My feelings about the situation haven't changed, simply because finding out by text while trying to schedule my next appointment was unexpected after being a consistent patient for so long. But I do want to acknowledge his message and the sincerity behind it. I've always had positive experiences with him and his team, and I will truly miss this office and the care I received. The bigger issue here is the system itself. Our health insurance landscape has become so chaotic and unpredictable that both patients and providers end up caught in the crossfire. It puts everyone in impossible positions, and this was one of those moments where the system failed all of us.
