Bomb Factory is my favorite music venue in Dallas! The security is amazing. When you have metal bands, there's gonna be crowd surfing and moshing and wild behavior. Most places ban moshing & crowd surfing ruining the whole point of a hardcore show. Bomb Factory embraces the metal community and staffs security accordingly. These guys were on top of it. The staff also passes out water between bands to make sure people are hydrated even if they waited outside all day to get in and won't leave to get water because they don't wanna lose their spot. The bathrooms are clean, friendly staff directs traffic. My only gripe is the merch line because it snakes through the bathroom and bar lines and it's a mess at the end of the show of everyone trying to leave or use the bathroom or close their bar tabs. Thank you Bomb Factory. Can't wait for the next one!

The whole setup was great!! All lines were well explained and set up to get everyone into the venue quickly and orderly. Security was also quick and orderly, and every employee we encountered was kind - but Caitlyn was exceptionally kind and helpful. She made sure she was out checking on everyone all day giving us updates on when we'd line up and how things would go. She kept us well informed. They put out water jugs for everyone (and trash cans). I was pleasantly surprised at how clean the outside of the venue was - it didn't stink, there wasn't ick on the ground and the hours we spent out there were pretty pleasant, even in the 96° Dallas heat! The merchandise line was also very organized. There were several employees helping us all which made the sale quick which got us out on the floor fast. The bar tenders were busy but quick and also kind. Restrooms were clean and orderly. The tiered stage was great for those of us that are vertically challenged and really wanted to watch the bands and Keshi. And the crowd was pretty amazing, too. All in all this was a very well organized venue and we had a great time! Special thanks to Caitlyn and all the staff at The Bomb Factory for making our night (and day) memorable! Can't wait to return!

As some have mentioned this facility was a bomb factory some decades ago. It's now a gigantic music venue. The acoustics are solid considering the size. Bartenders managed the crowd well being efficient and friendly. My issue is with the wait to enter. The lines was literally the longest concert line I've ever seen. ..it was at least 4 blocks. ..AND raining. I don't typically do lines (in any sense of the word, lol) and opted to check out a bar until it started movin'. It was already 90 mins past the door entry time. If your favorite artist is hitting the stage you might want to check The Bomb Factory out, just be prepared to wait and wait and wait. Personally, I'd rather catch a local act in a smaller setting.

Opening gala for Carry the Load! I urge you to do about 5 minutes of research and look it up. You be seeing more of it in the media!

I was here for the Carry the Load 2019 Kickoff. This is a great venue and flexible be it concerts, Halloween haunted house and fundraiser events! Plenty of restrooms, quieter areas for conversations, places to party, places to dance, plenty of bars and places to set up tables to sell merchandise. The large screen for the A/V presentation was perfect! I had no issues with parking as there was free valet for this event. The bar was sufficient for this fund raising kick off. Food was catered and lots of room to do that. Lights were dim, but enough to socialize. If not familiar with Carry the Load, please look it up at CarrytheLoad.org. It is a great charity that supports many! Glad the kick off was at this venue!

Fantastic Venue for Concerts and Special Events. Great Sound System. Wonderful Lighting. Large Capacity. Reasonably Priced Drinks. Friendly Staff. Clean Bathroom. Well Orchestrated Security. Most recently, I attended the exciting 2018 World Cup Final with France winning over Croatia here. The setting was perfect. Strobe lighting after each goal. Clear huge screen. Great entertainment at entry and halftime on stage. Clear views and ideal points of interests to those sponsoring this event. Drop the mic! CHEERS!

    What an epic night!

Disclaimer: my review may be a bit biased because I had VIP treatment lol. Took a trip from Los Angeles to Dallas to see none other than the beautiful queen herself, Ms. Erykah Badu, for her birthday concert, Sunday, February 26th The venue's location reminds me of the art district in Los Angeles. Inside, the venue is pretty spacious. Your typical "standing room only" concert venue. I'm not a fan of those type of venues, so luckily for me, I was seated upstairs in Erykah's family and friends VIP section. Whew, what a difference VIP made. I was able to sit comfortably to enjoy the concert as opposed to standing for hours in a massive crowd (talk about claustrophobia). Of course I had no problem viewing the stage. I didn't purchase any drinks, and reading other reviews, I see that drinks are expensive. I can understand pricey alcoholic beverages, but $4 for a 16.9 oz bottled water is ridiculous!!!! Overall, I had a good time! Perhaps had I been standing in between the sea of people, my experience probably would have been different.

    Do they serve food?

Yes, they have BBQ onsite for most shows.

Doing a show at bomb factory this weekend and my boyfriend and I are taking his 17 yr old niece. She doesn’t have a government ID. Will they let her in without one?

Can she go get one before the show? If it's BORGORE she needs a paper saying she's over 16

I'm going to Borgore here on the 10nth and I got vip because that's all the tickets they had, if I wanted too could I go downstairs?

    Yes

Trying to decide if this is a safe place to send a 16 year old with friends To a concert?

I'd say sure if they go with an adult, the venue is great just not in the best part of town.

I purchased two sets of tickets for a show in October. One set is Floor GA; one set is Balcony GA. Which area is better viewing? Is Balcony GA a little less crowded but a more obscure/further view than Floor GA?

When i went the balcony wasn't open, but i would say it wouldn't be as crowded. The stage is huge and really any area is a great view.

Think I heard it holds about 400 people. There's a bar in the back, and a bar to the side of the stage, so it was pretty easy to get a drink at all times (important!). I can't really comment about the sound because the Buzzcocks played LOUD, but I enjoyed it, even when I went deaf. The opening band wasn't really my cup of tea, so we all went out to the patio. A huge patio at that. It was fun looking at the Dallas skyline and watching the hoochie mama's below going to the Pittpull concert. Hello silicone, but I digress. I didn't really mind paying $4.50 for weak cocktails, or $4 for Shiner, even when it was poured in a plastic cup. The bathroom attendant was so unnecessary, though. Is she always there? There are only two bathroom sinks, and we were at a punk show ferfucksake. Any who. I felt the venue was solid for what it does, and the fact that I was able to get so close to punk legends sealed the deal.

That can only be accomplished by being up close and personal. The loft is so much more intimate than the Palladium below. The bartenders can get busy, especially between sets, but don't worry they'll get to you. Between sets take a breather on their awesome balcony. Take some pics with your friend/significant other with the Dallas skyline. With all these positive marks you would expect a 5 star review. Sadly, the band line up is pretty limited. My favorite recurring band are the Spazmatics. I wish they could take a cue from Granada's rotation. Still, if your favorite band comes, it's a no brainer! Band with a view

Silo Dallas is a masterclass in how not to run a venue. From blatant safety concerns to baffling…read moredesign choices and outright hostility toward patrons, it's hard to imagine how this place continues to operate the way it does. Let's start with safety, because it's genuinely alarming. The venue is riddled with dangerous corners created by locked and barred doors, turning sections of the crowd into literal dead ends. In a packed show, this isn't just inconvenient--it's reckless. Crowd flow is terrible, visibility is poor, and the setup feels like an accident waiting to happen. Any venue that locks people into boxed-in corners during high-capacity events has fundamentally failed at its most basic responsibility. Then there's the so-called VIP area, which might be the biggest scam of the entire experience. Instead of offering better sightlines or proximity to the stage, VIP is completely separated from the performance, drained of energy, and bizarrely isolated. You're not paying for exclusivity--you're paying to be removed from the show you came to see. It feels less like VIP access and more like being banished to a poorly thought-out annex. The restrooms are another low point. The attendants are aggressively overbearing, hovering, directing, and policing behavior to an absurd degree. It's uncomfortable, unnecessary, and adds to the feeling that the venue doesn't trust or respect its own patrons. And if you're unlucky enough to attend during bad weather, good luck. There's no cover outside for rain, meaning guests are left standing around getting soaked with zero accommodation or planning. For a venue that hosts large crowds and charges premium prices, this level of disregard is embarrassing. All of this combines into an experience that feels hostile, unsafe, and poorly managed from top to bottom. Silo Dallas isn't just a bad venue--it's one that seems fundamentally uninterested in the comfort, safety, or enjoyment of the people keeping it in business. Save your money and your time.
