busy and there's a lot of chatter but it's a nice place to chat or even study as I observed some customers doing that.

I visited Emari with friends on a Saturday evening, and it was super busy. The place itself is beautiful, with a really nice, spacious vibe. However, it was so crowded that many people stayed for hours with just one coffee, so finding a seat was really tough--even though there's a lot of space. The menu had a great variety, and we tried some desserts; the lattes and coffees were delicious. That said, the service could have been better--they didn't clean tables quickly, so some chairs were left dirty. I think they just don't put much emphasis on turnover, since it was packed. If you're looking for a relaxing evening, this is probably not the place--it's very noisy, and a lot of people bring small kids, even in the evening, so it's far from relaxing. The prices are also on the higher side, but it's definitely a fancy spot--just keep in mind it can be overwhelming if you're aiming for a quiet evening.

Visited during their soft opening and I was pleasantly surprised!! The cafe itself is beautiful, it's super spacious and there's ample space for groups too. There's also a study/meeting room. Given that we went during the soft opening, they were sold out of quite a few of the sandwich options, but we ended up getting the egg & cheese croissant and tunacado and both were great!! The croissants that the sandwiches were served on were delicious, super buttery and flaky! For my drink I got the mango smoothie and loved it, I saw someone drinking one and couldn't resist. That being said, the strawberry açaí refresher, iced pistachio latte, and iced caramel latter were all really good as well! Service was good, the girl at the register was super kind!

The staff didn't know what they were doing I usually go to playa once a week just not this location…read moreusually and they literally put in basically 2 scoops (yes it looked like ice cream scoops) of the açaí and pitaya. When I complained because my bowl wasn't filled all the way they "fixed it" by just slapping some more açaí and pitaya. Just go to another playa location not worth it. I got really bad stomach ache and I usually don't ever from playa when I eat there but from this one I did. Like honestly a bowl doesn't have to be picture perfect I get also all my fruit got covered by the slapped in açaí and pitaya but it's there. I forgot to get a picture of what it looked like before but it looked the equivalent of just under 1/2 eaten. Just go to Rochester or Bloomfield I've never had issues like that before at either of those places even when those places are slammed.

A nice healthy option at Somerset! Located on the first level across from California Pizza Kitchen…read more A few small tables. Friendly service. Made fresh to order, so may have a wait time depending on the number of pick-up orders. Yum: * Hummus + Beet Greek Salad: Great if you love kale, red quinoa, and feta. A little bit of hummus and honey beets. Love the thinly sliced cucumbers. Red wine vinaigrette on the side. * Carlo's Detox Smoothie: Very citrusy with the lime, which I liked. * Spicy Cilantro Sauce - a nice kick of spice to add flavor to any Southwestern food Pass: * Matcha Functional: If you can get past the offputting muddy green color, it's like a water downed matcha flavor that's still bitter... not sure how to describe it. Only reason I rated 4 vs 5 is that all the tables were dirty and when I asked for something to clean the tables with, they said I could use napkins. I also like to see locations that have ServSafe certifications posted.

I got their smoothie with a little bit of sea moss in it as well. The staff here wasn't too friendly at all unfortunately and the lines can be really long. Compared to the food court this place is the more quieter store to check out. The dining room was really nasty and it's hard to find a seat. Prices are actually pretty modest to say the least. Expect the way about more than 10 minutes for your order to be completed. The meal I had was really filling and I would definitely come back here if given an opportunity if I didn't come here on a weekend.
