There were staff members present, but it seemed like merchandise lines, VIP lines, and general admission lines were all mixed together and going in different directions. Many attendees were frustrated and confused while trying to figure out where they needed to go. There needs to be better organization, clearer signage, and improved crowd management protocols. Overall, the entry process was very chaotic and made navigating the venue unnecessarily difficult.

This venue can expand to accommodate 100,000, and features a retractable roof. Sadly, the football field was under construction for the 2026 FIFA World Cup matches. On this tour, we also had the chance to meet Jerry Jones via an interactive experience (the newest tour attraction). There were a bunch of Cowboys fans in our tour group, proudly wearing their merch. Another guy boldly wore a Washington Redskins Jersey and was called out on it. One notable one is that there is ample bathrooms for the crowds, thus you almost never see a line to get into them. There are several food and beverage concession areas too. This is one area they could improve...while they get people in and out quickly, the sodas from them are often watered down, the pretzels and popcorn etc sit out just a little too long, and the prices just a little too high. I paid $7 for a bottled water. There really is a huge opportunity for SMU to do better by their fans in this area. Ok, now, for the opportunities, there was not nearly enough parking for everyone to park near the stadium. Additional parking was not clearly identified, so we had to keep asking people who worked there or who went to school about where we could park. We finally found a parking garage that was about 10 minutes away from the stadium walking. Once we got to the stadium. We went to 3 different gates before we got to the right gate. It would have been nice if the gates had been more clearly marked, but the staff was very helpful about getting us to the right gate eventually. Finally, I guess they did not consider how much alcohol college students drink, especially at Texas State and Rice because most of the alcohol besides beer was sold out by halftime, so that was a little disappointing. Again, overall, I had a blast, and I would definitely go to another game. But I have learned a lot of lessons for next time.

With a seating capacity of 13,000, this is truly a Texas-Sized venue. It is perfect for high school football playoffs, which was exactly why I was here. When I pulled up to the stadium I was blown away by its size. I was also very impressed by the availability of parking. The design of the lot really made there not be a bad spot in the lot, and there was ample room for the plethora of busses that that it takes for schools to take their shows on the road. Other great amenities that this place has is modern and bright lighting, decent concession and restroom options, and great views of the field from all over the stadium. The one downfall I noticed was there are a LOT of stairs, and that can be troublesome for some attendees. For example, the people sitting next to me left their elderly parents on the lower level where there was not as good of a view in order to get a better view for themselves. Overall though, this is a very good venue, despite this inconvenience.

In 1960, Lamar Hunt started and new AFL team in Dallas called the Texans. He used his dad's HR director of Hunt Oil Company to sign contracts and help set up the personnel management of the team. The HR director was a yelp elite friend of mine's dad. In 1963, Lamar moved them to KC as he felt he would have more success and renamed them the Chiefs. He also had other operations in KC he was growing. Another oilman, Clint Murchison, started the Cowboys. He and Lamar were good friends, When the AFL and NFL merged and first time Cowboys and Chiefs played each other, his dad took him to the before game party and he got to meet Lamar and Clint. That was Roger Staubach's rookie season and he got to meet him and Len Dawson (his dad signed him). That's the latest and the greatest. I love the history of the bowl and the Cowboys! Unfortunately, ordering off the concession stand menu is like a playing a game of jeopardy, place your order in the form of a question since there is no guarantee they are even offering it at the time. Although they claim to serve wine, they didn't yet it remains on the menu. So, on with the scavenger hunt from stand to stand for wine, wouldn't it just make sense to simply cross what you don't serve off of the menu and save us a few miles in that sweatbox? At this venue you learn to settle, bud light or a can of seltzer, take your pick. Either way you pay, over a dollar an ounce with a limit of 2 per passenger. Coldplay was great, loved the show. Consider saving a bottle of water and looking for a buggy ride for the after show exit, the walk seems even longer on the way out.. Cheers!

The staff was friendly, the crowd was great, and the whole place had a fun vibe. Drinks were a little pricey, but let's be real... if you go to a concert expecting bargain‑bin cocktails, you're probably new here. Parking was the only part I didn't love. I ended up farther out than I wanted, in an area that felt a bit sketchy, but it worked out fine. After standing there for about 2 hours, they did ask us to move to the end of the bar for potential customers .. there never really were more than 3 people ordering at a time, but we still moved. We got tall boy White Claws and it was the perfect sipper drink. The lighting and sound was good for the experience here and they had plenty of vantage points (including a VIP upper floor). Security wasn't bad, I didn't bring a bag, so I breezed through. There's a large parking structure right behind the TBF, so walking over was very easy too. We did initially have handicap people in our group who opted not to attend after we shared that the surrounding sidewalks were not very level and that the amount of people might be a little tricky for navigating with a walker. All in all though, I had a great time here!
