First time trying this coffee shop with a party of 6 ,sadly the coffee drinks were all pretty meh. The raspberry lemonade and macarons were good, though.

I came in for the first time yesterday and had a pleasant experience. The worker that was there was super kind and helpful in helping me decided which iced expresso to go with. I tried the salted caramel mocha in the can which was super cool. Ambience was great. I will be back to try their food options .

Cute place and very spacious! It's fast casual with comfortable seating. Good for working or socializing. The coffee flavors are not detectable at all but the food tasted great. Had to park in a structure and walk a bit just to get to it though.

I was excited to try this place. It has good reviews and is cute and cozy inside. The coffee I got was a pistachio oatmilk latte, and although it was expensive (add ons for oatmilk & flavor), it was good (8/10). It came in a cute can that they assembled. I also got the grilled cheese and it was mediocre (6/10). While I enjoyed the mix cheeses, the bread was super extra toasted to the point of inedible on the edges and there was some sort of sprinkled spice mix on top that made the sandwich extremely dry. Also had the feta and cheese croissant and like someone else mentioned, it's undercooked and "gummy" on the bottom. Definitely bummed and unsure if I'll become a frequenter here.

Service was great, I got the hazelnut pistachio latte hot, and ordered my daughter a milk and a cake pop. Place was clean and a vibe. I just wish they didn't use tiny cups for lattes. Like give me a regular medium sized coffee cup not these small ones. Now I have to order another coffee or just stop at another coffee shop and grab another coffee on my way to my destination

Vanilla latte with Irish cream cold foam in a can! All soy milk.

One of my new favorites!! I visited on a Tuesday afternoon, there were constantly people in and out of the door but they were very quick and there is PLENTY of seating. The music was good, volume was good, great seating options. I ordered a speciality latte with soy milk in a can. I was a vanilla latte with Irish cream cold foam for $8.75. A tad high compared to Starbucks but not too bad for a specialty latte with cold foam and non dairy milk. The latte was veryyy good. The espresso was smooth and the drink was flavorful and sweet but not too sweet. I can't wait to go back!

    Matcha with milk and honey

One of the best matchas around! I have tried matcha at numerous locations in Metro Detroit! If you prefer a more pure matcha taste without a lot of sweet syrups and creative flavors, their base matcha with milk and honey is excellent! They seem to have the preparation and ratio on point. The interior is great with good seating and there is even a stocked bookcase. The cafe location is in a nice downtown area that continues to expand and it's close to a river & park you can stroll through if you want to enjoy your drink outside in nature.

Friendly very spacious coffee shop with sandwiches and pastries and cute candy cups to snack on too! Great seating hanging chairs, tables and chairs comfy couch very chill vibe for meeting friends or working on your own

Warm and comfy atmosphere. Clean facilities. Super friendly and helpful staff. Great coffee. I ordered the signature, The Common Root (hot version with whole milk) and it was delicious. I chatted with a friend for about 3 hours and the noise level was very suitable. The food looked amazing but we didn't try anything. Definitely going back.

This is part of a multi-use group of buildings and they seem to have the prime spot right at the corner. When I walked in, I was welcomed by a clean and pleasant space with high ceilings and green and gold decor. It's all new and there is a variety of seating types. I chose to sit at a small table near the side entrance. They have so many great food and beverage options, it was hard to choose. The nice young lady who took my order was very patient with me - I had lots of questions being my first time here. I ended up with a Mocha Pearls drink, Nutella Dubai Baklava, and an Almond Croissant. The drink was supposed to have chocolate pearls in it but I suppose since I ordered it hot, they melted. It basically tasted like a chocolate mocha so I would like to come back and try something different next time. The baklava sent me to the moon and back - I love chocolate baklava and it's hard to come by. Add the "Dubai" crunch kataifi with pistachio and I'm done! It was amazing! The Croissant was served warm and it had an almond paste inside. Soooo fresh and good! I love the attention to details and the care they took to serve everything so visually appealing. I appreciate that added touch. I will be back - and likely often!

In all fairness, I'm probably not the target market here - they have a huge drink menu with lots of different syrups and flavorings but I'm more of a no frills coffee person. The first time I got a plain latte and it was just ok, so this time I tried one of their specialties - the Mont Cloud. I assumed it would be mostly coffee and some cream but I guess it was a cloudy day because it was mostly cream (and ice) for $7. I also decided to try the basbusa because I've never had it before, but again ended not being up my alley since it's syrup-soaked. Oh well. The inside is decorated really cute and there's lots of different kinds of seating. They also have an outdoor patio area. Free parking since this coffee shop is located in a little strip mall. 3.5 stars overall.

I ended up ordering the southwest wrap that had grilled chicken turkey, bacon, spinach, avocado, corn, cheddar, red onion with chipotle aïoli. The sandwich was absolutely delicious with the accompanying green salad equally tasty. Definitely a superior sandwich and one of the best I have had in the area. This is a walk up counter order operation, where you sit at a table after ordering and they bring the food out to you. Just something to note in the event you are looking for a sitdown service as this business does not offer that. Having said that, if the quality and the taste of your food is the top priority, which it is in my case, I'll come to a walk up counter order operation all day long for sandwiches like this! Relative to the Interior it is very clean and contemporary with basically no decor or vibe to speak of. They just focus on the food and let that do all the talking. Staff was very friendly based on the minimal interface I had with them. Overall, sandwich shops with this quality are few and far in between and if excellent deli type sandwich shops are your thing you absolutely should check this business out.

I reviewed the menu before I left, and they seem to have a great selection of items that are healthy and reasonably priced. I was torn between the parifat bowl and the breakfast burrito, but the gal at the register convinced me to get the burrito instead. Next time, I'm doing the parifat. The total was about $14 and change, and I was pleasantly surprised at how big the portion was when it came out. They also have a great, but limited selection of coffee drinks with pictures as well. I stuck with water this time since I was good on the coffee. Food was great, even though I was confused about what bread it was served on. I went with the turkey sausage which I normally don't like because it's just so salty. I also received a nice salad with it as well, which was good and healthy. I really like it here, it's better than my usual coney island and in a great location. I know this place used to be a sub shop back in the day, but they closed some time ago. Mostly healthy food options here and have great hours. You can eat healthy with some flavor in your food, thus, Lula's.

Frankie was a former dean of the Kresge Library and a donor to the endeavor. Anyway, the café offers a delightful abundance of fresh fruit, assorted muffins, bagels, salads and sandwiches from Chartwells (OU's dining service provider). The café also highlights Peet's Coffee & Tea; a California based coffee company that holds the first Gold Certified LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design), very artisan, organic and environmentally friendly. The café is a very contemporary lounge with black and gold motif and paintings featuring local artists adorning the walls. There are booths, personal tables, and raised bar-style tables perfect for studying or just enjoying an afternoon of kaffeeklatsch.
